So I have a year old YH that is acting funny now, I think it burped the water line and now I think I get high moisture. I'll be checking in a few weeks when I get to my cabin. I also have a brand new in the box YH that is a no set version. And I have a CS1-i that I use for little fills. Should I rebuild the year old one? and use the new one I have while I do it. Or just Get the CS4 and be done with it? is the fill rate as fast as the YH? I'm spoiled by the fill rate of the YH!!!!!!
If we look at the input power requirements we get a pretty good idea of the fill rate comparatively. The YH is 1800W, the GX CS4 is 650W all things being equal fill rate = power. But that is NOT the whole story. The GX CS4 is quieter, is not running at the ragged edge, cooler, portable and IMHO more reliable. Did I mention NO STUPID BUCKET? Sorry, that one always gets me...Lol. In the end, you gotta do you. I've shared my perspective. Thank you for the comment! PS - if you do get a CS4 or CS4-I do consider my flow indicator light and hour meter, they up an already awesome game!
