  • Hi Guys,
    This is the final time you will see the GX CS3 reviewed here or at least this one. I have traded it to my good friend SG. So if you needed a real stamp of approval for this little compressor, SG ain't getting nothing without research!

    Thank U for these vids. I like the fact that guys like U are willing to put in the time and effort to get the info to dummies like me. I watched all of the vids on the GX. I just received a GX 2 and am anxious to start. THANX again

    Had mine since January 2021, still chugging along. Hand pumps are lonely but my shoulders appreciate it.

    Your car is supposed to be running while you're compressor is running that way your battery does not drain.

      Even with a normal 90psi tire compressor, they won't run at full speed without the engine running.

      @Redleaderone Thanks for the comment. I don't know if it's easier than a bottle but most definitely easier than a pump. Maybe because you don't have to go get this filled but I now have to find a replacement as my good friend SG has this one.

    Love the videos, just purchased a new fx dynamic, now I need a compressor. What are your thoughts now on the GX compressors?

      @shannonlocklear8816 Congrats on your purchase. I haven't owned the GX CS3 in awhile but my experience with it was great. My experience with the other 3 has been good as well, even with the one issue I had with the Vevor. If you want a suggestion tell me what your price range is.

      I traded that about a year ago. It was working fine around Feb. but don't know how it's doing now as I haven't heard from SG in awhile.

    Interesting review,, but how does it (the pump) remove all the moisture from the air charge which is vital to the longevity and safety of as air rifle or air tank. This lack of information has stopped me buying one so far

      Good question, the pump has a built in water separator but I also use and aftermarket inline moisture trap. You can find them cheap on EBay or Amazon and I'm sure many other places.

    I see you have a xisco sentry 177 do you know were I can get a few more 25 cal mags? Im getting back into shooting my air rifles and I cant seem to find the 3 that came with my order. Ive called XISCO, and Flying Dragon, and other places. Ive emailed them too and still no replies. so any info you may know might help. and if you get a chance. you might start looking just in case

      @MAURICE JOHNS Already in the same boat with you. I lost my fill probe and can't find one any where or even get the size so I could try to find a generic after market. Sorry man, I will update you if I find anything. Please do the same.

    Hi, how long should you let the cool down fan run after filling up your air rifle?

      @TonyGruber2009 That depends. If you are just filling a gun and it runs less that 10 mins I would turn it off as soon as it finishes. Hold you hand near the fans and see if hot or warm as is blowing, turn off once it's cooled down.

      @smokingunclefrank6037 I can't tell you. I traded it to SG for his AEA Challenger pro. Last I heard it was still chugging and he was using it often. But since he started selling off his guns and going fishing, it's be a long while since I heard from him.

      @DREAM-jh1zw Are you speaking of the filter in water trap that you use between the gun and compressor or a filter inside the compressor? If you are speaking of a filter inside the compressor I don't know if that can be done.

      @@Ameirs I have never heard of one being changed. It's more of a trap and that water is discharged when you open the bleed valve. Not saying that you can't, just that I have never heard of it.

    How well does it get moisture out of the air? Did it come with that in line filter or was that added after?

      @Preying Mathis It has a built in moisture trap that empties when you open the release valve. I put the gold moisture trap on it myself.

I've had a Benjamin Marauder since 2015 and have been hand pumping and hating it lol when I got into it the only affordable option was that shoebox. I decided it was too much for what it was but now compressor competition is high so there are more options and there have been so many junk ones I just haven't pulled the trigger on one lol I just picked up a Impact M3 yesterday and hand pumped it for 2 days and thats enough of that lol im torn between that GX CS3-1 and the omega travel charger and the nomad 2..... I think the GX will be fine for me and won't really need the water cooling of the omega because im only going to be topping off rifles directly. I don't have or need any buddy bottles or tanks. Have you had any issues with the GX?

      @J.B.J TEXAS Airgun Ballisticz I have had 4 Yong Hengs and still have 3 so I beg to differ with you sir. Maybe they are better to you but for me these are 10x better than a Yong Heng.
