Mate, if you’re not on Visit Scotlands payroll they’re missing out. Seriously, this is the good stuff.
Thank you 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
What a road that A93 is 😊 the Classic is running really well and sounds fantastic 👍
It’s an amazing road! And while big faster bikes fly up the longer straights the 350 is in its element on the twisty stuff just using the engine breaking and gears 😁👍
Great. Thanks. Remember my bike trip in Scotland in maybe 1991 and your film reminds me
Glad you enjoyed it 😁👍 what a fantastic road!
Wow! That's your best yet, Bruce, you'll have a job following that one. Fantastic road, amazing scenery and you even got the weather right.
You must have balls of brass to ride up to that pill box. I really must get myself organised and do that route on my 350 next year, although there'll be no off roading for me.
Great stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it! In the 1990s we rode over the Devils Staircase into Glencoe then across Rannoch Moor on trailbikes, wish we had that on film as was crazy! 🤣🤣🤣😁👍 the wee Enfield did proud never missing a beat and took it all in its stride
I have so much admiration for this bike now after nearly 10,000 miles fun in 14 months 😁👍
Wonderful countryside roads with BIG hills. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 was well up for it; Plus some off-roading . Great Video. Thank You.
Glad you enjoyed it 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Great! You have demonstrated the off-road capabilities of the bike in this video. Well done!
Had to go up there for a pic! 😁👍
Absolutely gorgeous views, and superb demonstration of the off road, dirt road capabilities of the Classic 350. No wonder it's used by the Indian Army for patrolling the mountain passes along the border.
Another fabulous Classic 350 riding vlog. Appreciate you letting the throaty roar of the J-series engine be a good part of the soundtrack, rather than mask it with some music.
I look forward to watching your ride vlogs. Stay shiny side up and ride safe!👍
Glad you enjoyed the film, and the 350 singing it’s heart out! 😁👍👍
New subscriber from the USA! Beautiful video. I love your video style. I feel like I’m there riding with you. I love hearing the bike and not some music. Your narration here and there is just right. I really enjoy hearing about the area and the historical bits. I just bought a Hunter 350. Spring can’t come soon enough. I agree with another commenter who suggested showing a map view of your ride. I would enjoy seeing that as well. I hope I can ride in your beautiful country someday.
What a beautiful Cruising in the Land of Scotland!
The perfect motorcycle for long distance travel and daily commuting.
It is soothing in the heart and mind. I love hearing the calmness of thumping from the bass of an engine, it beats along the heart. Plus the beautiful scenic of greener landscape.
It brings calmness to the mind and body.
What a therapeutic and enjoyable ride!❤❤❤.
Awesome Royal Enfield Classic 350 reborn.
Couldn't agree more! A perfect combination of manageable bike with superb economy for exploring the wilds of Scotland 😁👍👍
Cheers Bruce
That’s exactly the sense of adventure. I’m looking for when I get my next bike returning to 2 wheels after a 20 year layoff….. I really like your spirit and thanks for sharing and maybe see you in West Lothian sometime when I’m up that way…
These bikes are pretty impressive for what they are and what they can do! 😁👍👍
What a great video! Loved the off road bit. Great advert for the bike and Scotland.
Thanks Simon, I just had to try go up to that WW2 pillbox for a picture! It is my screensaver now on my pc 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Absolutely brilliant! Scenery was beautiful, as well as your Royal Enfield, especially on that pill box! Cheers from Texas! -Steve-
Thank you very much! Was a great trip with the weather on my side and the Classic 350 perfect on those Highland roads! 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Brilliant, and quite unique I would imagine.👌👌 I thoroughly enjoyed this Vlog ~ Thank you for the experience! 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it thanks!
Not seen a bike ridden up to that WW2 pillbox before! 😁👍 cheers Bruce
Wow, It amazes me where people ride those bikes! They seem to be able to go anywhere
Hi, they are great for where you can go for being a road bike! The trail tyres make a big difference! 😁
Cheers Bruce
Are you following me ? I "did" that road on my Bullet 500 a short while ago; well 25 years ago but it feels like last week...
The ski centre does not look as bleak now as it did back then; I imagine it looks a lot better when it is covered in snow.
Stupendous bit of off-roading; who really needs a dual-sport when you have an Enfield ?
Time travel when you go up there! A timeless landscape 😁
The Enfield 350 is not too bad for a road bike off-road! 😁👍
This is my 3rd time watching this video, pity I can only give you one up tick. It brings back good memories of riding in Scotland.
That was a great weekend for sure! 😁👍👍🏴
Awesome, I have ridden that road often on a Classic 350 and now on my Hunter and have never noticed the pillbox never mind thought of riding up to it! You definitely showcased what these machines can do.
Thanks, I just had to go up there when I spied it! 😁👍
Parking on top of the pillbox with a Royal Enfield may just be a world first! Not just a UK record….
I should send the pic to Royal Enfield India! 😁
@@Coastriderscotland absolutely you should!
Super video, Graet road from Pitlochry, Glenshee and up to Grangetown.
First visit in 72 on my brand new Dunstall CB250, Been back many a time on different bikes, It has become a yearly trip from Somerset, Long haul but absolutely worth it and now I have the pleasure of enjoying it with my Son on his bike. 😁😎.
Superb you have rode there all my life! Was born in 71!
And now sharing with your son! Superb!!!! 😁👍
Great ! Your drive on those roads is a pleasure to see and hear! A Royal Enfield is the best for those like me who love the mono. I think of a scram or a himalayan (new or old) to complete my too fast gsx 1400 that I shall NEVER sell (I like in line fours too 😉). Thank you for your comments and the discovery of a beautiful region.
Hi thank you, the Enfields are in there element on those highland roads, light and nimble enough to u turn and stop to admire views on single track road verges and at touring speeds over 100mpg! 👍😁
That’s a fine wee bike fur these roads slow enough to take in the views as you go and comfortable to any rain forecast hope not lots to take in
Hi, been a great bike and so rewarding to ride and diy work on 😁👍
Great series. As a German living in Africa (with a GT650) it would be nice to show sometimes a map of where your rides are.
Hi Axel, i can provide a map sometime in a future film 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
that car park at the end looked HUGE... please tell me that never gets filled up............. nice lil vid you should ride with some friends its too lonely....
The Glenshee car park is often full with skiers in winter! If it snows!
I do ride with friends often though also love my solo rides and trips too! 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
I do love a riders view with the engine sound like this. The classic engine sound is all the music I need. 1st class video. Thanks very much and to TAYM for sending me here. Definitely worth getting up early for clear roads. Superb.
Glad you enjoyed it Steve thanks 😁👍
I've probably ridden up that road over 1000 times and probably watched 1000 more vids of it but that was the most interesting journey I've ever been on up there, outstanding. Footnote: If it wasn't for me watching your cycle out to Corrour I'd never have found this.
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the ride, i lucked out again on the weather on this trip!, be some more cycling films soon as did not do as much this year and have missed the adventures we have been on 😁
Cheers Bruce
I'm not there in body, but I'm pillion with you in spirit. Greetings from Australia.
Glad you enjoyed the ride, more from this trip to come 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Awesome episode mate! Hoping to get a himalayan early next year, and trying to talk my dad into getting the classic! Looks a beautiful bike 😍
You should! I’m sure you will not be disappointed with the Himy, and if your dad gets a Classic you can maybe sometimes ride that too! 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Nice! 😀Looking forwards to Episode 2.
Thanks Alex, 2nd film will be up next week 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
I watch videos about the classic 350 because I'm thinking about buying one but yours are so exceptional I almost feel like I'm just riding along with you. thanks for the tour my friend and be safe. Cheers from Alabama!
Glad you like them Bobby 😁👍 you will really enjoy one of these bikes! 😁👍👍
Cheers Bruce
Omg what an amazing ride!!! Nice bike too its like the road was made for this bike!!
I love it!a great road for a great bike! 😁👍👍👍
Cheers Bruce
You had better weather than me! I came back home that way on Monday after visiting my grandson and it rained non-stop all the way from Moffat to Ullapool 🙄 Even in those conditions it’s still a great road!
I got home last Thursday evening and been unsettle here since! Crazy winds and isolated heavy showers!, I think I got real lucky on my 3 day trip!
Another trip to add to my to do list! Excellent stuff.
You should Stanley! It’s an amazing route! 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Jeezus Bruce, I know people with trail bikes that wouldn't have gone up there to that pillar box ! 😂
You've just proved a Classic 350 with nothing more than a set of 50/50 tyres will turn into a Highland mountain goat! 🐐 and literally go anywhere !
😂
One of your best videos, I'm definitely getting some off road tyres when my road tyres eventually wear out ,very inspiring! 😆
Cheers Mel 🍻
Hi Mel, I just had to go up there for a pic on top! 🤣👍😁 these wee bikes are great fun! I absolutely love this bike for all that it is but all it can do! 👍😁👊👊👊💪😁
Been up and down that road so many times and never knew that the old road was still there! "Tea at the Shee" is a regular stop for me and I recognize these photos from there. I tend to run to Alyth and up through Tullymurdoch (past the windfarm) then on up to Glenshee.
It’s an amazing road for sure!
Great to get a car free morning too! 😁👍
Brilliant ride Bruce and that ride upto the pill box, very impressed. Royal Enfield could use it for a promotion film. Do people really need to spend ten or twenty thousand pounds/dollars on an adventure bike!!!!. You and your bike proves not. Well done, cheers Carl.
Thanks Carl, the wee bike is proving to be very versatile, comfortable for long distances and amazing value for money! 😁👍
The engine and tires certainly earned their corn on that day 😊
The wee bike proved itself on those roads Julian 👍👍👍
Fair play tae ye! Shows the difference the right tyres make.
Was impressed with the bikes easiness going up that track 😁👍👍👍
Hi Bruce, great video. I love the Glensee Road, just fabulous, been up and down it many times. Looking forward to your meet up with Wee Mark who I also know. Your bikes going great and sounds cool. I’ve made some fantastic updates to mine, the video won’t be out for another few weeks yet. Ride safe Tiger Ness.
PS the run up to the pillbox was scary 😰
Thanks TN, think last time I rode there on 2 wheels was my Transalp in around 2003!
We drove up to do the nearby Munroes and I just had to return on the 350! 😁👍
Great to ride with Mark down to Montrose, be a few more films before that film! 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
BLOODY AWESOME!
An amazing road on the 350! 😁👍
Iv been up devels elbo 55 years ago very steep no good in winter ,living in Australia since 74
Hi Jimmy, fantastic you were on that road back in the 60’s 😁👍 bet your a lot warmer now down under 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
I went in opposite direction about 5/6 weeks back, on Rebelene the Rebel, mist the area were the old devils elbow was. But it was a bit windy, I thought ah shite, and carried on.
Well done going up to that lookout, and parking on top.😊
I would not attempt that. Lovely roads, but in need of resurfacing. Great scenery for sure. Cheers.
Glad you enjoyed it Mark, was glad of the trail tyres as bit loose in places 😁👍
That looks an ace road, can't wait to take a trip up there myself.
It’s ace Trav 😁👍
One word...."Epic" ! We have a saying on this side, "You've got more nerve than Dick Tracy ". I can't wait for that photo essay you have got to publish 😉
It is indeed Epic that Road Lance! 😁👍
BsAufull thaks
😁👍
Nice filming, its almost like being there.
Thanks Owen for coming along on the ride 😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Just got to say it, BLOODY FEARLESS Bruce, I'd have been kacking by that point. It's a really nice "doer-upper" though (the pillbox).
Had to be done Brian! 😁👍👍👍
A mountain goat of a bike.
It’s up to the challenge and did it no problem! 😜👍
Cheers Bruce
Smashing video Bruce very enjoyable thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it Raymond 😁 thank you 👍
OMG…that track 😲 😂😂
No problem on the wee 350! 😜👊👍😁
As a Scottish biker the state of the road surface on the A93 is a major embarrassment and an indictment of the SNP government's priorities. Goodness knows what riders from Europe must think of it.
Agree totally on this and many of out road conditions
That was brilliant and a little buttock clenching as you went up to the pill-box. There’s more than a little “mountain goat” about that bike. 👍👍
Thanks Nick! Was good to do some ‘light off-road’ to show what potential this great wee bike has! 😁👍
That's some challenge you have put out. I wonder who will be the next biker to ride up there 😮
😁 be good to see a big GS up there 😁👍
Hi Bruce, love the videos..just wondered what handlebars you have fitted? Thanks mate
Hi, thanks for watching the films 😁
The bars on the bike are actually the stock bars with an aftermarket MX cross brace I had in a box, I had previously fitted Webco classic desert bars when I first painted the bike green but the end lengths were not long enough to fit the switch gear brake combination and the levers were on the start of the curve of the bar so we’re sitting squint, but yep there are the stock bars 👍
Cheers Bruce
PILL BOX IS AN OVERNIGHT CAMP =)
Be a good Bivi spot for sure! 😁👍
Fel off my GS right on that corner, tricky to put a foot down, nobody in sight to help 😁
Hi Steve it’s real steep!, the Go Pro does not show the angle!, imagine in that bus! Must have been terrifying! 🤣😁
@@Coastriderscotland full luggage, nobody about, just wanted to see it. Jumped off as it went over but you're right, very steep and tricky to get the bike back up!
A93 , brilliant road 🙂 time for your heated gloves yet ? :) What an amazing wee bike :)
It’s getting cooler now, next day out the RST gloves will be on and batteries charged in case it’s cool again!,
Cheers Bruce
Lol, your like a dam mountain goat. Re did really well though
Thanks Phil 😁👍
roomster in england?
This is Scotland! 😜🥃
@@Coastriderscotland And roomster is from Czech republic...
Try doing that on a big gs😂
Well i laid down the gauntlet to seeing a GS ride up there and park up but not seen any big ‘Adventure bike’ vids or pics of one there yet! 🤣😁👍
Cheers Bruce
Fantastic video love your bike set up! Could you put a map on to show your route?? Just subscribed great really great 👍
Hi, I’ve not worked out how to put one up on the pc but could do a film with a road map and pointer! 😁👍
