Your malls in Canada are still lovely! In the US or at least my area the malls are a dead zone now, stores have left and nobody goes to them. Sign of the time but I am an 80s-90s girl and the mall was the hub of social lives then!
Lovely vlogmas. I’m someone who is very a heavy wear & tear on sock made from non commercial sock yarn ( always redoing the feet) so now I make slouchy leg warmers out of the special yarns and make everyday ankle socks socks in commercial sock yarn.
Beautiful WIPS! One of these days I hope to learn how to knit more than just scarves and dishrags, lol! Peppermint twist is my favorite scent also! Thanks for your time and lovely vlog!
Thanks again for another great video. I have knit several Sophie scarves they are a fun knit. It always feels good to get organised and you have done a great job with your sock projects. I luv BBW candles too.
I took all my sock wipes away with me for a long weekend in the summer with no other knitting and I got so many off the needles. I don’t know what happened when I got home but I misplaced them all. I found them earlier this week when looking for something else. It is a good feeling to get them done (although I have used all those needles again so I still have all those sock wipes! ) xxxx
So nice to see you here Sandy! Thank you for doing Vlogmas this year, you always make me want to pour a cup of coffee and start knitting. I’m doing 2023 Cozy Knitter Advent also, only I think we caked up from opposite ends, my first stripe is a pretty beige color!
Quality street candy in that purple tin is the absolute best my husband/kids alway eat the good ones ( they are all good but I have my favorites) thankfully theres no shortage of places to get it in my area lol
So appreciate your honesty about your sock situation. I also just went through my Christmas knitting basket and found two advent sock WIPs from unknown years. I like them so much, but never wear them. It may be time for a frank conversation with myself 😂 Thank you for making vlogmas for us!
Love watching your channel and vlogmas is one of my favourite times to catch up with you. Enjoy your December and thank you for sharing it with us all 💚🥰💚
Hi Sandy, I have recently switched to knitting DK weight socks and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I find they are way more fun to knit and they fit me so much better! Thank you for another lovely vlog and making it available to all. I enjoy them so much and find so much inspiration from you!!
Sandy, So happy to join you another year for Vlogmas, your Vlogmas is one of my most favorites. Knowing how you love cookbooks (as I do), I wondered if you've ever discovered Apres All Day by Kelley Epstein? When I first saw it, a couple of years ago, I said to myself, "Hmm, I'd buy this just for the photos!". Happily, the recipes are really, really good. Having lots of fun watching you and your family. Happy Hols! 💖
Hi Sandy, lovely podcast, new subscriber! I’m a reluctant sock knitter. I love the idea but oh I hate the idea of DPNs and I hate picking up stitches for the gusset. I don’t mind the heel turn. But your Magic Socks intrigued me! Is this a thing? Is there a pattern for them? This would make me a happy sock knitter!
I can't remember how/where I learned, but yes you can adjust a heel pattern and work on circular needles. I'm not sure of where to look, maybe very pink knits on UA-cam.
Happy Vlogmas! What do you do with your leftover sock yarn? Have you done any projects? I am always looking for ideas since I have lots of leftover yarn. 🥰💜

YES to quality street chocolates.. A must for every holiday season :))
Look forward to this every year. Thank you for vlogmas. And not one coffee drip . Impressive 😊
Thank you so much for doing vlogmas again this year. Yours is my favorit one. I am watching from Germany. 😊
Ooooo! Lucky Glen! Chocolate covered jujubes are my favourite!

Merry Christmas Sandy!!! The Cozy Knitter stripes reminded me of your garland on the piano!!!
Love those socks you’ve knitted up. Just weave in those ends and you’ll have some lovely pairs to wear during the season! 🎄🎄🎄🥰

I share your sense of overwhelm when trying to focus but my craft area is not calm! Beautiful blog ❤

That yarn is so pretty ! Also I hate when my craft room is cluttered have to always clean it before projects!!! Love Bath & Body works candles too!
I like the smell of mint so much, my toilet bowl cleaner is minty LOL
That coffee would be hairs on your chest … it’s that strong!! 😀
