I dont want to dishearten you, but this game is awful. God awful. Not from visual perspective, definitely not. It has many robots every update, so many features, we even got literal titans sized robots. It's all good UNTIL you started a match. You either paired with noobs or pros but with less updated robots. To make it simple, it's a pay to win game. Like seriously, if you don't have the newest robots, you'll likely have less than 20% chance to win. I've spent 400$ worth of real money trying to get 1 of the newest units, and I didn't get it. Just parts of it, around 85%. So done with the game lmao

I was able to get pretty far in the game without it, but I had to rely on teammates who had better gear. Not really recommended unless you are willing to sink a ton of time into it
For anyone wanting to download this, it literally takes a year to fully upgraded a robot to it's max level if you don't pay money
Oh and the footage is mostly from when you start as when you are able to get the larger Bois then you will most likely fight against players with maxed out weapons and bots
Bandai just need to make an HG Guntank revive to complete the Operation V bois
yeah thats the only one Im waiting for I have the revive RX 78 2 and RX 77 yet the guntank is still the old one
Forget the OG Guntank I'm still waiting 4 the badass Guntank of them all the Assault Guntank from IGLOO.
But the old 2010(?) guntank is fine tho.
I don't really think the HGUC Guntank needs a revive honestly
Not before we get a HGUC Gelgoog revive, I feel like it would benefit more from a revive than the Guntank honestly.
If you rewatch the first episode, you'll see there were more than one of the older models but they were not finished being assembled. The Zaku was able to make short work of them with its HE rounds, since their sensitive inards were totally exposed.
The Guncannon saw limited production and appears in a ton of other materials. Usually, when it shows up in a game, it's basically a boss. You find a couple in Zeonic Front and it's basically suicide to fight them directly. You have to ambush them from behind while they're busy and have an entire team just alpha strike them right in the weaker armor of their backpack.
It's VERY stressful and scary lol
I know what you mean. It took me years to defeat the guncannons first appearance in the game.
I wish both the Guncannon and Guntank were more than grunt suits…since they were prototypes like the Gundam from the series I believe. I can imagine both suits would be terrifying if they get the same redesign treatment as the Gundams.

Tell that to the Mass Produced Guncannon, they literally turn it into a rugby helmet.

Mecha, get some cotton swabs and a bottle of isopropyl alcohol, which you can get at pharmacies and stores that sell beauty products. You dip the swab in, then juist gently wipe the plastic where you want to remove paint or panel liner that you've used from these markers.
This, way cheaper than those eraser markers and better result, there’s special manicure cotton buds that end in a point that are handy for detail work
But he will have to make sure it's a stronger isopropanol. I used 91% and it took the paint of immediately

In reference to the unit numbers, 108 and 109 were the white bases guncannons. Mostly piloted by Kai and Hayato, unit 203 was kinda just there during the battle of A Baoa Qu, idk what its fate was, or who was piloting it.
I loved building the origins yellow guncannon and I'm impressed with this one.
The origins yellow guncannon was my first custom kit.
This was my first ever gunpla, still has a place on my shelf after about 4 years.
Built this cutie last January. Amazing kit. The Iron Cavalry version is pretty good too. They made an amazing job with all the revive and origin line
The Gun Tank and Gun Cannon deserve more respect. Their designs are so blocky but we gotta love the core block system thinking design style.

I finished this gunpla two days ago, this was my first build! I love it!
This was one of the first kits I've bought when I first got into Gunpla and I still love it! Also you forgot to mention that the scope on the beam rifle can tilt to the side so the Guncannon can properly look down it!
Fantastic review! This was the first gunpla I got and I've been hooked for years. Its nice to know this kit still holds up.
P.S. you should check out the origins guncannon. It's closer to the guncannons bulkyness but it has slightly better articulation.

This was one of the first HGs I built and it still holds up today. Excellent HG.
As an aside, I think you might have a defective waist polycap. Mine is about 6 years old now and its polycap has none of the issues yours did.

This kit is what got me back into gunpla I picked it up at comicon back in 2015.
Damn, Mecha, that vibe I'm getting is telling me there's huge mech-shaped itch somewhere that badly needs a scratch. Goes to show much we all need a red hot injection of Armored Core.
Unfortunately there’s no reason to make armored core when the souls type games print money. But it’s a sad state when a mobile game looks tempting just because it has mechs lol
I would recommend battletech for some cool mech stuff.

As an easier way to do the visor, if you don't just use a piece of a foil sticker, is to use the paint on the interior of the clear part rather than dealing with the interior and cleanup

I bought 2 of these so I could have a platoon of them... No regrets.
A little camo and custom Antenna, transport hooks and some hatch details and they look right at home with other wargaming pieces.
Finally convinced myself to get this kit cant wait to build it think i want the gm guard custom next possibly some zaku variant too🤔

I just love this kit! It's so awesome and is one of first model kits.
I painted mine in RX-78 colors and it turned out pretty good.
Hey-yo mister MGK, just a heads up that the polycaps can and *will* get really loose very early on in the post-build life. Might wanna get some sorta glue on the ball joints to help keep them tight so ya don’t have to worry about it flopping over by itself!

In most sources, the Guncannon carries 240 mm cannons on its back. Its height is around 30 times the calibre of the cannons, making it a little shorter than 8 meters. Either the cannons have a greater calibre or they are drawn comically oversized.
Again, the Guntank has 120 mm cannons, but they somehow have much greater calibre than the Zaku's 120 mm gun.
interesting that no one seems to panel the exposed frame parts on the ankles and sides of knees
if you haven't yet you really should check out the gouf revive i feel as a modern hguc high grade you'll love it

I got the same figure but the ball joint in the head was very loose and the left are socket cracked when i opened the box
This Guncannon, despite of being an old school mobile suit designed for fire support, is still timeless... I wish I could nab one of those alongside the RX-78-2 Grandpa..
Whenever I use my file on nubs it just leaves big places with white mark does anyone here have some tips on what to to prevent or after that I hate all the marks

Actually, I rewatched the original animated series, there was only 1 Guncannon, and it featured no number. It was piloted by Kai, as per usual. Hayato still used the Guntank to fight until it was destroyed. So, no. If you want an "anime accurate" Guncannon, there is no need to apply the "108" sticker. In the Cucuruz Doan's Island Movie, there were 2 Guncannons, but their numbers are different from 108 and 109.
