@@chezbe Paul Burton is a great pianist and he plays dynamic but his interpretations are not thaaat good, Kissing plays more 'Presto con fuoco in my opinion ^^
The most clear lines of articulated right hand and no pedal in syncope’s of left makes the most of this furious tempo the best performance in all times !!!!❤
The best version of the prelude I've found on the internet. Literally greatness. At 0:24 when the first part repeats, but with octaves, somehow he manages to play louder without losing the quality of the touch. This is one of the best piano performances for me at least
I'm coming back to this performance just now and am astounded. I hope I can eventually play like that. The modern distractions of social media and the work/life grind have made it difficult for me to practice. On my channel you can see my attempts at this piece. They're not great. Often we make excuses about our inability to cope with the environment - that's what I've been doing recently. I know each of us can put down the vices and get to the matters that really bring importance to our lives. So what I said in the third sentence is true but not the full context of my situation. I can do better. I hope to be able to perform a recital for my acquaintances soon.
Yes!!! I love the interpretations that brings out the rhythm of the left hand, which is very rare. By addressing the left hand rhythm, the dynamic and momentum of this piece actually appears. Wonderful version! Maybe one of the best. I know that Katsaris also was able to do so
It's just fantastic! Everything is interconnected by amazing logic! All this music is full of such passion and desperation. Moreover, the listener does not even immediately understand that this tempo is available to very few masters. Chopin's tragedy is rooted in the suppression of the Polish uprising led by Kosciuszko. Poland has always suffered from Russia. And that is why now the Poles are so eagerly helping the Ukrainians who are now suffering terrible hardships from the same Russia, but in an even more disgusting manifestation. From rf! And the feeling of such horror and longing, humiliation from insults and a thirst for revenge, as in the interpretation of Kisin, is incredibly admirable!
I wanna see someone cover this on guitar. Specifically his right hand. I'm a guitarist. And seeing this makes me want to play the piano. Mind boggling.
I was recording a French television show on my VCR about 25 years ago. The videotape is in color, but due to its quality, digital conversion cannot be in color.
This might be one of the best versions of this prelude
Paul Barton good too
Dare I say better than rubenstien!
i agree, i like how clear of the notes

@@justwannahelpsomeonefroman2356 Paul Barton is a mature musician, but he is nowhere near a virtuoso and his technique is mediocre.

I'll have what he's having.

Endless hours of practicing. Since birth

The tone clarity is amazing. No hint of an ugly sound yet the fire and drama are always to the fore.

Kissin is one of my favorite pianists. In my opinion his version of Chopins b-flat minor prelude is the best performance this piece ever.
Listen to the interpretation of Sergio Tiempo, he is good too, but i love kissin of course !
Ah I love these old sing-a-long tunes...
lmfao xD
I can hear every note right hand violently clear ! Amazing !!!
Im so satisfied with his left hand on this one
What a fantastic rendition. The pure passion is rarely if ever paralleled

The only one I could find that has nailed it.
Everyone who plays this that I've heard so far, has done an excellent job on it.
Miss Capri
Whom did you hear else?
@@mysenf3575 I like Tiempo's version of this prelude
mysenf Yundi li has played it as well
Eric Lu.
I love the way the majority of his sight is dedicated to his left hand.
Nobody plays this Prelude better than Kissin.
agreed
Sergio Tiempo is faster tho
Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For me Argerich's version is better.
@@bakuto.1055 Faster doesnt mean better tho
Cudowna muzyka genialnego Chopina, boskie wykonanie ❤️
Tak jest.
those ending chords are so majestic
진짜 깔끔한 소리다 ㅠㅠ 격정적인 것도 그렇고 속도도 그렇고 감히 평가할 수 없을 정도로 엄청난 연주...
This performance actually has a wonderful feel for the dance-like rhythm in the left hand, which I'd not heard anyone bring out as well before.
yep especially at 0:23

凄すぎます🎵‼️やっぱりキーシンは素晴らしい‼️大好きです😉👍🎶配信ありがとうございました😉👍🎶
Love the video! The first time i have ever seen Kissin on a yamaha though :/ He is ridiculously skilled , this piece is so hard oh my :O
unbelievably fast and accurate here... typical Kissin performance!
That hair is the definition of FLOOF.
Floofy hair, piano beast. Best combo ever.
Man your comments are literally everywhere 😂😂
@@apug296 Yes indeed‼️😉👍🎶 He is miracle and great👍😀👏🎵❤️
I'm comparing this version to all the versions I see in the Chopin competitions. Kissin is on another level
this piece sounds really good at high speed
It's very impressive the solidity of his technique
This man immediately win in a competition
He's too good for a competition lol
He never had to. In 1984 he walked across the stage of the Moscow Conservatoire, sat down at the piano, the music started and the rest is history!
Yes indeed 🎵He is miracle🎵🎶💐❤️❤️❤️
this is chopin's hardest prelude; the bass swing strikes were impressive.
The top of Kissin's performance are that bass jumps... The best interpret. on this prelude.
Wow! Outstanding!
He is miracle and great👍❤
He truly plays this "con fuoco"
So true!!!! I was gonna say that
❤
Kissin is my faourite pianist
Me too✋❤️❤️❤️
wspaniałe BRAVO

Maestro Kissing plays this piece much better than me . Nespasisi, thank you for sharing . Dawid.
The first few chords I would of taken a little more time on but apart from that I love it. Live on Kissin.
+Friedrich Hueppe You are right. That F7-9 must have value of dirk anxious introduction, not On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!.
Lol! This particular prelude never fails to make me laugh. But your comment made me laugh even harder.
I guess they were recording this for a 1-min slot for a tv ad for the verbier fest so, he had to do it under a minute :D
Oh... do you play it? That good?
Jesus.. Another stupid comment anyone?

I'm speechless 😶
Chopin: I bought a whole piano so i'm gonna use whole piano
People say Horowitz is the best, but my favorite Chopin interpretators are Zimerman and Kissin
I agree. Horowitz was never good at CHOPIN
Юный Гений пианизма ЕвГений Кисин Kissinn
와아..
Genius
The last face impresion doesnt have prize. It says everything. Kissin himself

I want a recorder quintet to play this.
I'm convinced Chopin was a madman.

Insane
His left hand is unbelievable

Is this world record? xD
Kissin plays YAMAHA!?
I forgot breathing for a minute and 3 seconds
Prokofiev??? 🤔
He's the best, I think, for this piece. Better than Sungjin Cho.
Nothing beats Argerich's 0:53 second 1977 performance of this prelude.
Martha didn’t really bring out the rhythm of the left hand😮 a bummer. Speed wise I think Arrau has the fastest version so far
Most infant and scholastic play
DTM?
Geen, bedoel ik!!
Adam's falling
I'm a huge fan of Kissin, but you gotta check how Sergio Daniel Tiempo played it!
I'm guessing that the piano required a cigarette at the end of this performance.
인간이 아님 모짜르트 현신
That E natural as opposed to the E flat in measure 37, tho…
Just kidding.
Yes, Morzart frequently used the maj7th note on a 7th chord.
Why is he playing in Hogwarts?
