Personally I'd be interested in instrumental and "vocal" versions of whatever he puts out. Flutterwonder does have a certain charm thanks to the vocals, but the track below it is certainly solid as well, and there's times where that would fit my mental state far better than others. That said, this still sounds like the same guy, which is more than I can say about some artists who move on post-MLP.
A subjective opinion that will hopefully be taken as constructive criticism: I liked your previous music not because it had ponies, but because the voice elements gave it emotion and a cuteness i liked a lot. The two new tracks you posted still sound a lot like your previous music, but without voice elements they sound empty to me and fall into the category of casual background music for other things, as opposed to music i would consciously listen to.
I would disagree, actually. I really enjoy the direction that has been taken, the most recent two songs that Matt has released have been the best so far in my opinion. I prefer the background music style, I enjoy listening to this when I'm doing something else.

This music is so awesome. Very, very relaxing. Quite good! I think you learned a lot from mixing ponies. It's actually a bit cleaner without the vocal clutter, and the pure sound is wonderful
