Thanks. I’ve been playing guitar casually for like 3 years and now I’m finally trying to get better lots of bad habits to correct lmao

This is amazing. I've just started a few weeks ago and this explains so much about why it isn't sounding right! I can use my entire arm instead of my wrist!

I like using the round ends of the pic to make contact with the strings it's a smoother transition it really all depends on what type of music I'm playing how you hold it what type of paint what type of guitar what type of amplifier a bunch of goodies yeah like turn the pit perpendicular to the strings and the more of an aggressive the easier it is for the pic to glide across the strings thanks Steve Stein hey matches I'm a poet and don't know it you're a greatness is rubbing off Steve 😂 thanks again

This adjustment will certainly improve my playing. Being self-taught, I’m relearning a few things…Thank you!

The end result can also be achieved when you grip the pick so that the tip of your index finger to the first knuckle is (somewhat) parallel to the fretboard instead of it making a 90 degree angle like right here. Is there any major difference between the two ways?

I hold it with italian hands, othwrwise it's very uncomfortable. I can't play anything using this "correct" method. Is it worth forcing myself to do it like you or is it okay if I can already better the way I do?

Hi. Picking technique is very personal to every player. If it works for you the way you are doing it that totally fine. Thanks so much for your comment! Did you know the Golden Ticket is now available? This once per year event is only available for Black Friday and you can still get it here guitarzoom.com/goldenticket/earlybird/promo

I've been practicing strumming and I like your tip! When I curl my finger, the sides of the pointy end end up almost at a 45 angle, is that okay if it's comfortable and effective for sound?

Hi. Yes absolutely! If it works for you and the sound is good go for it! Just make sure the pick doesn't slide too much off the strings and affects the sound. Thanks for commenting and keep up the good work!
