When I saw Tasha in this wig I immediately had to click lmao. I think Daemon is misunderstood because people think that he is purely antagonistic towards Viserys and Rhaenyra instead of being somewhere more in the middle. I think he wanted to provoke his brother to get him to talk but when Otto showed up instead, he opted to fight but then Rhaenyra showed up too. I genuinely think he lied so he could get them to come. He specifically took the egg that was chosen for Prince Baelon but we know that Mysaria wasn't even pregnant. Otto knew Daemon probably wanted to speak with Viserys in private but he told him to stay. Daemon is not a pure-hearted person but he is Pro Targaryen. I think all the main players want their blood in the throne, Daemon, Corlys, and Otto.
Yep, Daemon is misunderstood, because even in this episode he just wanted Viserys to visit him lmao and he gave Rhaenyra that egg as soon as she told him. And Daemon lied about Mysaria's pregnancy and the wedding to provoke his brother
Exactly. Daemon cares about his family but is also impulsive at times and has been pushed aside by people trying to take advantage of the king. Daemon believes the following things: - The King is Weak - True - The King struggles to make difficult decisions and relies on others to do it. - True - The Council preys on the King's weakness for their own goals. - True - Daemon loves his family and wants to protect them. - Probably True. Outside of occasional petulance to get his brother's attention, all evidence we have seen of him shows him to care about his family. Got the necklace for Rhaenyra. Told Rhaenyra to support her father during the funeral so that, emotionally his brother would get through the pain. Was ready to fight Otto Hightower because he sees him as a snake but when Rhaenyra arrives, he immediately gives away the egg and doesn't even look annoyed by her (in fact he looked happy to see her as she's his family). I think the only real evidence of action by Daemon against his family was him stating that Baelon was "Heir for a day". However, we never got the context of what he fully said since it was Otto Hightower who reported the information to the king. It could have been "my nephew was heir for a day. Far too short a time. A toast, may he live like royalty in the light of the seven." or something like that. However, when challenged by the king, Daemon I think he would have felt insulted that the king would even believe that's how he felt and in an act of petulance just tell the king whatever. IE: You'll never believe me while that snake is whispering in your ear so fuck it. Overall, I think Daemon does care but is childish and rash at times.
I love Rhaenys conversation with Rhaenyra. After thinking about it, she, and her husband, were trying to help Rhaenyra. Viserys would be officially married to Laena, but wouldn't be able to touch her for another four to six years. There would be no other children during those years, no competing heirs, plenty of time for the heir to cement her position. An alliance between the Valaryons and Targaryens would have been for the best, but...we all see how that went.
The time jumps have to happen because the writers gotta pack like 20 years of backstory into the first season. It funny because the writing still doesn’t feel rushed.
I just noticed Viserys said “I wish to not make us estranged” meaning he doesn’t want them to grow distant bc he about to wife up her best friend 🤣 This shit got way more burns then GOT.
The book was already written and Corys Valeron was white they decided to make this family black with Targaren blood. I think its makes sense because southern islands ppl have more melanin. It just happened that Corys in the books set his daughter up at that age, so its not intentional the black man is set up to be the bad guy. Im glad they did make the Valerons a black house even so.
Being awhile, but I think in the books describe the Valerions had a darker skin with white hair while Thargyen had white pale skin with silver blondes hair. The author try to describe them as foreign/outsiders for Westeros peoples, a foreign rulers indeed. 😁

This is what she is trying to 'HIP' her niece too. You can see it even in the 'REACTIONS' of WOMEN of OUR time to Queen Aemma's death... even women are calling it a 'death in childbirth' when in fact her husband literally gave his permission to KILL HER!

I already knew it was coming but its still gross so obviously ppl would react confused and shocked
Tasha love your white hair or should I say Dani? Tell Trey to dress like Drogo… lol I love y’all’s reactions. I know they aren’t going to be around for another 200 years.
You know it’s fucked up too cause that was like the first talk Rahenrya and her dad had talked in a minute then the next day your getting married to her best friend😂
Tasha were you get that hair from gurl? 😂 love the reaction as always
Ohhh shit!!!! I see you Tasha!!!!!! You too Trey…. Yessssss👸🏾👑👸🏾👑👸🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
🤣😂😂 Love y'all AS USUAL
I love Tasha commentary. Started watching the channel because of the in depth analysis of AOT. Love this reaction.
I think you both will like a series called See. Check out the trailer and see if you would find it interesting
Episode 3 will be a time jump of about 2-3 years.
President Tasha Washington in da House
Come thru with the cosplay yassss! Tasha bout this HOTD!
I BID YOU GOOD MORROW MY KING & QUEEN.
I WISH YOU GOOD FORTUNE IN THE WARS TO COME.
The wig 😍 🤣😂
It's the platinum hair for me!!
The writers said we gone give yall time skips since everyone hated it in those few seasons of thrones, I feel to show that it ain't really matter 🤔🤷♂️
I think we miss the point... it would not have mattered if MOM openly objected, her husband has the final SAY and even if it meant she never spoke to him again or 'respected' him again, she would not stop the _wedding_ or even his _sexual advances_ towards her. This is what she is trying to 'HIP' her niece too. You can see it even in the 'REACTIONS' of WOMEN of OUR time to Queen Aemma's death... even women are calling it a 'death in childbirth' when in fact her husband literally gave his permission to KILL HER!
They did that in real life too
I LOVE YALL!!! LOL
Yoooooooo I love that Lil girl she pulled up on his ass like you got that yeah me 2 everybody meet Mr m2! He's dragon got Quiet like ok yeah that pull up was dope let me fall back
Tasha is killing💯💯👌💯💯 the reaction with the white Targaryen wig on
Iconic wig moment
I like your commentary. Please work on the getting the window of the show clearer. See you next week👍
What? The window is that way for a reason. The reason they don't show the entire episode here, is the same reason the window is not clear. They know what they need to do to prevent copywriter strikes and continue to bring us quality, entertaining, free content. The window is plenty large and clear enough to give the viewers an idea of where they are in the episode. It's not meant for us to watch the whole episode through them rather than paying a subscription.
Tasha u gotta relax with that hair piece lol, good content as always lol
