Awesome, thank you, deeply appreciated!
A strumming FX would be very dope but with some strumm options. Thank you for the pack. I probably will make a Video of that. Thanks.
Yes, we need strumming options! The Ripchord offers some flexibility in this regard.
This is so helpful, thank you
You're so welcome!
Yesssssssssss I’m HERE
Finally!
Thank you these are helping me learn to play chords
I'm really glad to hear that! People often talking about chord presets as a way of cheating. But this is actually a very good way of learning how to play chords and learn music theory!
@@MusicianParadise
I think a lot of people are upset that you don't have to spend years learning to make music and that the gap is closing.
@@TeddyCruxpin Exactly! Technology always wins - people were complaining about computers, internet and every innovation since the beginning of time. But the only thing that matters is the music we are making with those tools!
The one youtuber that gets a like at the beginning of the vid.

Haha, thanks for a kind words! It feels awesome to get the like at the beginning of the video!!!
Thanks!

Question- are you using MPC software to run Ripchord? I have MPC Livce ll, FL studio, The latest Ripchord, a Focusrite Solo, and Alesis keyboard. I want to record into the MPC. I'm stuck, and I know I'm missing something simple. 🙁
@@RedCloudRoad I’m m using Ableton live and Ripchord. Ripchord is sending midi to the MPC live trough audio/midi interface.
@@RedCloudRoad No, I'm using Ableton Live running Ripchord.I'm triggering Ripchord from my MIDI kb Ripchord sending MIDI to the MPC Live throug my audio/MIDI interface.
I did it!!! I got it to work !!
Nice one!!!
Thanks!
May you live long. And never worry!
Haha, I'll try!

Thank you so much. 💓

realy nice 🔥🔥

❤Thank you
You're welcome!
Always love your work…..question how are you triggering the chords with only one key? Thanks
I'm explaining that at the beginning of the video - I'm using MPC as a sound source but II triggering the chords using free VST Ripchord running on my computer. So, my midi keyboard triggering Ripchord keys with the chords assigned to every key , then Ripchord sending MIDI into my MPC Live. But the best part is this - you can trigger any VST synth or sampler plugin inside of your DAW, so you don't need an expensive hardware. Here is my video about Ripchord:
ua-cam.com/video/Fi24_99kxk4/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for these files, I use them every day with my MPC Live Mk1. That I'm still learning to use.
Question:
When placing the chord progression files in the progression folder. Do they need to be out in the progression folder, or can they be in a folder of their own?
I did some experiments some time ago - and at the time it was OK to have folders since those folders placed inside of the "Progressions" folder. In my opinion this is not helping to keep things organised, just because in the pad preform menu will be no folders. This is why, starting from my "Trap" chord progressions pack I started to use the category feature in the titles of my Chord Packs - so, now my different packs appears as separate menu category in the pad perform menu, which is convenient. I’ve asked Andy Mack from Akai about adding a strum feature. He said he will talk with his team about it. Heard nothing back!!
We have to insist as a community! MPC software has feature suggestion button, if enough people will request the strum feature AKAI will do the job. Having such beautiful sounding keyboard plugin as the Fabric XL and don't provide at least some strumming options in for the pad perform feature? Shame!

@@MusicianParadise and thank you for that!
Hey this is awesome!!!! Question, how do I install these into ripchord? I've been having lots of trouble with that. Can you help me please?
Go to the cog wheel icon located at the top right of the Ripchord interface. From there, choose "Import a preset file/s". Then, locate the downloaded folder with the Ripchord presets, select all the presets, and press open.
Alternatively, you can find the "Presets" folder on your hard drive and place the Ripchord presets there:
MAC:
~/Library/Application Support/Trackbout/Ripchord/Presets
Windows:
C:\Users(user)\AppData\Roaming\Trackbout\Ripchord\Presets\
I hope Ripchord updates the way presets are organized and better yet more options to search presets.
the latest Ripchord update brought the preset tagging feature, it allows user to attribute tags to the presets in a great variety of ways, I did a video about this:
ua-cam.com/video/5tiTSqTKA3w/v-deo.html
If you have an idea how to make the preset organizing better, please let me know, I can speak directly to the Ripchord creators (Trackbout)!
@@MusicianParadise I think I completely overlooked that feature. lol Thank you! I have some learning to do.
I do wish the way the presets window was more like the way U-He Repro or Diva display their presets. It would be nice to see the names and sub categories/tags or whatever in one window without the large rectangular boxes that take up a lot of space.
Hi New MPC Live User. Do you have a in depth video on how to get midi keyboard to trigger MPC live II, while connected to Mac. Im using a Focusite Clarett 8 pre which is connected to a patch bay.
The simplest approach is to connect your MIDI keyboard directly to the MPC. However, the best method varies based on the desired outcome from the connections. There are too many variables to provide a satisfying answer.
This sounds so great great but I'm unsure of which files I need to download (Cthulhu, Pad Perform, Ripchord, or X Scaler, etc.) from your website as I'm new to the MPC One. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
If you on MPC One use Pad Perform files. Here a short videos about installing th files into hardware MPC and the MPC Software

Let me know if you succeeded!
@@MusicianParadise I don’t have the software as my computer won’t run it, OS too old, lol. Can I still use on MPC?
@@jransomtucker yes, of course!

Hello, love the chords but it's not downloading to my MPC one. I followed the tutorial you made, but something isn't allowing me to download. Does it must have a specific file name. I did the Progressions folder as well. Need help thanks
Hello! My first question is: were you able to download the files to your computer from the landing page?
If the answer is yes, the second question is: do you understand how those files are supposed to work? Assuming the "Progressions" folder is correctly named and placed at the root of the SD card or USB drive connected to your MPC, those files can only be accessed through the Pad Perform feature. They are neither MIDI nor audio files.
To access the Pad Perform feature, do the following:
1. In the MPC software navigate to the Track Inspector and activate the Keygroup or the Plugin Tab. Ensure that the Keygroup or Plugin is open on the track, as otherwise the chord progressions will not be audible.
2. Go to the “Pad Perform“ tab and change Type to “progressions”
3. Go to “progressions” tab (the last tab). The newly installed chord progressions will appear under the category "Other,” or you might find a new category.
4. Select a progression from the list and play the chords on your MPC pads.
Please let me know if you were successful. I am happy to provide assistance in case of any problems!
would be cool if you had a guitar voicing pack
Yes, I'm planning to do that, this is a great idea, stay tuned!
I have a question ? When I load the chords into my Akai Force & play the cords they dont play in sequence , is there a setting I need to change? Any advice will be much appreciated.
Those chords don't have any sequence data - you have to perform the sequence on the pads of your AKAI Force when in pad perform mode (note mode on Force if I remember correctly). Of course, you can record the chord's you are playing. Also this way you can experiment with the different pad order, so from just one preset you can come up with multiple chord progressions! Hope this helps!
@@MusicianParadiseThanks ! I Really appreciate the help!
@@dtlaking333 you’re welcome!
Is there a midi version of these files available?
The MIDI files for this chord pack are available to my Patrons on Patreon, along with twice as many chord progressions!
how is that mpc and ripchord configured?
Ripchord VST running on my computer an a DAW and sending the MIDI via audio-MIDI interface by standard MIDI cable into MPC. The MIDI keyboard connected to the computer via USB.
Is there a way to get midi to be read inside of the MPC
There’s already .progression files to use directly in the MPC using the Pad Perform feature
@@MusicianParadise I'm sorry I meant is there a way for Rip chord to record the chords directly to MPC (instead of just one note)? I'm familiar with the Pad Perform Feature but like you, I'd like to have more control over the features like strum, transpose, etc. In real time
@@DarrinNoNAME the only way to record Ripchord into the MPC is to use computer with the midi interface, so you’ll record midi from Ripchord In to your MPC midi in. Alternatively, record MIDI from the Ripchord on the midi track in your DAW and export as a midi file. Transfer the exported midi into the MPC sequence.
No Wav one shots of these chords? I'd pay
No, but you can use free VST Ripchord and trigger the chords from any VST/AYU or eve real instrument by MIDI. Maybe sometime down the line I'll make a sample pack!
Does anyone know if there is any mobile app that can use these files?
To my knowledge there is no mobile app available for these files. However, it would be amazing to be able to use these chords on a mobile device.
@@MusicianParadise too bad😢, the chords are one more beautiful than the other, you could do a lot with them. Do you also have midi files with these chords?

@@MusicianParadise I will take a look, thanks🙌
importing the presets into ripchord just crashes ableton everytime
That seems strange - this is the first report I've ever received about crashes on import. could you let me know what operating system you're using? Here's what I suggest: Firstly, make sure you're only exporting the Ripchord presets, not any other formats. Try placing the preset files into the Ripchord "Presets" folder first (Trackbout - Presets), and then open Ableton Live and Ripchord. Please let me know if this works.
