The part when you said you’re from Maine - I got so excited because I’m an artist from Maine too!!!! Thanks for this video! You make craft shows seem way less intimidating. Very helpful :)
I’m new at this and can’t even fathom how one can make so many prints and have all the resources 😕 I may not be ready this year. But your video gives me hope
Wonderful to hear! I'm doing a free workshop tomorrow on how to sell at shows if you want to join: tracylizottestudios.ck.page/932ad23d2b and if you want to work with me directly and learn how to sell your art check out the Seller's Studio. Hey I am doing my first show next weekend. Can you please tell me how you did your fabric over your walls? I have a 10x10 Kemya tent. I love the fabric look. Thanks
Tracy Lizotte Studios thank you! I visit the three rivers festival every year but I have not had a booth in it yet! I am planning to apply for their scholarship to be in the festival next year!
Omigosh, a lot of work for one person! Well done and beautiful set up! To avoid those burlap creases, maybe you could roll the burlap around large cardboard or plastic tubes instead of folding them. Just a thought.
Thank you for sharing a video like this! Your artwork is beautiful! I'm an artist, and it really inspires me to get out there and do more! Thanks again!!!
I have been looking high and low for those photo displays you have in the center (the white one where you stack multiple photos). I am not sure how to search for those. Can you help me find some?
I like your layout better than others I have seen. I am a retired fellow, painting and sculpting has always been a side hobby most of my life, but now that I am retired I am going to focus more on it. When you do a 2 or 3 day show, do you leave your art inside the tent overnight? This is something I think about. Thank you Tim
It depends on the show and the security. I always tell artists do what will allow you to sleep at night. If you leave your art in your booth and can't sleep because you are worried then it's not worth leaving up.
@@TracyLizotteStudios Thank you for your reply, and I agree with you. Sometimes it's not only about security, but what if a bad storm should happen overnight. No matter how good the tent is, it's still a tent. I am excited, anxious, and scared, but I hope to start doing shows this summer.
Thank you so much for posting this! I am just getting started with craft fairs this year. May I ask you where you got your banner made?? I love the metal/chain look instead of using vinyl!
@@TracyLizotteStudios we engrave on wood. instagram.com/dabbledesignsltd I love your set up and for the most part our pieces are fairly light for hanging. I'd like to know a little more about how you do yours in the video. Currently were using a grid wall but it's just very tacky in my opinion.

I am going to be selling/showing at my first market on Friday. Needless to say, I am studying your video for ideas :-D. It's a night time market, so my biggest worry is lights... Any recommendations in that area? They will need to be battery powered as there will not be a source for me.
My only question is how are you hanging the art to the walls? I have an art show coming up and have no clue how I’m going to get my art to hang on the walls of our 10x10 canopy
I've been doing this for 30 years and that has never happened to me, but I've seen it happen to plenty of artists. You just need to know how to prepare for bad weather and it can be avoided.
Hi Margaret I had to sew the burlap so that it velcro around the walls I hang my art on. You can make fabric coverings for any walls to any canopy if you are willing to make them yourself. I made these walls over 16 years ago before coverings were available to buy. If I had to do it again I would buy the fireproof display coverings made for coving the mesh walls. They are easier to set up and fire Marshall approved.
Hello! I know this is a 4-year-old video, but how does the booth parts are packed? Are they loose in a box or dose they come in a bag? Also if you can possibly direct me to where you got the large print displays on the middle table, I've been looking for years. I'd appreciate your insight if you're still active, thanks!

I am also in Maine. I own Sider's Woodcrafting and I am seriously considering purchasing a trimline 10x10/10x20 combo tent. On average, how long does it take to setup just the tent.
Great Booth! You mentioned that you use regular curtain hooks, are those going right into the burlap material to hold the pictures? They obviously seem to hold the weight of the pictures, but is there a size or weight limit with those? Again a great-looking booth.
@@TracyLizotteStudios Thank you, Tracy! Yeah, I think the burlap was a great idea for decoration, looks great! I probably could have looked a little closer to see that you were actually being held up by the mesh panels behind it. I'll check out your website for more ideas. All the best and thanks again!
I watched your set up video & it was no help at all. How did you hang your artwork? What did you use? You said you got your hooks at Walmart but you didn’t show them or how you hang them. How did you attach them to the burlap?
Hi Susan you didn't offend at all. 😃 I was surprised by the question because I specialize in teaching how to create your own original designs with drawing and hand painting with watercolors. I am curious to why you asked if I used AI for prints? Is it something you are thinking of doing? It's definitely a way to go now that it's available to everyone, and there's nothing wrong with using it as long as you disclose it in your marketing and make sure the AI you use isn't stealing designs or the essence of a piece of art from another artist on the internet.
Best I have ever seen! Very original!
Thank you!
