JoJo has by far the best international arcs in anime which, to be fair, makes sense since the mangaka personally visited and researched every location in person before writing about them.
@@phantaonYT Horikoshi’s handling of the story can awful. Kept flip flopping Izuku’s character development. One moment he’s a bamf , the next he regresses back into a nervous bundle of sticks. The second Izuku got OFA, he hardly ever brought up the 11 years of suffering from being Quirkless. Real quick to write off his past
I have a lot of problems with that arc as well as MHA in general. From what I recall first they're talking about the strongest hero in America and then whoopdy do Shigaraki decides it'd be a great time to visit and then following that the same character that had received so much hype by being called the strongest character in America gets used a sacrificial one off plot device as an excuse to nerf Shigaraki, and then he returns back to Japan and it seems like America and the rest of the world just forgot everything happened.
@@averyadkins9600 Shigaraki knew she was coming, so he intercepted her on the flight there with a nomu. Rest of the world forgetting is kinda eh, cause at that point it doesn't really matter. Story explains that AFO used his connections to stir up trouble in every single country that could've sent help, so they're too busy with civil problems to care or even react meaningfully, though we did get the data from Star's fight with Shiggy onscreen so thats something. I agree with the plot device problem though, but it was inevitable since Horikoshi created another Yhwach/Madara, someone so completely broken and powerful they couldn't be defeated or brought down without an asspull or deus ex of unrivalled proportions.

I had a short section in about JoJo but I ended up cutting it. May release a full video about it. Thanks for watching!
I caught with Sakamoto Days, where the international arc hinted ?
great thumbnail
what was the MHA International Arc? i thought it was just Star v ShigFO
The movie arcs in MHA are international
Shaman King has complete bangers for openings
International assassinations did it well since other countries were important from the beginning like Russia and America.
My Hero Academia can sometimes have trash world building
I agree! Thanks for watching!

@@averyadkins9600 Pretty much. Hori decided for all the nations to take a L & let Japan handle its own problems
