always wondered what happened to this game
chainsaw man is falling hard in Japan because the japanese fans are not liking PART 2 like we are liking in this side western part. Spy x Family and Chainsaw are in another Jump not the weekly jump magazine so yeah. The weekly is pretty much screwed because Kagurabachi is not a a real certain that is gonna be pilar and even if he becomes Jump need more 2 success. Sakamoto still have a chance will see what it happens
Is madara past ten years

🔥🔥🔥
pretty neat video. i'm glad you gave yu-gi-oh its flowers. as for sao, although i would count myself among those who dislike the series, there is no doubt that its popularity in the early/mid 2010s is what lead to the isekai boom that we are now still experiencing.
your shit is dope man, real high quality especially for the size of your channel
The only spark I need in my life is you but in a platonic way for sure
The merger equivalent in Naruto is the Infinite Tsukuyomi not Kayuga’s white zetsu thing. It was built up as the main villain’s ultimate goal for mad long but there was pay off cus we actually saw it. Now I don’t think jjk had to do the same thing nor do I think it was likely to happen but Naruto shouldn’t be in the same category as jjk or bleach in that regard
its nothing like unity, it looks like a modern game interpretation of RPG maker to me. and yes i use unity..... i hate it xD
woke up to a phanta upload
You have plenty of great manga ready to replace the previous series. A few I can think of are kagurabachi, sakamoto days, and my personal favorite dandadan. You also have spy family and undead unluck continuing. I believe when one era ends, there will always be new manga ready to step up.
If "what reform should look like" was a major theme, the proposal is an axe to the face of the powers how stiffly progress. Be they the the three great clans or the heads of Jiujiutsu society, kill the past. Explicitly because they're continued rule allowed for the creation of the Culling Game, Shibiya Incident and even the Parade of One thousand Curses
Great vid, keep going biggest of bros
Evangelian may be more influential, but Ghost In The Shell is better. I’d even argue that at the time it was more influential, but hasn’t maintained as much of a cult following.
J. Michael Tatum should be here just for the Erwin speech
I mostly agree with almost everything you said, so good job, but I have a small nitpick. Gojo vs Sukuna was peak when it was ongoing... but honestly if you go back and reread it there are quite a few head-scratching moments in there like: Sukuna doing ten shadow beast techniques himself? Summoning without hand signs? Gojo being able to shrink people inside his DE to the size of a basketball? Choso and Yuuji just casually admitting that they forgot to tell everyone Sukuna had an open domain? Sadly, it's not as peak as we remember...
Aot was in kodansha Isayama didnt agree to weekly shonnen jump of changing his story
Bleach shouldn't be part of big 3 Dragon ball is wayyy more popular than bleach although theres no story in dbz 😂
Dragon Ball ended before the big 3 even began. It is a part of a completely different generation of manga. The big 3 are the successors of Dragon Ball.
Gege made peak characters and dropped the ball with them Thats how jjk will be defined in 5 or 10 years I always wantes to see a normal human fighting sukuna which we will never get coz our boy killled toji
Technically not a normal human but I get what you mean. In that case though, there was maki even if for just a few chapters
Yes i agree with weekly shonnen jump Manga is a creative art and it needs proper ideas and ideas dont come in an orderly fashion Someday u can draw 20 to 30 pages other days u are struggling to draw even one for a month
Gege destroyed tojis character Same with yuki Same with geto Same with Mei Mei Same with shoko Same with utahime We dont get their backstory Toji could have reached kevel of sukuna or gojo had he have not been killled by gege No backstory on zenin clan No backstory of any other clan No backstory of sukuna and who was the first guy who got the sukuna curse Naruto covered all these things
Aot DS Jjk/opm These were always the successors of big 3 Now i can remove jjk My only last hope is one punch man
Thank you to everyone for watching! Tthis video could have easily been twice as long but I held back I don’t think anyone wanted to see a 40 min video on just the JJK ending (besides I mostly wanted to focus on Shonen Jump switching to biweekly more) but I feel the need to pin a comment with some extra clarifications on what i was talking about. 1. When I'm not talking about not enough sorcerers dying, I didn't say it in the video but I'm specifically talking about Takaba and Higuruma. They should've stayed dead, their deaths were perfect conclusions to both of their mini arcs. Them coming back for no real reason takes away from their arcs and in Takaba's case, just confuses the story. 2. The lack of permanent injuries/scars. I don't really have much to say on this one, as Shoko's powers are almost completely unexplained, so we don't know if its plausible for her to heal up everybody like she did. Gege is fine spending a chapter explaining domain barrier sizes or the ins and outs of New Shadow Style and how they select successors, but can't take a page or two to show Shoko healing up our heroes or even exactly how she heals compared to other indivduals in the series. If Shoko magically healing up everyone in presumably less than a few weeks is fine to you, then fine. But don't try to gaslight me and pretend its good writing or it makes sense. It doesn't. I will continue to add to this as more criticisms pop up.
Man you gotta rewatch because you actually missed on a lot of stuff here like Sukuna's kills and the survivor's injuries. Sukuna killed a lot more people such as Jogo and Kashimo, the people taken out in the fight were quickly taken to Shoko, and adding natural healing time on top of it is of course going to leave nothing but some scars and bad memories, it's Jujutsu. I think you rushed making this video tbh, or didnt care enough to reflect on the details of everything.
Sukuna only killed Kashimo, Gojo and Choso in the showdown. One totally irrelevant character, one super relevant plot important character and one semi-irrelevant character but beloved by the fans, respectively. Considering all the people who jumped him that is a low number. It did turn into Disney Kaisen at the end. Sukuna cycle was bad, repetitive, full of plot holes, contrivances and the worst arc in the series by far.
@@Chrysostomus_17 You were wrong when you called Kashimo irrelevant and it just kept getting worse from there… Sukuna and his fight was written amazingly and the ending WAS good and solidifies that fact. the only thing you genuinely could be starting an argument with is the sukuna cycle, but it truely was NOT as bad as you make it sound buddy. I think you need to reread because you’re clearly still stuck in the inbetween chapter brainrot and it shows by your focus on the cycle and ending. It really is just a good story. I know you’re trying to think otherwise.
@@kalamis4872 Listen I love Kashimo, but he was an irrelevant character loved by a tiny minority. If you remove him from the story nothing changes. And that's exactly what Kubo did to him. Dying in one a half chapters is pathetic and it shows his creator wanted to get rid of him as fast as possible. "Sukuna and his fight was written amazingly" Do you mean the Sukuna cycle here? Well, no it was a litany of forced contrivances and plot holes so bad that even Gege himself couldn't help himself but address the criticism in what is now considered the worst chapter of the entire work. "It really is just a good story." A good story does not leave 55% of its plot threads unanswered. You basically have to headcanon half of the story for it to make sense.
Gachi akuta will be boomed remember that 💥💥💥
dont stop making vids gang real shit 😭 most underrated channel rn
C'mon peeps! I have this on my front page, what about all of you? This is a sober and refreshing and fairly timely breakdown of JJK's ending and its potential significance.
At least to me, an anime newbie, it's weird how the weekly magazine post JJK is banking so much on the success of Kagurabachi and sorta Sakamoto Days to be hits while Jump + has been doing great in comparison: Spy x Family is obvious how big of a hit that's been, Chainsaw Man Part 2 has moved to Jump +, Kaiju no 8 has been going strong, Dadadan is already a massive hit and the first episode of its anime has had amazing reception, Choujin X is loved by Tokyo Ghoul fans and could get just as big if given a proper anime adaptation, Wild Strawberry feels like it could be a cult classic horror-action if handled properly, and Ruri Dragon feels like it could be the next cute girl anime to take over the internet (even more than it already has), and those are just the ones I'm familiar with, maybe this is a turning point in how digitally published manga are becoming just as big or bigger than manga published in weekly magazines (not to mention how the authors of Jump + manga often has more creative freedom and looser publishing schedules than the weekly magazine authors)
You should do one for best anime’s of the 80s
It’s honestly funny bc togashi (hunterxhunter) is the only author in shounen i put on the same level as oda so i can respect you choosing hxh since you havent caught up to one piece yet but yeah Oda and togashi are the kings of manga/anime that’s just what it is.
One piece king its lasting another 5,6 years easy plus everything that happens after it ends I mean it’s about pass Superman in sales that’s something even dragon ball never been able to do
I remember going to Suncoast videos back then every month to pick up the Berserk DVD....great times.
My dude, Ushio and Tora is a top tier anime and deserves more love. I recently have been going through manga by release year and watching the ones I'm into. Ushio and Tora has become one of the only ones that I finished. I tried sailor moon and couldn't get into it so I dropped the idea of watching it forever because I don't wanna watch half an anime. That doesn't make it bad so much as I just didn't enjoy it. Dear my best friend is a great song too.
Attack on Titan is from Weakly Shonen Magazine of Kodansha Not from Weekly Shonen Jump of Shuiesha
funky fresh fanta huh ?
Kinda shocked you didn't at least mention Martian Successor Nadesico from 1996. Cleverly written affectionate parody of mecha and space opera anime with a pretty decent OST. I'm also quite fond of the original Tenchi Muyo from 1992.
For a bit on the comment about European fantasy in anime at around 2:40, Japan's obsession with Tolkien influenced Fantasy shows is probably a mixture of romanticaization of European history and folklore common in Japan pop culture in the 70 and 80s alongside the huge boon that DnD 2 edition had in Japan. Which became its own genre as Japanese art and storytelling typically likes to build on itself.
If you think One Piece is ending in 2-3 years, you’re kidding yourself. That’s just how long Elbaf will take.
Seems too short, maybe Elbaf will be 5 years long
@@randomclouds4404 That's unrealistic. Oda wasn't willing to make even Wano that long.
@@adaurysantos I technically said that as a joke from how long the series is but I'll get back to you on that
@@randomclouds4404 Oh my bad I couldn't tell
the big 3 is a rotating term, and seems to refer to series still in action. you're looking at the big as the 3 saniin and something that wont change
Big 3 solely refers to One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach
@@adaurysantos no it does not anymore , just because it started as that doesn’t mean it’s at that
@@selfishbeats It does. The big 3 were the 3 manga that dominated Shonen Jump during the 2000's and saved it from bankruptcy after Dragon Ball ended. No other 3 manga will ever do that again. You can make your own headcanon on what the 3 most popular current manga are but that does not make them the big 3.
@ the new big 3 , that’s how people use it as a position not a thing nobody is thinking about bleach anymore.
@@selfishbeats The problem with "the new big 3" is that there no definitive one. Everyone has their own headcanon of what it is and constantly arguing about it. And I don't know what Bleach specifically has to do with this but it is one of the most popular anime right now and has inspired a vast majority of today's most popular manga.
I read the first two chapters of this particular series. It has a lot of promise to the point where I'm willing to give the series a continuation you never know this could actually do blow up but I'm not saying I don't agree with you what you're saying but this is how I feel about it like it does have potential and I will agree like the designs are not mind-blowingly crazy but they're good enough to work with
Boruto two blue Vortexx is fucking heat. I’ve been an anime only person my whole life but I loved Naruto so much I wanted to watch Boruto NNG but the anime kinda sucked so much filter so I just said fuck it watched a recap on Boruto and just started reading two blue vortex and I’m happy I did
The Origin of the Big 3 is probably due to Proto-weebs importing the concept of the Golden Trio. A semi-official marketing term used in the previous generation of Shonen Jump (Dragonball's for a framd of reference) to denote their three most popular titles usually shown by being constantly at the front page in marketing. This might be why the term, there will not be another Big Three also fits for some as One Piece can be said to have continued into not one but two new generations (even if its set to end in the current one) which kind of screwed over those who would have normally replaced it.
20:19 it wont get boosted much, the first season didnt boost it really, and each subsequent season will have less boost, the first season of csm was it's best opportunity
1:30 those stats arent even taking in account globalization, its coming from oricon so it's japan only
No gachiakuta 😢
Huh? That's neither a jump manga nor a new one...
the favorite manga of your favorite mangaka was devilman or maybe ring ni kakero
