And it looked like the upside down with all snow & particles in the end. it's all already gone now. el saved max & brought her back but vecna already won before that anyways. there's no other solution other than time travel. its all about time to be honest. vecna was all about time. and the writers teased that it's a mix of season 1 in the last season. which means time travel obv.

My theory: the demo-bats combine somehow and become a three-headed hydra killing many people as they did for Eddie season 4. Because will somehow convince will to become evil on his past life and how badly everyone treated him. Either will with turn on and kill vecna or eleven will somehow defeat him. I'm not sure about the rest but I feel strong about the demo-bats becoming a hydra as we never saw then fight demo-bats in a single d&d match.
