Thank you for this informative video. Is it a wise decision to do clinical attachment before starting a offline course for a PLAB 2 academy and PLAB 2? Or should I go for attachments after taking PLAB 2 exam?
Do you have any tips on how to approach the staff during CAs and be social and be more involved? I find im always too shy to ask and participate even though i want to 🥲 not sure how to aactually approach them
Just a polite and honest conversation with them should do the trick. Ask them if you could be considered for a certain job vacancy you think you’d be fit for. Have struggled with shyness myself. In the UK , I was initially tongue-tied coz I thought they’d make fun of my accent. Only to realise later that everyone has a different accent here and it really doesn’t matter. All the best!
Thank u so much for the information. This is really helpful. Can you tell me how did u switch ur visa from visit to tier2 after getting job?? Is it possible to change from UK or u had to go back to u r home country. Thanks in advance 🥰.
Hey. I don’t think we can switch. We have to apply to a tier 2 visa separately. I had to return to my country for the first time I applied for tier 2. But when I applied this year for my training tier 2 visa, I could do that from the UK using my BRP card.
We can get tb testing from authorised centres in India right? Also, in the UK are the HR and concerned people approachable like here in india? Can we walk in and hand a cv to the concerned person or is it always through mail?Your videos have been very helpful in guiding us through the whole plan process.. Thanks a lot for these..
About the TB testing, Indian centres are valid for work purpose as it gets verified by the embassy but for the clinical attachment, they definitely do a separate test (IGRA) if the BCG scar is visible. Else, they just have a look at the BCG Scar and make you fill the health n TB checklist. About the CV, It's much easier to. Send via mail. I have been to the HR's office as well but they are rarely there as most of them work from their homes. Aye, thanks. I'm glad you found the videos helpful. ☺️ Good luck.
Please make a video on Epic Verification. So where does the verification comes to like..Grant Medical College(one's college )or MUHS university in Nashik?? Where we have to follow it, exactly In college or university
Sure, I'm on it. The mail for EPIC verification goes to the college (Grant Med College in our case). You can follow up with the Acad section regarding this.
@@MumtazKeh AUSTRALIA(AMC) IS GOOD OPTION PAY IS ALSO AWESOME PLAB IS JUST LIKE RMO IN INDIA and Pay is around 3lakh/month..that is not atall sufficent for city like Manchester...
@doctorondutyvlogs it's working out fine for me so far. But yes, it could be a little difficult with family I guess. However, if you watch Manik Madaan' s video, you'll be able to compare the salary and work life balance between USA and UK. Hope it helps. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/kfLqfSH1ouo/v-deo.html

Completely as per your convenience. As per my experience, people generally enjoy the CAs more once they’re done with the exam.
@@MumtazKeh thank you so much 😇
Keep up the good work going 👍

Thanks a lot for this information, can you provide me with a way how to contact a consultant at UHL as i couldn’t find any way, thank you
You can mail their secretaries, and you should be able get their mail addresses on the website.

Hi. How is it possible to do procedures in attachment? We are not allowed to touch patients
You can perform the procedures under supervision.
Is this necessary to get license from medical college to write ukmla?
Do we need ro pay to get a clinical attachment or do we get paid anything?
Most of these are free, some of them cost around £150, none of them pay you.
wow
do we need to pay for occupational health tests done?
Unfortunately, yes. It costs £150 for the OH appointment.

How long did it take for you to get a job nhs?
I start sending applications religiously by the middle of March and got my first job in the first week of May. So a lil less than 1.5 months.
How to even get the attachment is another big hurdle
Try mailing the HRs from the hospital websites.
How are u this cute😊😊
But why NHS. this job can BE done in USA n
Right. It pretty much holds true for both the countries. But I'm USA, the recruiting is through the match process not via direct interviews.
