    There are multiple ways of building a cv.
    But what are the most efficient ways of building a good cv in your home country ?

    Hello, great video! I haven't written the plab exams yet, but I'm booked for plab 1 currently. I only have one year of internship which I completed in 2021 so I'm very insecure about applying for jobs after GMC registration.
    I dont know if i should go for the fy2 standalone or a junior doctor position.
    Please what do you think?

    Is there any institute that offers ILS by Resus UK course remotely? OR you must be physically present in the UK to complete this course?
    Please guide in this regard.

    Let me real with all of you, for 9 out of 10 of us listening to this, none of this advise is going to help. I have 4 years post-graduation experience in various branches of medicine, ALS certificate, NHS clinical attachment experience, multiple small courses, teaching experience etc. I have been applying for 10 months now, and I got only one single interview out of 300+ applications. I closely follow Person specification in every application and I have even attended a few courses on how to make my CV better.
    So, neither ALS nor CPD points are going to help you honestly. That is because unfortunately they have allowed simply too many IMG doctors to get their GMC registration without any plan to employ them afterwards, unless you have someone within some institution to help you out.
    That is the reality, so if you are even thinking of coming to the UK as a medical doctor, my advice is to think twice, because it is going to be a truly awful experience.

    Is it a good idea to do post grad in UK thru plab, and come back to India, also what are the chances of someone landing a pg course after passing both plab 1 and 2, thank you.

    • @UKDreamers
      @UKDreamers  10 місяців тому

      the postgraduation in UK is also a national recruitment process. you apply for the specialties you want to train in, every specialty has its own format, interviews / exams.
      CCT from UK is recognised in India as additional qualification so you can work as well.

    I got full registration almost a year ago, not shortlisted even once. I got ALS, BSS, close to 100 CPD points, formal teacher training, clinical attachment at NHS, international presentation, local presentations, 5 audits/presentations at NHS, teaching at NHS, resat OET(previous one expired), 5 years of exp after the F1 year in A&E in my home country, managerial role history, medical school prize, voluntary work and some other stuff. I have been applying for ALL the F1 and F2 jobs all over the UK without distinction because ST level jobs require MRCS/MRCP(at least part A) and usually some other courses as essential criteria. So I guess I should take ATLS and USG courses and sit MRCP/MRCS and apply for those jobs ?

      You cannot work till you get your gmc as a doctor.

      Unfortunately, there are not any medical jobs that can done with plab 1 alone.

    Do GMC accepts the year 6th as an internship or housejob from Ukrainian medical schools? Or one needs to complete one year internship after graduating from Ukraine
