I loved Rosie O'Donnell as a talk show host who focused on her guests and their projects, just like she did in this video. She had a knack for being warm, friendly, supportive, personable, encouraging, and kind. Notwithstanding the flag in my profile pic, I'm an "unenrolled" voter who goes both ways, but I keep that stuff to myself in real life. I only wish Rosie had done the same, but instead she became argumentative, bullying, vitriolic, and hateful. I truly believe her "handlers" encouraged her to be this way, because I've had relatives in "the business" and I know that they serve an evil master. It's a shame that the price of fame, in Hollywood, apparently is so evil and dark. I'll be so glad when the general public learns more about what really goes on there, how it's run, and how filthy it is. Then it can be rebuilt, and talk show hosts can be as wonderful as Rosie was back in the day.

Actually as a woman from Ireland, Sinead did not lose anything, her true fans knew and realised that she spoke the truth, especially when it came to the Catholic Church

Great interview with Sinead. I'm a new Sinead fan... all of 3 weeks now and surprised she mentions ABBA as i'm a long time ABBA fan. And being a huge ABBA fan I was also surprised when I discovered Sinead did an ABBA cover of 'Chiquitita'.
l love how poised she is. So many have the mis-conception that if you have strong opinions & ideas, like Sinead, you must be some kooky banshee with no class. Shes proof we as women are capable of both, so lovely!
At 14/15 I shaved my head because she gave me the confidence to shave it. She also taught me to honestly not give a shite what others think and to always speak the truth regardless if people like it or not.

She played that album all the time. When Sinead came out with her version of Nothing Compares to You, I did not recognize it. My friend reminded me. She asked me "Remember that album with Wendy's sister on the cover?" She said that's the song she's doing.

I have nothing but respect for this strong woman. There wasn't a fake bone in her body. A true activist for the children of this world. She risked everything-her career and even her life to try to save the children from horrific abuse. As far as I'm concerned she deserves sainthood!
There is an easygoing flow to the interview which is refreshing given the turmoil, emotions and political fierceness which Sinead is often associated with.

She said in an interview with Ruby Wax that she wasn’t bipolar. It was a label stuck on her by Ireland’s backward mental health practitioners.
I loved when Rosie said, “Frankly, we’re not gonna room together.” Sinead got a kick out of it, lots of sweet moments throughout the interview.
