I was really taken back how " non challant" Natalie was about the statement she made about Rob having died and it just seemed so cold and plastic like it was no big deal this incredible person who was paramount in her decision (s) about being in the music industry was dead...maybe it had to do actually about the editing of the interview...I love her music and hope she has a long, inspiring career in the years to come.

I am taken aback by the fact that you were taken aback 🙂
Natalie merely answered the question by explaining that a key member of 10,000 Maniacs is no longer with us and therefore the band would not be reforming. And it didn't come across as cold or plastic to me at all.
But we share a love for her music so it's all good 👍

Nothing pretentious about Natalie. She’s dressed as an everyday person and rode the subway. I’m sure folks in the record industry tried to get her to spice things up in the 80’s and 90’s but you never saw her go out on stage half naked. Hard to believe our beautiful Natalie is now 60 years old. Wonder is one of the best songs of all time.
