The Statute of Limitations applies to the timeline authorities have to charge someone. Since Mike had already been charged and sentenced, it didn't apply. It's like the people who are charged and run off and hide for years before they're caught. Because they were already charged, they can still be tried and sentenced.

I knew someone who worked as a guard in a county jail. He began bullying the inmates and throwing away the items their families gave them. A day before he was fired, he was asked why he did this. And his exact answer was, "They're animals in here. They're not people anymore. So, I'm treating them as they should be." And for his response and for his actions, he was fired on the spot.

I met a former inmate from the UK. Apparently they really do rehabilitate inmates where we just incarcerate without rehabilitation.

when i was still living at home with my parents i asked my dad when he went to the store if he would get me some plain BRAN flakes, NO raisins. this man gonna home with a box of EXTRA RAISON bran, that cereal had more raisons that bran flakes 😂

For the second story , what i don't get is why was the police was waiting for them at the house, like they did something but ended up letting them go saying it was just a family matter. Then the media flocking and staying around trying to get interviews like something huge happened. I think there a part of the story that's being kept a secret. Not by Mr Ballen but by the family or police. Something is just off about it
