Same. Like, I get it if the person either doesn't have any reaction at all (just watches the video in silence and adds nothing but an intro/outro) or if they're not paying any attention to the video itself and just chatting with each other/chat/whatever (in which case it's not so much a reaction as just chatting with a video playing in the background), but engaging with the video is kind of...you know...the entire freaking point of reaction videos. Reacting.
Especially for videos like MrBallen's that tend to tell stories while leaving things mysterious until late in the video, if you either pause it to discuss things or take notes and hold a discussion afterwards I think that's probably the best way to handle it since it allows you to make sure you talk about everything you notice before the big reveal. That way you don't get caught up in the reveal and forget to talk about something that caught your attention earlier. I don't think I've seen a single reaction to one of his videos where people DIDN'T pause and discuss what they thought was going on throughout the video.

Honestly. I’d rather someone stop a video and share their thoughts than to just talk while the video is playing and missing everything. People should also be grateful they’re not the type of stops the video every minute lol.
The Byford Dolphin accident was truly horrific and there are photos of the Norwegian diver who got sucked through the hatch and the remains of him in these photos look like mincemeat that's went through a blender

It is not true that they all exploded in the last story; the bodies of the three guys who were in the main chambers were undamaged and appeared perfectly normal, but there was extensive inside damage; essentially, their blood heated up so quickly that fat boiled into their veins, instantly killing them.
