Not just for sport bikes. I'm lifting my thunderbird on pit bull stands. One thing I do is put a 2x4 under the kickstand so the bike is almost upright before I lift or lower it. Makes it a lot easier with heavier bikes.
@bblando65 with the older stands the ergo design made that a simple thing to do, and I did the same thing as I had total control of the bike. Now the longer handles changed the leverage making that quite difficult to do. Dave Moss Host
