You say that it was Thawn that pushed Barry over and knocked him unconscious, but that doesn't make sense. The colour of the lightening of speedster that knocked him over was red and Thawn/Reverse Flash's lightening is yellow. Also it wasn't the Reverse Flash that brought him to this time line. Reverse Flash wouldn't want Barry there. I think we're going to learn more about this day in the next few episodes. I don't think the full truth of everything that happens on this day has actually been seen yet. Edited Just realised I've been completely wrong about this I always thought the colour of the suits matched their outfits, but no. Barry has yellow and Eobard Thawn/Reverse Flash does in fact have red lightning. Oops. My bad. Then again I hadn't watched it for a while. It does make me wonder if knocking Barry down was deliberate or accidental and what the real reason would be if it was intentional.
It already sound like Stein did not even believe in time travelling theories because he did not buy into any time travelling stories. I take it Stein at that time period never even experience time travelling himself and also did not become Firestorm. As time passes, then Stein eventually believes in time travel.

This can be a situation where in order to convince Stein time travel exists, telling him directly in this time period don't work. It has to be showing him to convince him.

So this timeline Barry went to in 2000 would have to be before everything got started. For example, before Stein became a Legend and before being Firestorm. Before Wells become Timeless Wells. Anyone else got an excited feeling from seeing Henry Allen again? Because I did and I liked it. Especially since Cobalt Blue brought Barry to 2000, which ironically was also the year that Thawne (Matt Letscher’s Thawne obviously) killed Nora, then afterwards lost his connection to speed force, took OG Harrison Wells’s identity and got his Wells face (Tom Cavanagh).

Ah, that _Back to the Future_ reference, where Barry (almost) gets hit by a car, is knocked out in the street, and interacts with his parents. It's a great way to reference it without actually copying it outright.
I like how people in fiction forget that it is entierly possible for someone to have the exact same first name and surname as someone else. Barry isn't a rare surname and neither is Allen. And heck he could just call himself Bart or Bartholomew or one of the names of one of the other Speedsters.
this is still going to cause changes in the timeline. He exposed his face and when future barry inevitably grows up, he's going to think back to this exact moment.
This can exactly be how season 1 Joe puts the pieces together and told Barry that there is another Flash that came over to his house. That is the reason why season 1 Joe made a conclusion that there were 2 speedsters fighting each other.

Barry must of only spoke to the version of Stein that is about to be Legend. I mean there is 2 Steins. Stein 1 will be Legends while Stein 2 will be the father. Stein 2 took Stein 1's advice to be with his wife so Stein 2 ended up having sex with his wife only to get her pregnant and ended up with a daughter. So it sounded like Barry only contacted Stein 1 over the phone. Barry most likely went to the original timeline of 2000. Not the rewritten version of 2000.

The year 2000 (a parody to the jonas brothers song) one day, he was at home, with iris, when he suddenly dissapeared he found out, he was in a city, and his house was nowhere near stood there, in the middle, of the buildings, but there was something weird he then saw his both parents walking and his gut began aching (choir) he said i went to the year 2000 my mother dies at the hands of reverse flash and he's gonna deal with backlash he can't go home (can't go home) second verse he found out that no one, really knew him and it was hard to explain he went with his old pal joe west he didn't understand anything joe west thought barry was crazy theres something he didn't see Barry went back to the year 2000 he almost got run over by a car but he was saved by his mom and papa at they took care (care of him)
Barry's mom turned into a speedforce so therefore, she most likely do not age a day. Zoom on the other hand killed Henry before Henry's hair turns completely white and before turning into a senior citizen.
Think about it though: Joe met adult Barry twice in the episode Those being at the precinct & apparently off camera when Barry was unconscious as he mentioned speaking with the hit & run victim (Barry) just prior As a cop he sees a lot of faces. From that night onwards, he then takes in an 11 year old Barry Allen whom he knows & watches Barry grow up; young Barry wouldn’t look like his adult-self until a few years later (15/16 id reckon?) So all in all I’d think that Joe would shrug it off as just not knowing who that guy was, nor really remembering his face … unlike the back to the future theory in the same nature… given Marty was around his parents on/off for a week 😅
1 thing that can happen is I bet Captain Singh had already put the 2 pieces together. Both Joe West and David Singh had seen how Barry looks like in 2000 right. So maybe when Barry grows up and becomes a CSI, that might of how Captain Singh eventually put the 2 pieces together and referred to Barry as The Flash. Difference is, Barry unmasked himself for Joe to see but Captain Singh on the other hand may of probably remembered that he hired a same guy who was about to get hit by a car.
I don't know about Henry but Joe on the other hand was the first member of Team Flash, that solved the riddle and told Barry that there was another Flash fighting Reverse Flash the night Reverse Flash killed Nora. I would think Joe must of put the pieces together in season 1. Meeting a stranger with no ID. Maybe that is how Joe used his detective skills to solve. I mean Joe had been around in the year 2000 and then it can be possible that Joe raised Barry and when Barry grows up, Joe must of remembered hey, I remember that stranger's face with no ID. Barry looks exactly like a stranger with no ID card. The one I spoke to in year 2000.
I don't think Barry forgotten. It is a time period where Dr. Wells was not killed yet but will be by Eobard Thawne. Before Dr. Wells become Timeless Wells, he had to die first and then get revived. This is the same example that you cannot expect Nora to become a speedforce either. So Timeless Wells might not of existed in the year 2000. Remember that this has got to be a time period where Eobard kills Dr. Wells. Dr. Wells might not be Timeless Wells yet.

I think maybe Stein had not done any time travelling research back in 2000 which means he was not interested in helping a time traveller who is stranded. This Stein may not have fully believe in time travel but maybe just started looking into it after receiving that phone call. Maybe Stein went like nope, time travelling don't exist. Long story short, he eventually believed in it and wrote a thesis.
I bet Peter Gambi's doppelganger does exist in Earth 1. Only exception is maybe this Gambi never met Jefferson Pierce and maybe this version of Gambi has a dry cleaning business in Central City taking place in 2000.
So Gambi’s existed in Season 1 before Black Lightning as a show was made… so it’s a reference to season 1 if anything- as on the day Barry discovers his powers; he accidentally ran into the back of a van marked as Gambi’s
Maybe Stein did not fully believe in time travelling theories in this 2000 timeline yet. Maybe Stein did not write his thesis that early yet. Maybe that prank call Barry made to Stein may of caused Stein to hang up and then eventually, Stein believes in time travelling theories. Don't forget that in 2000, nobody became a Legend yet and Rip Hunter did not recruit anyone to become Legends that early. Stein has no experience being Firestorm in 2000. If Stein cannot be recruited that early, how will Jefferson get recruited. I mean first time Stein became Firestorm, he merged with Rodney. So that 1 phone call may of caused Stein to hang up and then Stein believed in time travelling thesis after doing some research.

Ah, that _Back to the Future_ reference, where Barry (almost) gets hit by a car, is knocked out in the street, and interacts with his parents. It's a great way to reference it without actually copying it outright.

I like how people in fiction forget that it is entierly possible for someone to have the exact same first name and surname as someone else. Barry isn't a rare surname and neither is Allen. And heck he could just call himself Bart or Bartholomew or one of the names of one of the other Speedsters.

This can exactly be how season 1 Joe puts the pieces together and told Barry that there is another Flash that came over to his house. That is the reason why season 1 Joe made a conclusion that there were 2 speedsters fighting each other.

Stein either forgot about time travel until Barry’s Phone call, or he didn’t want to change the timeline: Jax tried to reverse Steins death after Earth X
Barry must of only spoke to the version of Stein that is about to be Legend. I mean there is 2 Steins. Stein 1 will be Legends while Stein 2 will be the father. Stein 2 took Stein 1's advice to be with his wife so Stein 2 ended up having sex with his wife only to get her pregnant and ended up with a daughter. So it sounded like Barry only contacted Stein 1 over the phone. Barry most likely went to the original timeline of 2000. Not the rewritten version of 2000.

From that night onwards, he then takes in an 11 year old Barry Allen whom he knows & watches Barry grow up; young Barry wouldn’t look like his adult-self until a few years later (15/16 id reckon?)
So all in all I’d think that Joe would shrug it off as just not knowing who that guy was, nor really remembering his face
… unlike the back to the future theory in the same nature… given Marty was around his parents on/off for a week 😅

1 thing that can happen is I bet Captain Singh had already put the 2 pieces together. Both Joe West and David Singh had seen how Barry looks like in 2000 right. So maybe when Barry grows up and becomes a CSI, that might of how Captain Singh eventually put the 2 pieces together and referred to Barry as The Flash. Difference is, Barry unmasked himself for Joe to see but Captain Singh on the other hand may of probably remembered that he hired a same guy who was about to get hit by a car.

I don't know about Henry but Joe on the other hand was the first member of Team Flash, that solved the riddle and told Barry that there was another Flash fighting Reverse Flash the night Reverse Flash killed Nora. I would think Joe must of put the pieces together in season 1. Meeting a stranger with no ID. Maybe that is how Joe used his detective skills to solve. I mean Joe had been around in the year 2000 and then it can be possible that Joe raised Barry and when Barry grows up, Joe must of remembered hey, I remember that stranger's face with no ID. Barry looks exactly like a stranger with no ID card. The one I spoke to in year 2000.

I don't think Barry forgotten. It is a time period where Dr. Wells was not killed yet but will be by Eobard Thawne. Before Dr. Wells become Timeless Wells, he had to die first and then get revived. This is the same example that you cannot expect Nora to become a speedforce either. So Timeless Wells might not of existed in the year 2000. Remember that this has got to be a time period where Eobard kills Dr. Wells. Dr. Wells might not be Timeless Wells yet.

I mean Nora in 2049 did grow up without a father based on 2023 Iris's story. Maybe when they claim OG Barry went to outerspace, they might of meant Justice Leagues Watchtower.
Stein has met the same time travelers so many times at this point, this would not be weird for him
But the way how 2000 Stein spoke with a time traveller, it sounded like Stein did not believe in time travel theories, therefore, hangs up on that time traveller Barry. I think maybe Stein had not done any time travelling research back in 2000 which means he was not interested in helping a time traveller who is stranded. This Stein may not have fully believe in time travel but maybe just started looking into it after receiving that phone call. Maybe Stein went like nope, time travelling don't exist. Long story short, he eventually believed in it and wrote a thesis.

Because it could have been a prank call if Barry visited in person he may have quicker believed him
Maybe Stein did not fully believe in time travelling theories in this 2000 timeline yet. Maybe Stein did not write his thesis that early yet. Maybe that prank call Barry made to Stein may of caused Stein to hang up and then eventually, Stein believes in time travelling theories. Don't forget that in 2000, nobody became a Legend yet and Rip Hunter did not recruit anyone to become Legends that early. Stein has no experience being Firestorm in 2000. If Stein cannot be recruited that early, how will Jefferson get recruited. I mean first time Stein became Firestorm, he merged with Rodney. So that 1 phone call may of caused Stein to hang up and then Stein believed in time travelling thesis after doing some research.

Young Stein only took the advice from an older Stein only to have sex with his wife only to get his wife pregnant then leading him to have a daughter. A Stein who is going to be a father would not have much experience doing time travelling stuff because young Stein only takes advice from older Stein was only adviced to be there for his loved ones period. Older Stein only created another Stein where another alternate Stein was a family man and not Legends. Barry went to the original timeline in 2000. Not the rewritten timeline of 2000.
