Have not done the Crank case yet what’s the service interval on that ? Not a member of the Honda Rebel world I was on the other one that took a dive I think . Been busy with work and life stuff
Ok stupid question I guess. My first bike was a 2012 Honda Shadow 750 (the Phantom) shaft drive, second bike 2015 Triumph Thunderbird, belt drive. I’ve seen a few other folks having these stands on the Rebel 1100 my 3rd bike is this for chain maintenance ? If so how much more maintenance is involved with a chain drive motorcycle ?
I would say in general a chain can last 10-20 thousand miles depending on how you ride and it’s probably good to change the sprocket and drive gear at the same time. I’ve bought kits for my GSXR for like 160 with all of it. I will clean mine when it looks dirty and if it got wet. I use kerosene and a grunge brush to clean it and use my air compressor to blow it dry and then spray it down with chain lube and wipe off the excess takes about 15 minutes for me to do it. You will also have to adjust it to keep the tension right. There are probably 100 videos on UA-cam on how too. So compared to a shaft that is almost no maintenance yes you will have more with a chain for sure .
Where did u get the stand, I'm having troubles finding the right one. The ones I order are too slimm, and not wide enough.
wish you had shown positioning with regards to exhaust.
I think I have a few other videos I’ve made . It basically fits on the swing arm. I’ve had 3 different stands and I’ve been able to make them all work
hey ripke, could ya do a video,on rebel 1100 crank case breather service, also are you a member of honda rebel 1100 world,on facebook
