Thanks for sharing. Watching other transmission videos they show tearing one down but they rarely show the actual testing. Thanks for sharing your info and knowledge Artie 👍
Thank you for sharing this great Diy video !! I needed to acquire an Affordable calibrated vacuum test meter & your video helped tremendously !! Great channel content...Thx,....tom.
Go to sonnax website, for every valve that they sell there's a minimum vacuum standard reading. If it's within specifications you'll put a drop in valve. If it's below you ream.
Yes since the fluid gets thinner and metals expand with heat. If you notice I have the valve clean and dry, fluid would give me a better reading since it covers the wear somewhat.
Go to sonnax website, on every valve they sell there's a minimum vacuum standard. If it's close to it or slightly below you can install a drop in valve. If it's way too low then you need to ream it and install an oversized valve.

A pencil eraser works perfectly to plug orifices on the valves 😊
Nice video
Nice video bro
💯💯💯👍🏽
I would like to know where u are located I have a 2014 silverado that is starting to have transmission problems
Hiram: do you know of anyone that has an oversized valve and bore reamer for the 80?
Thanks for the demo. I guess there's no way to ream the bore and use an oversize valve.

What are the symptoms of a failing pressure regulator valve?
By any chance what’s the name of your shop or email I can reach you at?
Would readings be different if hot transmission thanks 👍

I've got a question for you
