My hydraulic repair shop repacks my cylinders chraper than I can buy da packing . Top it off good O'l JD wanted more for packing on one cylinder than what my shop fellers charged me to repack two cylinders . Imagine that ! "Need It Now" Hydraulics off of St. Rt. 339 n Ohio . Absolutely Excellent repairs !!!
It’s a fertilizer pump not a cylinder. Nothing a hydraulic shop will do for it. And dad owns a hydraulic shop. I’ve been rebuilding cylinders since I was 12-13 years old.
Per your research on pump numbers, sounds like you have a handle on parts diagrams. At my age, don't always trust my memory if there is any lapse in time between teardown and reassembly. Glad you didn't have any major destruction of parts in the teardown...could have been ugly with fertilizer/chemical residue.
The first ever new 3 wheeler I ever had was a Yamaha 225DX. I can still smell the new 3 wheeler smell. It was fun to drive but not a big power house. I should have gotten the 250 DX
Greg Lunquest will take care of you at AGRO Chem. Great company with great employees. We use them down in Southeast Indiana and we have Ohio Valley Ag in our town and we don’t think twice to call AGRO Chem first.
Sometimes a guy just has to dive in and swim. When you can't find pictures it is a "let me see how it's made " thing. Right? See you later. This was fun.
Free parts for a project is always good. One man junk is anothers treasure.
It wasn’t free…
@@Oliver66FarmBoy you said at :15 seconds it was free. Maybe I just misunderstood.
Yea. It was free, not locked up…..
@@Oliver66FarmBoy 👍 gotcha.
Had the other meaning of free from the comments from the last video in my head.
That was my favorite screwdriver !
Ok?
Always wondered about those. Now i know. Thanks for showing it.
Been dealing with Ago-Chem for over 25 years. Good people and they know their stuff. Not cheap but.....

Always good when you can get it apart without something breaking!
Stainless steel is good stuff.

Great videos keep em coming. I use fertilizer dealers supply south of Wolcott indiana. Also great people to deal with.
Ive bought from them to.
Going to have to razz you a little on your prolific use of a perfectly good screw driver for a chisel. Good job on the tear down though...
I’d make fun of somebody for not using a screw driver.
One Craftsman screw 🪛 driver added to da repair bill ? lol Use what u need to get er done . Done it many ua times over fifty + yrs ... 👍 🔧 🛠️ 👌

Used to deal with a guy named Matt but apparently he doesn’t work there anymore. That guy was a walking encyclopedia.
Hey I have one of them Milwaukie, the 3/8 @with a 2amphr battery it will remove 16 ,5/8fine thread nuts on a semi trucks axel flanges
They are torquey little things.
I'd say she came apart pretty easily Farm Boy
Not to bad.

That’s about the only way you can do it sometimes
I would definitely do away with the clutch. It’s just as fast to take the chain off if you need to replant and don’t want fert to pump.
Replant with a 28 applicator?
