here's a tip: NEVER make your bed as soon as you get up. If you do, the moisture remains trapped, which is the perfect environment for dust mites. Your bed needs to breath!

Thank you for a very neat and simple sum up of your morning routine!
I used to be a No. 1 hoarder, living a stressful life, always at hussle, then slowly adapted the minimalistic mindset, sold/donated about 80% of my posessions and started exercising regularly. I always cooked from scratch so that wasn't an issue for me. I finally found peace, I can relax in my clutter-free appartment. I sometimes struggle with being zero waste because you only realise the severity of the problem once you start to avoid shopping pre-packaged items and finally see the absurdity of something like individually wrapped lemons. So again, thanks for guiding us and teaching by example.

Dust mites are little vacuum cleaners that feed on our shedding skin cells, which is great. But they thrive in warm, slightly moist blankets, pillows, etc. So it is good to pull back your covers. If you are allergic to dust mites (& their um .. poo) making your bed as soon as you get out of it is a big no, no. If you experience sneezing or a runny nose either when you Go to bed or get up in the morning, or laundry day, you might have an allergy.

A mason jar can be for takeout leftovers, a drink at a cafe, or a compost container. I always take extra totes in case I find something I need, or if someone I'm with needs a bag so they don't have to use a plastic one 💖

Hi! Loving your channel. 🖤 Here is another tip to save energy. Make overnight oats instead of boiling them. Healthy tasty saves time electricity and also no milk is needed. What else.. I stoped using deodorants completly after using home made (and sometimes a deochrystal) for some years. It took just a short while until my body regulated (just as when we quit shampoo) Now I dont sweat much and it doesnt smell much.. and I dont mind if it do actually smell a little human. Cleaning up the diet also plays its part!

I love oatmeal for breakfast...and actually I call mine Asian oatmeal, because I have it on the non-sweet side with chia seed oil, gluten free organic tamari and, when I can, "haldi achar" or pickled turmeric. It does feel very nutritious. To reduce waste, I also use a shampoo soap bar made by a friend.

Great video!! But I really want to tell you, that you need ( that’s really important) to soak your grains!! Soak the oats, chia seeds, actually all grains and seeds need to be soaked! If you do the fermentation it will be fantastic, it will be “pre digested“ for your body!

great video! thanks for reducing waste in our world and inspiring others. i recently learnt that we can still cause damage to our earth even if we eat vegan, buy cruelty free cosmetics, ethical clothes... switching to a zero waste lifestyle little by little. with fosters and pets im thinking there will always be some trash from my house, but i learn things i never thought could be real in the zw community so maybe one day could be zero waste with pets too! subbed! 💕💕💕

Güney Naz Yılmaz delighted to hear you liked the video and subscribed. Being in this world is wasteful so all we can do is our best and have our intentions and our actions matching. Basically we create waste just by being in this world so we can only do our best. If everyone was as conscientious as you, the world would be a better place. Xxx

So meditative to watch. My tip as a morning coffee drinker is to use a tiny 1 1/2 cup French press (Bodum brand...mine has lasted 4+ years). If any is left over, I store it in a Mason jar in the fridge for iced coffee in the summer. This way, I don't waste a whole pot of coffee ($£€ either).
