for a beautiful and deep ballad you should defenitly check out coraline! it is sooo beautiful and Damiano has confirmed that it is about his girlfriend by now...it is told like a fairytale with a tragic end...the real life coraline has had a happy end up to this point of time.

I'd love to see you check out one of their more ballad-like songs such as Vent'anni. There are some beautiful instrumentals in that song and it's such a meaningful song about contemplating who you want to be as an artist at only twenty years old (Vent'anni = Twenty years). I enjoy hearing you breakdown some of the more technical elements and encouraging songwriting.

What you said about writing over just one riff reminded me of a song by Kehlani called "Honey" cause the instrumental for that song is basically the same throughout the WHOLE thing. And it's amazing.
