      Combination of a few factors I think mate but the creatine defo played a significant role

    • @TheSaxon.
      @TheSaxon. 5 місяців тому +114

      Yeah, it definitely played a role but you'd probably be able to quantify its benefits better if Sairs had been training like that for 3 months already.

    • @jiawei0917
      @jiawei0917 5 місяців тому +58

      Totally agree with you. A better creatine experiment will be if that someone didn’t train as hard, and just slack as they used to, then just test it again after creatine loading.

    • @lauram9616
      @lauram9616 5 місяців тому +22

      I trained for a year without creatine. When I started taking it, my bench increased by 7.5kg after 1 month. Previously, I'd been increasing by 2.5kg every month, so creatine definitely helped with the other 5kg.

      bit of a unfair test TBH , she might of performed the same if she did 1 rep max on the regular in teh first place, not denying creatine works , but the results may be slightly skewed

    • @thebikepackingadventurer
      @thebikepackingadventurer 5 місяців тому +6

      @@girlsdrinkfeck basic things like sleep can effect outcome. Think the results are obvious that strength is there after pushing hard for 30 days, but without an absolute strict regime yes anything could sway outcomes. I remember way back during Matt's power lifting days, the Mrs use to hate being on camera and dodge every time Matt would try to film her. Now she's extremely comfortable in front of the lens, "Time changes everything; no one can stop it".

    Starting back in the gym soon, after 20 years. Should I be taking it from the off, or wait a couple months?

    Amazing editing. Sairs smashed this. 💪🏼 Just out of curiousity wondered why you recommended for Sairs to take creatine in that way with dry scooping? I take it mixed into either water or food but just wanted to know if there was a particular reason. Love the vids ❤

      The dry scooping was confusing. Decent Creatine mixes well with pretty much all liquids. What is the advantage of dry scooping?

      Yea Fab smashed the edit & dry scooping is to avoid any residual creatine wastage in the bottom of the shaker. Doesn’t really make a significant difference though tbh mate

    Imagine you are strongest after the warmup.
    You should do the hardest set right after the warmup.
    What everyone does is they gradually increase the weight and push their max when they are already exhausted.
