I'm a diabetic and just to let u know to get a proper reading u need to test ur self atleast 2hrs after eating. Also because ur a very active person and u always work out ur sugar wouldn't fully spike up like an average person
As a type 1 diabetic I am 1. Jealous of the food consumption in this video, 2. Feel your pain on your fingers when you prick them (when people say it doesn’t hurt.. they lie 🤣) and 3 find it fascinating how someone of a non-diabetic’s body reacts to the sugar and carb intake without having to worry about if your sugars go too high or too low! If I was me my sugars would most likely be in the 20’s or higher 😅 Great video i really enjoyed this 😊
I can honestly say whenever I've had to prick my fingers it has never hurt. I'm not diabetic but have had finger pricks throughout my life for blood donations. T1 sucks though. Hope you keep well

This could of been a really good diabetes awareness video (November is also diabetes awareness month). As a diabetic I have to do them blood sugar tests 7-8 times a day and also have to manually inject insulin to counteract any sugar that I consume. Obviously you get used to it but you don’t know how lucky you to have a fully functioning pancreas 😂. Loved the video though💪🏼
@@tomfisher7751 depends on how often you need to check mate. Some people will test more than others based on their lifestyle. How much they exercise, eat, sleep etc. and how much overall control they have
I dont know how he can eat like he does and have those levels! the man is a machine! I go pre diabetic just from bulking! it wipes me out! if i pig out i get major crashes, although taking berberine sorts me out now. But matt does seem to be a one off, im pretty sure the majority cant eat like he does and get away with it. Regardless of blood sugar levels i dont know how his bowls can take what he shovels into him! i'd need to be within 10 ft of a toilet at all times eating like this lol and i'd be stinking everyone out around me, my gf would not be happy!

Your viewers minds would spin faster than your food processor's blade would spin ;)

This is actually my worst nightmare of a diet as I don't have a sweet tooth and generally dislike sugary stuff, other than fruits and natural sugars like honey etc... But kudos to you doing these challenges!

Proteins and fats can help lower the impact of sugar on your blood sugar when you eat something sweet, it might be why you're blood sugar was ok after your McDonald's meal. As a diabetic, if I want to eat something sweet (fruits included), I eat almonds, hazelnuts ou cheese first.

Hey, matt. Would it be OK if I eat a tiny bit of chocolate a day if I were to bulk up? I eat tuna, chicken and mackerel as well everyday but would it hurt to add just a tad of sweet stuff like coffee with 2 sugars or the odd dairy milk a day?
Matt, carbs actually have a higher effect on your blood sugar levels ( at least for diabetics) so you should do this again with carb intake measuring your blood sugar levels and see what that does.

Unless he ate an insane amount of sugar his BG level was never gonna go massively high as he’s not diabetic! 🤦 it might go ‘high’ but his pancreas would then secrete insulin and his BG level would lower eventually. Plus a level of 8 after eating is NOT high and 4.1 is not low - Mad how little people know about blood glucose 😂 In fairness I didn’t know until I was a T1D but then that just means more awareness needed 😅
Matt! Does Sairs wear the Morsia belt? Went to grab one but it says the range starts from 28 inch waist. I have a 25 inch waist so not sure it’ll fit. In my 7 years of training, I’ve yet to come across a decent belt that actually fits🫠
I eat enormous amount of saturated fat, probably one lbs of butter per week with red meat and or with eggs and feel amazing compared to 5 years ago. The difference is that I hardly eat sugar or other carbs. When I do stray from that diet, I'm in pain and gain weight. Saturated fat causing heart disease is a complete load of crock to say the least.
i drink energy drinks quite frequently, if yours was free shipping or $10 shipping worldwide id order 4 cases, problem is with it being $50 shipping it was a little much.

I had diabetes on both of my pregnancies and I had to test four times a day. First thing and an hour after each meal.
