Farah needs some work on the zoom calls. You've got to let people flush out their ideas without interjection because of the delay or else you risk constantly interrupting them, something that Matt did a lot here.
It's not Burt Kreischer over Tom Segura bad by a long shot, doesn't ruin the show for me, but it's an area for improvement! I am sympathetic bcuz I'd be really excited talking to Jason Cammisa too tho :) (PS it does get worse as the episode goes on it's true...but didn't start too bad)
I noticed the same thing, lots of overtalk. Is it because of the zoom delay? Great show none the less. Always great to hear Jason; I miss Head to Head.
@@gerhardhillmann1 Dont think its anything to do with the zoom delay, if you listen to any of the other podcasts, Matt tends to interject/interrupt a lot of his guests.
@@mitchbuchannon6637 do you think jay could get a word in? I wholeheartedly agree. I’m a gigantic jayemm fan. The guy really has a command of the English language, is funny, and reviews the aspects of cars that, at least I care about.
The M2 sort of falls apart on track. Brakes aren’t strong enough. The rear (certainly in the first M2) doesn’t provide enough confidence over bumps. The engine dies in the high rpms a bit so it never feels like you’re really ringing it out. It’s weight suddenly appears on track too. However on the road, it feels really fast, proper lively & fun. It’s the right size and honestly imo the best out the M cars and the small RS & AMG’s for our and our giggles. Had the original M2 with the M Performance exhaust and the that really gave it the bite it needed. Sounded amazing in track mode. Loved the car. Just wasn’t great on track. Tracks always make you realise you need something lighter haha
Jason needs to break down the North American market hype vs real world shit box tractor qualities of a Land Rover defender. Huge following, relevant with the launch of the new one and someone providing a non fan boy review of an original defender would be great.
As rare as the LM001 is, I've somehow come across multiple. The first time was at an obscure euro auto shop in an industrial park in Omaha, NE of all places. It's honestly the wildest vehicle that I have seen in person.
I agree, I think Jason was frustrated too. Lots of one upping each other, a little underlying tension if you ask me. I can’t get enough of cammisa, a perfect mix of humility with a great sense of humour and an endless amount of data. I’m still surprised he gets limited views but now with his hagerty gig he’s gonna blow up.
I love Cammisa. I had no idea he had a law degree and had so many majors during undergrad. My respect for him has never been higher. The gag at 41:15 was so funny, how does he have so many phones on standby like that hahaha
I still remember those two Ignition episodes (911R and Vantage) and they were my favorites! Those two compete with the GT500 ICONS video in my favorites. I have watched each more than ten times each.
Just for context Matt.......the 765LT also did 100-150MPH in 5.088 seconds, so your 5 second stat for the 2000HP Viper is losing its luster a bit considering anyone with a valid drivers license (and $370k) can buy one off the showroom
I’ve never tracked a car but what would define a car that’s good on track but epic on the road? Just a really good daily driver but doesn’t excel well on track? I found this comment/opinion very intriguing. Love you guys knowledge and perspective In such matters. thx for the great content.
A good road car doesn’t necessarily have the ultimate grip you want on track, and it’s a good thing because it becomes more fun at lower speeds because you can hoon about in ways that would just get you black flagged on track. On track the limits are important, on the road the character is important
My problem with the regular M2C was the really harsh ride on real world roads. Drive it back to back with a Cayman or Corvette and it’s night and day... I really would love to try CS to see if the adaptive dampers fixed it.
As far as the audible pitch... Have you looked into what audible pays their creators? I'd think as someone who has had to play the UA-cam game, you'd have looked into it prior to saying ok.
amazing show, great stuff and all of that. but please, please try to let others finish speaking before talking. no one likes to hear talking over. its especially prominent on these zoom/skype calls. please. love.
It's a trend that's popular with car journalists and they do it with all cars, not just the Mach-E, especially when they're talking about the press car as a representation of the model in general. If you listen to the The Smoking Tire podcast with Doug Demuro, they're talking about the new Ferrari Roma and you hear them Doug saying something like "I had a chance to experience Roma" or something like that. It's almost like something they would write in an article or review, but they say it like that as well.
Man, I get you have to pay for the show but 7 minutes of Ads is INSANE! I literally never listen to them at all anymore because of the way you do this.
@@jordany7018 I think his sponsors would like it more if he did a mid-show ad-read instead of loading it up in the beginning. Good for us listeners, though.
@@crashyyy4116 I’m sure he’s got it figured out where the sponsors that pay the most play first. However, doing random reads throughout the show would be better monetarily, but could easily push away subscribers and regular fans.

Thank you for having him on again so soon🙏🙏 love hearing his ADHD AUTOMOTIVE GENIUS
+1.. Herr Cammisa has the automotive genius goods!
Jason the best Internet personality when it comes to cars. Keep making content boss.
Cammisa is so fucking awesome he should be a weekly guest.
Jason Cammisa is so analog, that not only does he prefer driving a stick shift, but has a ROTARY PHONE !

Love how the Aston V12 Vantage S is a part of nearly every Cammisa podcast on here. So by my count about 5 times so far.
Today just got better!
Agreed!
Yep!
+1. .. Herr Jason Cammisa needs to come out for the Tier-One spotlight, say a regular presenter on Top Gear? .. Yeah, UK can be rainy.....
Love the show, and Cammisa, as ever.. Please, please have him bring Derek Tam Hyphen Scott next time, if possible
