You were a huge help at getting me started into building my first carrack when it was overwhelming so it's great to see you finally finish your goals. What I've learned during my time on the seas is that you should never sell T5s for silver unless you're running out of storage or don't have VP active. Crow coins are always where most of your barter profits come from. Either selling caphras/memory frags, Khan's Life, or crafting and enhancing Manos using Crow Coin Coupons depending on market prices (The Manos accessory boxes aren't really worth it though). The theoretical profit of bartering is actually very competitive, but bartering for profit has a lot of caveats which is why most people don't bother.
I am still working slowly on my Carrack (first one). This is an incredible accomplishment. I need to get back into running sailies with someone to progress. This is good motivation. Thanks for the video.
I grinded to 285 AP - 356 DP within about 3 months. Burned out a couple times during that period but I got into sea content and it's just so refreshing. I think grinding will and always should be more profitable than afk lifeskills by a margin, but honestly sailing is not for the silver. It's a great athmosphere at sea and pulls a stark contrast to the usual grinding where you're running in circles for hours and hands are so busy you can hardly drink a sip of coffee. I'm some 10 days of dailies away from my first carrack now (85% done) and it's just great to have an activity where I can just alt tab whilst sailing the wide seas and making progress towards a big ass ship. Imo it's the best lifeskill, because it's not simply watching a bar go to full in x seconds like all the processing based ones. Gathering is nice too, but too similiar to grinding. Not a fan of the horse training system in this game at all, it's too much "pop buffs and go afk on infinite loop".
In my opinion, the galleons or ships of the line like Santísima Trinidad should now be included. This would create a lot of hype and by multiplying the load you could make all the shipments in 1 or 2 trips, allowing you to have more time to do other professions or grinding.
Congrats on completing the set! Just a small comment on the profit, without the value pack you can fit in two barter cycles, with VP it's three... if someone just does sea content, that's pretty achievable in 3 hours (staying out of Margoria). I still agree with you that active grinding is more profitable in total. Cons: if you are over lvl 49, you are more vulnerable to ship pvp from pirates... it doesn't happen often but still sucks to lose a full cargo of T5 items :(
Hey Ezo, would u do a new video after the Barter soft rework? I had heard that they were increasing profits for barter, would like to know if its worth it then.
Hi Man, thx for the video! Its been a while since i played, and i was wondering (since so many things changed) what is the money on 4 barter resets and how long does it take to do the resets. I remember 2 years ago i made between 600 and 800 mil in +/- 3 to 4 hours semi afk bartering (4 resets). Is it better these days? does it still take that amount of time to complete all 4?
Ocean content sucks ar bdo its not even close to archeage sea battles and journeys so its no point to even craft a sail in black desert sorry you waste your time but .... some people, some fetishism 😂
Bdo looks much better, better game with like 100 more activites than that other game aaaand carracks look really pretty. Like who tf cares about sea battles lmao
@Shaved_Bunny hahaha 😆 you never seen galleons in archeage so you think that bdo looks better. In BDO you have zero realistic boats completely non. Yes battle its importand if you have warship dude otherwise it's useless if you want farm pve trash go play bdo fishing simulator 😂

If T5 materials can be stack, and they increase the ship speed more I think many people would be doing more sea contents.
