Just wanted to say thanks for the 4 part carrack series, its the only guide I found that actually explains wtf everything is from the very basics instead of assuming that newbies already know most of the stuff like literally every other guide.
Thanks so much for doing this as well as the other videos, you have helped so much and it is SO much easier now! Cannot believe I just finished a Galleass in under two weeks!
I just made my caravel and was immediately discouraged upon seeing what it takes to go next - hard to justify the time commitment bartering is hardly valuable :(
Sea monsters located close to margoria crow coins barter spots, it will be a good idea to combine monsters killing quests with crow coins barter. Same route.

Hey there. With the recent updates that made things a lot easier + crocodiles for blue gear too, it would really depend on what max stats you want. Personally, I suggest people to get 2, an Advance for max weight then using that to build Volante for max speed. After that mats would be really easy to get.
so for the nineshark candidum rewards i get them from barter material refresh alot like 4 times more mats daily black rust the ocean tear is worth doing so i skip and to rust directly

Hey @febri3109 , aside from doing the dailies at oquilla, you can hunt down island pirates for their coins. If you do the Tinberra Coin Daily from Ravina near Croix at Veila, there is a good concentration of pirates there. Another is parking by Randis and Serca Island to do 2 camp rotation. Lastly keep exploring , you will eventually get Combat artifact quests.
Damn this was 7 months ago, and I’m just starting to Barter to make a Carrack. And I’m on console. For some reason, the Black Rust quest requires me to kill 5 of em!!! For the big one and the small one, so after doing a couple for the big one, which takes awhile btw since I have to kill 5 of them, I decided to choose the 5 younger ones and that one was way easier. But anyways, around 28:00 I see you don’t have to kill 5 of the big ones, I wonder if the quest is bugged on console?! 🤔
They are through normal barter. Before you needed 5k+ barter to appear. In previous updates, 3k+ barter will make them consistently appear in normal and material barters
can we get tear of the ocean from barter? i already reach 3200 barter, briliant rock salt & pearl already show up in material barter, but i never get tear of the ocean from barter
There is a random chance you get in for a special barter. Other ones is doing the dailies for Black Rust, fishing in Papu Crinea, Exchanging Oquilla coins, and the very rare otter merchant appearance.

how do I get brilliant rock salt ingots, and Brilliant Pearl shards?
They are through normal barter. Before you needed 5k+ barter to appear. In previous updates, 3k+ barter will make them consistently appear in normal and material barters
