- Hello loves! In this absolute spur of the moment video I decided to show you all my recipe for "quick sauce". My husband & I both come from direct Italian heritages...& my mother in law gave me her exstenisve sauce recipe (which I'll show you all one day) & from that recipe....I make quick sauce sometimes for dinner....not as many ingredients, not as long to cook...but still packed with lots of saucy goodness! I forgot to mention in this video that halfway through cooking this, I add a little more of the same spices I did in the beginning. I've made this sauce two times now and I love it! After some adjustment I found 1 t. each of garlic granules and salt works well, + 2 t. basil and 1 T. sugar. With three cans of sauce. I made the first batch with whole sausage and the second breaking it up. Delicious either way. I've been making the same sauce for years and years and never found another one I liked as much except this one. It's now in "heavy rotation" lol.

Please please please do more cooking videos. I loved this so much. I am a chef by nature and trade but ovarian cancer and now renal kidney failure has me on the sidelines but I still cook at home and love to see videos with people cooking

Looks delicious. I will chop up fresh garlic though. No, Italians do not measure! I've had some Italian friends share recipes with me. They don't measure but they are the BEST recipes. Do you make a cauliflower sauce?
Yes garlic is what I put in my big big pot of sauce. I do make the cauliflower sauce but not often. I also do vodka sauce....but red sauce is my fave. My hubs is amazing at making homemade alfredo;) I'm shocked I own measuring cups hahahaha
