Gah Christmas is the best time of year 🥰 My partner and I buy one new unique ornament for our tree every year and put the date on the bottom, that is our tradition

My family’s favorite tradition is giving pajamas on Christmas Eve so we can sleep in them the night of!

National Lampoon's is my fav christmas movie too! Food is everything to my family and our holiday traditions. We're polish and my mom makes all the traditional polish dishes from scratch. Baking/decorating christmas cookies the Sunday before christmas with all of my extended family has been a tradition even since way before I was born in the 90's.
I’m one of those weird people that tried to follow your personal page on Instagram …. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I absolutely understand wanting privacy ESPECIALLY when it comes to children. 💙 A tradition I have is that my husband and I open our gifts to each other on Christmas Eve after the kiddos are asleep. It’s our little time together to celebrate. 🥰😍🎄

I liked this black screen video.
It took me back to the dawn of UA-cam, when a lot of presentations were audio only, with black screen, or a still photograph.
I've never heard of chewing gum being involved in any Christmas traditions.
Then again, I'm not living in The States, so any Stateside traditions will have not come to my notice.
Neighbours getting together at Christmas, for the one get together in the year.
Midnight Mass.
Sherry and Mead drinking.
Christmas roast dinner.
Karaoke in the evening.
New year traditions. "First footing". Taking pieces of coal to neighbours and friends. They are obliged to let you in for a drink and mince pie.
Then on to the next friend.
People with children will leave a sherry and two mince pies for Santa clause, on Christmas eve. The children like to do that before they go to bed. The whole village will get together in the church hall.
Anyway, this was an excellent discussion point. An insight for me into the life of a young mother in the United States.

The part where your little baby girl needs to be changed cracked me up because we went through the same thing only worse 'cause my husband took her diaper off and she wasn't finished and the poor guy was there with his hands full of shhhh....and was screaming: whaat is going on? What do I do? What do I do? 🤣🤣
And for our family Christmas goes the same way: lots of people, lots of food, nothing fancy.
