Dude brought 100% muay thai to US! It would be my please to join this gym. Man this coach is legit!
That was Coach Charles’s best plan all along, we Ty for the kind words! ❤️🔥🙏
TJ is a great coach. Learned a lot at one of his seminars. What hes teaching is very hard to get the hang of. It seems like a paradox to kick hard yet be relaxed but hes 100 percent right. When you feel it you know but it comes with reps. So many reps you get bored and finally relax enough to whip the kick just right.
We appreciate the kind words! Hit that notification bell because we have a ton of content on the way! ✅🙏🙌
The kid kicks like Superbon when he's relaxed. It's deceptive in the way that it's beautiful yet deadly. You'd think it won't hurt much but it's super accurate.
Ty,Much more content on the way! 🙏
But I think his right kick remind me the kicking machine Superlek 😅
Wish I had of started Muay Thai as a kid, beautiful sport. Done mma instead due to no Thai gyms in my area, 27 now and it’s still the same. Be cool to see where tito ends up with the his Muay Thai in years to come will for sure be following his journey the kid is exceptionally good. Amazing coaching also
❤️🔥🙏🙏🙏
I'm glad this video came up on my YT algorithm. It made me smile to see your bond with your students and to see other black folks throwing sweet leg kicks and training muay thai. Awesome video and great, informative and light-hearted teaching!
Thank you for the kind words! 🙏🙌
This young man is nasty with it at an early age!! Stay humble, stay a true student and continue to blossom 💪🏾 With great power comes great responsibility lol fr
Bro is preparing to beat jon jones's descendants
Your son remind me of the young Thai fighters.
They teeth on this art!!.....I raised my children like that, in MMA for the street, based on JKD Principles.
My base arts being Karate, Muay Thai, Western Boxing, as well as Panantukan and Dumog, of course.
They are all grown now. And my youngest step daughter is the deadliest of all.
An absolute martial machine!
🙏 Respect
had the opportunity of sharing the ring with this team once, solid style and was a honor
You are an excellent teacher and props to the little Lion king, he has a good kick for his age.
🙏🙏🙏
really good breakdowns, could see he got more whip in just this session
Awesome, thnx for watching! 🙏
Thank you so much for the lecture video I am a 44-year-old Muay Thai beginner living in Korea It's more helpful than any other video I've seen on UA-cam
You're very welcome & thank you for the kind words! 🤩🙏🙏
Pretty much how i was taught. Beautiful video! Keep on him with that breath! Don’t matter what sounds you make, long as it’s loud and your opponent can hear you!
I love when coaches are this social
Great teacher!! Its all in the small movements and details that make a Muay Thai roundhouse a hell of a whip!
Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for these videos. The way you break stuff down is very helpful alongside the training i do at my home gym.
Our pleasure! ❤️🔥🙏🙏
WOW to watch a coach develop a fighter on UA-cam is a treat. Great work from both thanks a bunch
Much appreciated 🙏🙌
Look at Tito!!!! 😮😮😮 holy crap, TJ!! I expect nothing less of the thinking man’s son! I remember when you posted that video of him upset about having to train early when you guys were in Thailand. Now you can see his passion and beautiful technique!
I’m gonna show Izzy this video.
Beautiful tips coach! Thank you for these :)
Have a blessed day!
Ty , much more content otw ! 🙏🙏
I remember seeing Charles in the 2019 Tiger Muay Thai tryout documentary on UA-cam and even then I thought, this dude has a cool energy and the mixup with the other dude with the same exact name was funny and it was awesome how Tiger Muay Thai was like, you know what come on out you seem legit. Clearly the man is, in fact, legit. Happy to see this and I am definitely hitting that like and subscribe
I CAN SEE THIS YOUN MAN BEING A FUTURE STAR.
❤️🔥🙏🙏🙌
Hey brother I subbed because of this video. I have two sons as well and I’d like to have the ability to train them in this. Great patience on your part without cutting out fundamentals.
Good stuff. Kid's got better technique than 99% of UFC roster 😂🎉🥊 🙏🇺🇸
555 Ty for the compliment 🙏🙏🏽
@@KMAAcademy2020 if I go to Thailand, in the summer for a short duration-2 weeks-do I have a better chance of getting a fight booked vs like another time of the year? Thanks!
@@JohnLocke1776 if you go to the right area you can go any time of year and fight, they have fights literally every day of the week in some places.
@@KMAAcademy2020 was thinking Changmai. Would you recommend or like rather Issan/Phuket
@@JohnLocke1776 Chiang mai is every day fight bangkok every week but i think you need AT liste 1 month to fight 2 weeks IS too short you body need one week to adapt AT the weather and training plus in one month you're technique Can really become good in one month
That kick is art right there.
Trained alongside you and your wife @ Sitjaopho years back. nice to see you are doing great. best regards from Norway.
Awesome! Thank you! 🙏
Excellent coaching and direction. Technique is beautiful
Many thanks 🙏🙌
Kid has awesome technique and a great teacher!
Great work coach, extremely helpful 👏 kids got a great future ahead of him
A lot of really good insightful commentary. This was great!
Much appreciated!
Good video. Glad you had a student to teach real time.
Thanks for watching! ✅
Your kid's tecnique is awesome! Congrats!
Thank you! Cheers! 🙏🙏
Excellent tips! Little man has a great kick, I wish I started at his age
You and me both!
Great coaching! Kid got great form except for the lack of core engaging exhalation as I like to call it, got that fixed too.
Some just call it shouting but it's really not, it's more of a exhalation that creates any sound one like to make to activate the core muscles in the body before impact.
Great observation! Thx for watching 🙏
Those were the tips I was looking for! Big thanks to you and man, that kid got some kicks! Wow!
Glad those details were helpful! 🔥
I have been struggling with my kicks lately, going to be working on these techniques in the gym tomorrow. Thanks!!
You got this!
I wish i started at that age.
Good training.
I love that relax tip. I recently started training and the grunt was an issue for me being introverted 😂
You got this!
Nice tips and love the look of the studio/gym!
Ty! 🙏🙌
Great video, taught me a lot.
Glad to hear it!
Wish you had added hand combinations to setup the kick.
fantastic instruction, proper grunt at the end too! 🙏🏾
Glad you liked it!
Our coach always keeps repeating "relax, relax, relax, loose, loose, loose, no tight". I still find relaxing the hardest part of the sport 😂
Love that! 🙏
You're a good teacher/coach. Nice.
We thank you for the kind words! 🙏🙌
Feel like this going to help me massively, my switch kick always feels more relaxed than my rear kick. Maybe its the little bounce that helps relax leg.
Thanks guys
Just found this channel, superb.
Welcome aboard! 🤩🙏🙏
Great instruction
Thank you
Thanks for this lesson !
Our pleasure, thanks for watching! 🤩✅
Very good on teaching the kiai coach, not talked about more often. Its one of those things that come easier to some than others. This young man trying to learn on top of the pressure of being filmed, much props! I personally find it very natural but would lose sleep over having to do karaoke or dance on a stage, 🤣strange phobia. A more unorthodox approach is sniffing salts, ammonia, give that a try coach it will put fire in their bellies to find their kiai. 👏
Good lort. Good work ❤
Greatly appreciated bro 🙏🏽 definitely needed to see this
Thank you, Give it a try and let us know how much it improves you! 🙏
Great coaching!

Amazing coach
Ty for the kind words! 🙏🙌
This was very informative to go along with my style
Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful kicks!! Can you do a tutorial going through the technique from the very basics?

Awesome!@@KMAAcademy2020
Students becomes great for a reason.. And thats we😊call by the name of teacher ❤😊😊😊
❤️🔥🙏🙏
Thats good! Solid technique.. as it gets better the bounce becomes less obvious, you don’t want to get into the habit of telegraphing the kicks..
awesome lesson, thank you for sharing :).

This kid got a nice kick💕💕💕
Hello from Thailand🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕
Kap koon mak krab 🙏
@@KMAAcademy2020 🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍
superb tutorial!
I like the technique of the bounce in, but I have always been taught not to break my stance. I think the 2 elements can still be combined without bringing the feet together. I’m gonna go experiment.
Beautiful technique!
Thank you! Much more technique focused content on the way 🙏
Great advice. I'm gonna go to the gym and try it. :)
Great lesson!
Thanks! 😃

Nice kick, young man 👍
Relax. Great point.
Worked on my kicks last night. Wish I'd had all this in my mind!
Try it during your next session and let is know how it worked for you!🙏🙏
@@KMAAcademy2020 I found that consciously moving 'on the bounce' was a brilliant tip. I shadow boxed to get my rhythm right and kicked in time to the music ONLY when I felt that I was moving lightly on my feet. I built my kicks from there. I'm going to incorporate this into my training regularly. Thank you for the advice!
Strong whips at 3:49 and 6:48 👍👍
Brilliant video 💪💯🙏
Thank you 🙌
@@KMAAcademy2020 🙏🔥
How awesome
His technique is great
Kap koon mak krab 🙏
I know what coach telling with that whip movement, that sweet sweet sound too. The kid’s awesome
Ty for the kind words, we have much more content being produced daily! Be sure to subscribe if you’re keen 🙏🙌🙌
1:09 Dut dut dut dut dut dut dut dut.
Respect.
Is the bounce just to help with relaxing with the kick and then you’d remove it? Or is it a set up for this style of kick?
Great question, initially it’s used to teach you how to relax and whip your body into it but when you get better you can use it for setups or to even as a feint to open up the opponent’s defense. More of a “Muay Femur” style . Thnx for watching 🙏🙏
@@KMAAcademy2020 thank you for sharing man great coaching going to give this a try in my next session 🙏
Good stuff brother. I'm subbing
Thanks for the sub! 🙏🙌
Wow this is good!
Ty ! ✅🙏
Good skills
You Sir are an amazing teacher. Amazing pad session.
If I would have to add my 2 cents I would add to turn the head to the left (more) when kicking. Helps me to really turn my upper body. I still see something with my peripheral view.
dont do this. this is something that many noobs do and a bad habbit that needs time to get rid off later on
@@LowKickMT Buakaw does it this way. It's a trade off of power for defensive awarness. There is no single right way. ua-cam.com/video/rRsX3SaxKNg/v-deo.htmlsi=xselSdD_Tg1s62uW
Look at 2:36 the thais explanation. The head should not fight the rotation of the body
When you body kick you should always look at the target . If you need to turn more simply step out with the lead foot more. Thnx for watching
~Charles Johnson
Like Simba learning to roar
That’s funny, Tito fight name is The Lion King 🙏🙌
With the relaxing part. Do you relax your whole body and tense at the last moment before the kick hits? Or do you generally just relax your body even when your kicks hit?
Relax the whole way , less tense, more whip, thx for watching 🙏✅
@@KMAAcademy2020 thank you very much for replying. I have a tendency to tense at the lest second, thinking it adds power. Great videos btw and very informative. 🙌
sometimes i see people do this at the gym and i don't know how they can generate that whip force!
We hope this gives you some clarity 🙏🙏
@@KMAAcademy2020 Teacher, I notice in first video it says to kick to body when in close; but in this video I may have misunderstood but it seems to say do not kick to body, but kick to arm when in close? Can you please clarify for me sir?
Great มวยไทย tutorial
Seen homeboy at Sitjaophos a few years back.
yes Coach Charles trained and fought under Sitjaopho for over 3 years and then became a sponsored fighter @ Phuket Fight Club, thnx for watching 🙏🙌
Do you bend your shin horizontally on impact with the right kick? Some gyms tell me to do it and some gyms tell me not to and idk which one is wrong
Download our FREE 8 Limbs Basics Tutorial, it covers all the Nak Muay weapons! We think you’ll enjoy it, link is in the Pinned Comment 🙌✅
goddam lil man got them legs
🔥🔥🔥🔥
come on young one, get your fierce noise going
This kid is ready🔥🔥bring in Jon Jones🥊🥊
How he went do do do do do do whilst bouncing reminds me of super lek
Haha , great observation, Coach Charles got it from his trainer Phet-Tho when he lived in Thailand 🇹🇭
How old is he? Kicks are 🔥🔥🔥
He just turned 13
@@KMAAcademy2020 Awesome, my eldest is turning 12 been doing Muay Thai for just over a year. But his nowhere as good as yours.
Why would you build in a tell before you kick, into your technique?
It’s a drill to develop your whip. Thx for watching
Look at John Haggerty. That bounce isn't necessary a tell because you can throw different things off it. You can use it as the equivalent of a hip feint. Switch off of it. Teep off of it. Throw a jab.
Haggerty is a master of this
@@Gorillali Haggerty's style is beautiful to watch...footwork, movement, power, speed, and deception. He has all the tools.
When im teaching kids i call it the lions breath whilst answering the ph and pulling the handle with th
Double shuffle ,when I teach a kick I teach them to touch opposite ear to engage hips fully in roundhouse kicks and return foot 1 step back out of range as fast as you kick .
ซ้อมได้ดีเทรนเหมือนคนไทยเลย
🙏🏼🤍🙏🏼
Your teaching him to rhythm step before striking
❤
Why lil dood sound like a GROWN MAN! 😂😂
I feel like there's something here, but it looks like a stutter step and telegraphing. Coach?
This is a drill that teaches you how to relax your body and kick faster, you develop the ability to capitalize on that during sparring and then during fighting, thx for watching ✅✅
oh shit it's tim meadows
😅 good one
