Traue keinem Fremden dann
So viel Albtraum, so viel Wahn
Und so glauben wir bis heute
Schwer bewaffnet ist die Meute
Ach, sie können es nicht lassen
Schreien Feuer in die Gassen
Und die Furcht wächst in die Nacht
Gar kein Auge zugemacht
Der Rücken nass, die Hände klamm
Alle haben Angst vorm schwarzen Mann
Wer hat Angst vorm schwarzen Mann
Wer hat Angst vorm schwarzen Mann
Wer hat Angst vorm schwarzen Mann
Wer hat Angst
Und die Furcht wächst in die Nacht
Gar kein Auge zugemacht
Die Rücken nass, die Hände klamm
Alle haben Angst

#Rammstein #Angst #ZEITkommt
absolutely one of my favorite tracks from Rammstein, especially for being so recent, just shows that this band has aged like a fine wine, rather than like milk... in the sun... during summertime... at Arizona.
Rammstein did a great job with this album. If anyone even thought that they were in decadence, this album proves them wrong. 😉
die schlafen ein bisschen :)
Suzi got it. She also looked like she wanted to smack Travis for pausing it at 8:28. :D
I felt the same tbh
We all did! Haha
He has no clue lol
I love Suzi, she usually gets it so I wish she'd do more of an analysis rather than just react. Like when they did Spring and she nailed it
No, she didn't get it. Rammsteins "Angst" refers to the refugee crisis having occured the last decade turning up societies all across Europe to the brink of disruption, with mass media feeding people with fake news and lies, brainwashing people, making them suspicious of each other, up to the point, where they get at each other's throat, though those refugees (depicted here as a woman and a child), seeking shelter and help, pose no threat to anyone of us. The imagery and the lyrics have not much to do with the corona crisis and isolation actually, as Suzi might think.
I am a 61 year old Aussie mum who loves Rammstein thanks to my son when he was a teenager. Would love to see them live. My boy is still a Rammstein freak and the only tattoo that he has is the bands logo on his upper arm. They never disappoint and their videos are out of this world.
I'm a 72 year old Aussie great grand father and I've been listening to Rammstein for ages, they are so on point, their imagery is effective, I don't speak German but I get their songs, but then I'm a guitar player that made my living playing guitar up and down the east coast of Australia to some wild crowds and endured some crazy after parties. They are a great band, my 4 children and 8 grand children think I'm cool 'cause I play guitar, ride a bike, live alone, (my ex-wife sadly passed early this year after her 2nd jab, yeah I know, believe me I know), and I like Rammstein, FFDP are good too, but Ramm' have that flavour, great band.
@@JP-se3ti you’re a great grandfather? You must have started young, my son is 31 and no grandchildren for me yet.. I also loved Lindemann and my boy got to meet Til and have his pic taken with him on a promo a few years back. I really wanted to go but wasn’t going to make him take his mum so he took his mate. I’m sorry about your ex wife. I love my ex hubby, just in a different way now but would be heartbroken if I lost him.💕
@@karenglenn6707 yes we did start young, me 20 she 18, I have 27 year old grandson, I too still love my ex wife, just couldn't live with her, no one has taken her place since we parted 31 years ago, made a pact that our children must always come first, that pact prevailed, family is as strong as ever, I keep telling them, 'individually we are strong, together we are invincible' no one gets left behind, anyway great that you have those experiences with your son, would really like to see Rammstein live with my tribe oneday, stay safe, stay well, cheers
@@JP-se3ti my ex husband and I had 2 stillborn babies and we just weren’t strong enough together to get over it. I had a 5 yr old son when we met and he is still my boys dad, that is who Daniel rings for Fathers Day. So even though there is no legal connection anymore he is the best dad to my son and loves him as his own (Daniel’s sperm donor father doesn’t bother with him) but he has Tony and to him that’s his dad. My love to you, we may have not stayed with our exes but they were good ones. Xx
@@karenglenn6707So sorry to hear about your babies, it must have been so traumatic. It is good to know that there are 'good ones', my 'tribe' make feel and know that I am in the right place with them, love to you and yours also, thanks for the 'xx's returned in kind, xx
Hey guys, I understand the song and the video as follows:
1. The song is about how certain "leaders" and media want to scare people to control them. In the video, this is visualised by the red wires, computer screens an TV. Also, the entertainig industry is helping (commercials, online shopping), represented by the cheerleaders.
2. The dominant colors in the video are black, white and red, which could be a reference to the colors of the flag of the Kaiserreich and the Third Reich. Also, you can say that the world the people in this video are living in, is just black and white, not much grey. It can be understood as a reference to the simple minded people who are for example voting for politicians who are telling them exactly this black/white view (WE are good, THEY are bad). Also, the band is dressed up as the stereotype of this kind of conservative people. Did you noticed that the world in the video changed to color when Till destroyed the TV?
3. "Der schwarze Mann" (The black man) is a german synonym for a creepy, ghost-like evil. As in the first verse of the song, children are often told "to obey, or else the black man will get you". It can be translated to boogey man in english, but like often, there is another meaning in this context. As said, the video is about leaders who are seeding fear of anything foreign in peoples minds. So, the phrase "black man" can also be interpreted literally, namely refugees. In my opinion, it is a reference to the migration crisis in 2015 in Germany,. Or just remember the plans for a wall on the Mexican border...
4. Fear is deviding society, in the beginning they are all peaceful neighbours, then bulding walls "to protect" themselves and in the end the whole society collaps.
Greetings from Germany!
its just the thought from me but i think that the red strings who are always behind or connected to something's like the TV's represents the bad influence or the bad thought behind the message
I feel like Till as a leader in a straightjacket is very fitting for how leaders around the world are acting in this day and age. Psykopaths.
All the details in the video, actually point to US, and "the man with yellow hair", who's both insane and ignorant,
but freed from his prison and his straightjacket, and is very loud, when instilling fear in the brains of the naive
"herd of sheep" who listens to his psycho's bullshit. Next episode in November 2024, in the White House. LOL.
Rammstein ❤ the best band ever 🔥🔥🔥
They're all like in their 50s now and still have so much fucking energy. Amazing!!
50 is the new 30 in the West
@@norwaydude4798 which West?
@@norwaydude4798 West of the truth. I'm 37 and jealous of their energy!😢
New Rammstein album also, titled "ZEiT"(Time)... waiting for more nice Rammstein reactions from you guys🤘
Hell yes, we need reaction to Zeit and Zick Zack too 🤘
@@slavkaradosinska8451 and Dicke Titten with subtitles in English PLEASE😆
The starting point is the family, a father threatening the naughty child with the "black man" or boogeyman. But we soon see countries and peoples arming themselves against what they don't understand and thus fear. A powerful chorus challenges idle scapegoating: "Who's afraid of the boogeyman"
The song has its roots in an eighteenth-century German playground game, Black Man, a game bound up in folklore and plague history, and there are more hints of Goethe’s famous ‘Erlkönig’ (‘King of the Elves’) poem, in which a goblin comes to steal a child as the incarnation of fear. But with the householders locking themselves away, we certainly hear warnings about COVID and Fortress Europe.
And the ''cheerleaders'' will sell us the bricks, the intelligence and the weapons...
@@TheAshes789 100%
Also there's literally a black family watching from behind barbed wires while you can translate the lyrics literally as being afraid of black men. I think the hints to the fate of refugees and racism are quite obvious
This albüm is simply Masterpiece And top for me 🔥🤟💪 İts also about Media.
great reaction! the whole album is a total masterpiece
Fucking spot on
The whole album is full of powerful songs - It'll probably be my "album of the year".
This is such a fantastic album and Angst is my favourite song on it.
YeaH - you did it again! New Album is called Zeit (Time) and it is darker then every Album before. This Track called Angst (Fear) and it is so familiar. Absolutely Love waching you watching them, ups ..
thanks for reacting....this basically showing the German equivalent of the boogeyman. In other words, it is a fictional entity that German parents - or more specifically, according to the first verse, fathers - use to scare their children into behaving as instructed even when daddy is not around to watch them. And how we end up doing is developing the practice of guarding ourselves against threats that aren’t really out there, this may result in some people being afraid of strangers. This fear can even result in something like group violence or even warfare.
Best reaction I've seen so far to Angst ..it's so deep and such a skull crusher! Thanks so much ..I keep catching little nuances I somehow missed the first dozen times... RAMMSTEIN are just a machine on a whole different level...thanks again Chicago in September...CANT FKNG WAIT!
I love ❤ this song and the cheerleaders, awesome 👌
You guys HAVE to make a reaction video on Rammstein - Zick Zack. Not as deep as Angst but still pretty darn good. And funny as f*** 😂
You guys hit the nail on the head without even knowing German. I think it’s about how the media “feeds” us with division, paranoia, and fear. The dancers are literally cheerleaders for the bogey man (der schwarze Mann, in German) and the wires connect like IVs to Till, who symbolizes the bogeyman incarnate.
Suzi, your're looking so, so good, better than ever
boobs
The color coming back at the end is Till fucking up the TV, bringing it from black and white to color (nuance) again. Instead of seeing everything black and white, we are finally seeing that there is more to everything than that.
Zick Zack, Zick Zack must react lol. Different tempo. Fun video !!!
I love it when Rammstein goes dark. Epic tune
Yes guys my favourite vid and song, amazing, also some after sun needed lol thanks guys roll on June in Cardiff
Well im happy i see some reactions where the reactors actually understand what they are getting at. Fantastic!
Thank you for a great reaction video!
The cheerleader moves including the chanting in the beginning and the end are probably referencing the "Haka Dance" done by the Maori, the indigenous people of New Zealand. It is supposed to intimidate your opponent. Rumour has it that Oliver Riedel, the band's bass player, is one of the cheerleaders. But that has not been confirmed yet, AFAIK. The candy which the band eats in the end was called "Negerküsse" "Negro Kisses" back in the day. The name was changed a couple of years ago.
Ich meine eher das es der Schlachtruf der Isländer ist bei der Fußball EM.
Reminds me of Black Hole Sun for some reason. The smiles and the feeling of impending doom at the same time. Even the lawnmowers and the man in the TV. The red and black whirlwind is also there. Is this a tribute to Soundgarden? Edit: Just watched Black Hole Sun again and the scene where they fall into the black and red whirlwind is also there. Rammstein is really playing 4D chess with us
I happily await every Rammstein album since I first heard Engle and Du reichst so gut and am NEVER let down.
They'll forever be my favourite Industrial metal band. 😎
Thanks Rudy.
You are great with analyzing the video on the go!
There is actually a video with English subtitles. You should do the title track Zeit
Very good analysis. Greetings from Kassel, germany
First of all, I love 90% of Rammstein's music, some right away when I hear it for the first time, such as "Zeit", other songs after listening to it several times. The video and the lyrics of this song "Angst" are perfect, but musically it doesn't touch me even after 15th time listening. Greetings from Germany.
Bro, your face at 2:15 is cracking me up😂😂 love your reactions!!
There's always a purpose and message behind any of the tracks and MVs of Rammstein
Amo sus reacciones ♥️ 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Flake is acting like he’s playing a guitar while playing his keyboard
OMG i looove this Song. I love the Complete Album 🖤I hope you can React to ZEIT and ZICK ZACK . Rammstein are one of my fave Bands and im so happy to see them live next Month here in Germany 😈🤘 THX for your great Reaction .
Adoro ouvir Hammstein, Incrível essa banda sempre surpreende, ficou otimo
As always I do love your reactions! But I have one idea for your next reaction. Could you maybe read the lyrics in english before the reaction? :) Because i would really love to see your reaction with the knowledge of what the song is about. Thank you as always and greetings from Germany. You guys rock!
i would love to see you're reaction on Rammstein Zeit its really good keep it up! :D
love you guys..greatings from ger.
Such a nice couple ... like your reactions. Greetings from Germany. *muah*♥
My theory about meaning of this video is next.
People been living together in peace, neighbors weren't afraid of eachother, just enjoying their life, then some people (conspiracy theory) brought madman leader(recent situation in Ukraine where Putin attacked Ukraine and brought fear and lies to Russians by using media).
Then all of a sudden people who were neighbors and lived happily, started building wall around them, placing cameras and watching their neighbours because they were told that they wana kill them, etc. Started buying guns , expecting to be "Attacked" by neighbour and eventually stated making first shots due to fear which has been brought by mad leader on TV, and killed themselves.
Yeaaaahhhhhh! 🤘🤩🤘
I hope you will do a reaction to "Lindemann" (side project of Till). That stuff is mindblowing too, for example "Fish on" or "Ich hasse Kinder". I'm pretty shure, you will like it.
Hey por fin ya se habian tardado ya que ustedes son de los mejores reaccionadores de Rammstein espero reaccion de zig zag y dickie titen saludos de Mexico amigos
There are so many layers of entangled metaphors in this video. It's pure genius.
But one thing you missed is that Till wasn't being fed this stuff, he was the source. If he was being fed anything here it was the fear being generated by the bile he was spewing. Not sure how the director could've squeezed that aspect in as well.
Hello everyone. I'm German and I've known rammstein for so long that I can't even remember when I heard them for the first time. But one thing is for sure, they treat the first topics in their own way and leave room for interpretation, like in this song angst. in which they sing about the black man and no that has nothing to do with the color of the skin, it's about the boogeyman and fear itself. We are so busy in our time looking at our fears and our surroundings (media, radio, etc.) fuel this fear, and in the end we are so scared that we arm ourselves and shoot ourselves because we know nothing but fear. So mega cool the song is so bitter it is, but at the same time honest and real. Don't live in fear folks.
Awesome review!!!
I like your observations!
The RED ‘link’ in Many recent videos is the clear Message
Rammstein ich liebe diese Band
Nice react 💜🙏 new Rammstein album is a masterpiece
flake was in early bass-guitar BTW before he began the keyboard by Feeling B
Hi again, i have just watched a new video With Rammstein. My favorite band, its Calles Dicke Titten go watch it😄😄😄. I felt it like a Good punch in the heart. I recomended it highly.
with English subtitles PLEASE 😆
No hay como los video reacciones de los reyes de éste canal, la otra video reacción no me terminó de gustar del todo.
So cooool!
RAMMSTEIN " ZEIT " !!!
Yuo have so fantastic cann. Rammstein is so good.
what the fuck! Have you seen Rammstein´s fucking new video "Adieu?" Another cinematic and musically masterpiece!!!
At the end of the video, they are eating "flødeboller" (at least what they're called in Danish). I tried to find an English translation, and the most accurate is "chocolate covered marshmallow". When I saw it, I was curious to see how many outside Europe knew what it was :P the inside is quite sticky and sugary
The songs means..
You learnt as a kid to be scared of the monster "black-man" he comes in the night if you sleep and that's in all peoples mind... Scared of the black man
I'm waiting for "Zeist" and "Zick Zack" reactions from you guys!
You have to watch Rammstein - Zeit Originalvideo with english subtitles. It will blow your mind!
Rammstein 🤟❤️❤️
You should have put the subs on, to understand the lyrics. That's very important for the songs of Rammstein and there are mostly good ones included in their videos.
Yes 👍🤘😍

this look you traw at him when he paused XDDDD slap him when he do this
Dont forget CC's on their videos :) ,
my top 5 are
1. Angst 2. Zeit 3. Deutschland 4. Mein Herz Brennt 5. Mutter
Greetings from Munich Germany
Ihr geht mir auf den Keks!
i strongly recommend you "Zeit" for the next reaction
Yeah... Song about the "boogeyman", being afraid of the unknown (and the "unknown" here being not just something what isn't known, but also something what has been around all the time and what people would know more about if they'd only took some time to look into it), overcompensating against it. Especially nowadays, when social media keeps pushing on these "unknown but huge threats", twisting facts and people blindly believe in that nonsense, without stopping for a moment, using own brain and doing some investigation to form own opinion. How companies behind those social media sites thrive from sowing this nonsense, because it makes more and more people use them, gives them power over their minds, their thoughts. Force them to build walls around them, making them more separated, so that they'd look even more for those sites, for their nonsense, to feel "connected".
Basically nowadays "zombie" people who walk around, their eyes only on their phones, who live in and for the social media only and who believe that anything what's talked there is the truth and frees them from making own choices, doing own investigation, even having a little "looksee".
Social Media doesn't push anything. It's people and bubbles within social media.
@@prinz_butterbrot262 Quote the opposite. In a long past perhaps yes, it was barely more then a glorified bulletin board. Now, it's a completely different beast, with them enforcing new rules after every while, telling what you can and cannot say, with whom you can and cannot talk, who can and cannot use it, while playing off the "we're for freedom of speech and expression" message in which they don't believe a bit and laugh about it. These "people" and "bubbles" are now simply basic pawns in a game bigger then they are. And sad thing is, as this song also shows, that they're happy to be those pawns.
love your idea about the meaning.....i am german.....i understand the song is about the german people....just following the flow....escaping the reality by doing things they get told to do...INCLUDING WATCHING TV which is destroyed in the end....just my thought. cheers from vietnam.
Well Angst means Fear and we only see the world in Black or White because "Media" tells us what we need to hear (especially in the Time of this War, East World hears the "opposite" of the West) and bringing back the color destroying the TV shows that the should make our own "picture" of the world. It has nothing to do specially to "german people". But thats just the Video Meaning. The Music itself the meaning to the "Blackman/Boogeyman" has BOTH meaning to it which slightly reflects to racism due to "fear to Foreigners ("Black" people just as ONE example not them at their own) and also boogeyman as they ARE a German Band known in northern world basically are demons which also reflects to the way they interpretated it as the isolation with the circles and walls made people more depressed, feared, angry, black white thinking.. so as always Rammstein leaves room for so many "right" interpretations of the Video and Song, could be Isolation, could be Racism, could be Media, could be Corona etc.
You are right, it´s a song about isolation and fear for the unknown. Angst vorm Schwarzen Mann can have two meanings! Schwarzer Mann translate Black Man/Alien or Bogeyman! in Germany parents say to her children: When you not brave the "Schwarze Mann"/Bogeyman will catch you at night!
I soo want a making of video to see what the cheerleading actresses thought
It would be nice, if you would also react to Armee der Tristen (live and normal). It’s my fav of the new album
Da geht mir einer ab !!!!!!!
вот это женщина !!!!!!
You should check their new Zeit and Angst videos from the Zeit album.
Great reaction but my man face is something 😂
Fear sold to everybody.
Super.Grüße an euch.-Super.greetings to you.-))🙋♂👍
"Seht weniger fern dann seht ihr mehr durch!" ;-)
The note at the end of the video is also interesting. when Till due destroys mass media, the gray of life determined by others becomes a colorful world again....
Ich Liebe Rrrrrrammstein
Nitzer Ebb is a must EBM band
Voldemort got it wrong. If you wanna make a horcrux..pause during a kick ass song XD
Angs means fear.. it explais a lot of video 👍 deeply song tells fear against black man 😅 greetings from finland 🤟
I advise you to react to the song "Knebel" from Till's solo project. Watch the official video and you won't regret it. I've been a Rammstein fan for 25 years now. Till is great.
Check out "weit weg" from the Album of 2019
I love how they used a legit Viking chant in the song.
Vikings were Germanic
Rammstein Song Zeit is Amazing (Album Zeit)
What is the chorus in your intro song? I'm hearing "LOTION!" Nannanananblablah... "LOTION"..... nananablabla..... "LOTION".... nanawhatchadoininwithmylotion......
Tnak you. If interesting i create some 4K Remastered Rammstein videos.
Till's black metal voice😄
Everything is also "filmed" in circle like motion... HAHA
ZICK ZAAACK
Я вас люблю 😄😻👍
Everyone is afraid of the black man. If you're blown away by the video and music without understanding the lyrics, you have no idea of how much it all changes when you understand that last part of the art (lyrics).
