Because in the very first season of yugioh having no monsters on your field during an opponent's turn was an instant loss. Essentially, *any* direct attack was a winning attack.
It's basically easy. It's almost all the same as the Royal Library Exodia, but you just change a couple cards in it. Flying Elephant you want 1-2 not more Osiris the Heaven Dragon (Slifer the Executive Producer) Give and Take Powerful Rebirth Pseudo Space Chicken Game
Thanks for showing me how to use that card well I always wondered how to use it like that that's crazy never knew it could be that op your opponent had no chance....
Ah yes, an oft-forgotten member of that exclusive and august club of duel winner cards. Three Exodias, two gods, two puppets, a dragon, an angel, a ouija board, an unpronounceable mess, a timer, a sports event, a slot machine, and a plucky little flying elephant. (Yes, Phantasm Spiral Force is technically a trap related to a dragon rather than the dragon itself, but I could not get it to flow).
Wow.... I was at 20 seconds into this combo and randomly started thinking of that Flying elephant card and how easy it is to pull off that effect, wondering why nobody plays it.
It's actually _harder_ to pull this off than Exodia. Yes, you *technically* only need to _play_ 4 cards for the combo to work (2 revival cards, 1 reviving to your opponent's side, and something to give an ATK boost to Elephant) but that's not *everything.* You also need to come across Slifer, Elephant, *AND* Neco Mane King. Meaning that you need to get *SEVEN* very specific cards out of the deck at the right time rather than just 5. Yes, some of those cards can go to the GY like the monsters so they're capable of being discarded off of things like Dark World Dealings, but it doesn't change the fact that your trading a deck that has 5 Garnets for a deck that has 7.
@@Creat0rXYZ You could say that about pretty much *any* strategy. Just because a hand trap is *available,* doesn't mean many people _use_ them. The only ones I can think of that are remotely played are D.D. Crow and Ghost Belle, and it feels like I encounter those like 1 out of every 100 duels. Yes, you have things like Psy Gamma and Effect Veiler that can negate monster effects but, newsflash, those would be used on Royal Magical Library and Treasure Panda. You know, the things that Exodia FTK decks also *entirely* rely on?
@@TheTaintedWisdom there are more hand traps available to counter this combo because it allows a second turn, albeit during the draw phase... This means quick spells become viable like Forbidden Droplet, Forbidden Chalice, Called by the Grave (on Slifer), as well as traps like Red Reboot and Impermanence (maybe even a second one after a failed attempt after assuming Exodia FTK) There are less hand trap options available to counter a regular Exodia deck with just drawing, searching, and Royal Magical Library turbo
1:52 - I know the clip is supposed to be for comedic effect but it's not apt in the slightest. The whole reason Slifer is used in this combo is that its effect is mandatory. Also, It's actually _harder_ to pull this off than Exodia. Yes, some of those cards can go to the GY like the monsters so they're capable of being discarded off of things like Dark World Dealings, but it doesn't change the fact that your trading a deck that has 5 Garnets for a deck that has 7. The one advantage this deck has over Exodia is that you can get the Comback victory bonus of 1800 points on the duel result screen. Which, combined with the default 1500 points for winning the duel would get you 2 extra rewards. This is because, while both decks use things like Upstart Goblin and Chicken Game, you can't get the Comback bonus unless your lifepoints were lower than your opponents during the *PREVIOUS* turn. And since there's almost nothing your opponent can do to stop Neco Mane King's effect from going off and ending the turn instantly, this is the safest way to pass to your opponent without risking them doing something to FTK you or mess up your win condition.
Yes and no. Pegasus had called a kid from the audience, wanting to prove that even a child could beat Keith, and gave him a piece of paper with something written on it. Keith summoned Garnecia Elefantis, and the kid, named Sam, put down Flying Elephant down as the paper instructed him to play the card to counter Garnecia Elefantis.
