I've been dabbling in Master Duel the past few days, but it's been like two or three years so there's a ton of cards and archetypes and updated support I know nothing about. The Branded stuff showing up in these videos all the time? Totally unfamiliar. The turn timer is making it really hard to duel because there's no time to read everything new to me and still plan my own moves. And I know that if you summon Quadrantids using two non-ritual Drytrons it could have attacked EVERYTHING. As soon as I saw him sack another copy of Quadrantids for it... I figured he f*cked up.

As a drytron main i freaken hate seeing it played with herald there are so many good ritual monsters to use and so many fun combos but all i ever see is just herald negate.
@@andrewseet4408 well there ritual spell is the best one I've seen ever since it ritual summons base on atk and not lvl. The highest atk on rituals I've seen is 4k so they can summon almost any ritual monster with 2 or less monsters. So just look up ritual monsters and see what fits your play style. I for one use the cyber angels with mostly with odd-eyes for some disruption and blue eyes chaos max when I need a big swing. While there not meta or super broken they are fun and satisfying to pull off.
Well, i admit Herald / Dryton was the first deck i was attempting to build bec ive always been a control oriented player. But when i was rolling for cards, i ended up getting 2 Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and an Oviraptor in my 1st week... and decided: eh, lets go Dino beatdown. While the deck KINDA holds its own... lets just say that Ashblossom countering my Ultra Evo Pill definitely will cripple me...
ehhh they are still there. just not as consistent since Benten was made limited so they have to do a much longer combo to set up the herald board. Most herald player just switched to Floowandereze or swordsoul.

Basically used a Level 12 Tribute for Draconids means nothing. He had Gamma (Level 1) and Drytron Mu Beta as tribute (or the material xyz) then he could punch really really really hard.

Fellow drytron players, please read your cards. Draconids is actually a really good boss monster. It does more than quick effect destroy on a 4k body. I memed on a stealth kragen player because I read my cards. This can be you too. Come on. We can do more than enable herald.
Honestly, Drytrons aren't that bad by themselves. A good deck with interaction possibilities. Fun to play with and against. Drytron Herald can piss off though.

It is not, it has an effect to detach 1 material to reduce the ATK off all off the opponents monsters by 1000 but no battleprotection
