As an enamel pin maker myself if you plan on making more pins with soft enamel ask your manufacturer to add an epoxy top coat. This will actually seal in everything and make it more durable! My preference is hard enamel but soft enamel is fun as well. You can even ask for dyed metal when you do soft enamel pins. Also don't be afraid to play around with effects. Glitter is always a nice added touch for some sparkle ✨️

You got this! You're almost done! Keep up the great work! I finished my associates degree for graphic design last year. It was honestly the easiest semester I had compared to when I first started, but I know that every school is different. I can honestly say that I have not used my degree too much because of what I create but occasionally I will use it for small projects for my family/friends if they ask me to do some photos photoshop, or add text to an image or something like that. It's nice to have some support, they could've asked someone more experienced but instead they chose me which makes me feel so grateful to gain experience in what having a client is like.

Finish school sweetie! Your super close to getting that degree! I'm sure your parents will be amazed at all your hard work and dedication. Plus, I'm sure that degree will come in handy someday when you really need it or least expect it. Your doing great with your handmade biz and I'm sure you've inspired so many others out there to share their art with the world as well. I feel the college pressure for sure. I have one semester left as well but what I ultimately want is to have my own small business. I had one degree change along the way from medical to business but I'm just shooting for the finish line being the first in my family to go to college. I think I was feeling done with college when I initially switched degrees but let's get it!! We're almost there!! You're not alone 😊

I stumbled across your UA-cam channel recently, and you have been inspiring me so much! I am a second-year student and for a while, I have been feeling stuck with what I want to pursue. I am an artist but have always told myself that becoming a "starving artist" is not realistic. I look at you and see such a hard-working student/businesswoman, and truly I am learning a lot by watching your channel and seeing how much you have learned over the years. My last year of university finishing my degree was a serious slog, but I am so glad I kept at it and finished.

Def feeling you on the school thought process. I am in the arts as well and it feels like I’d be more successful/less stressed if I wasn’t in school, but I also only have one semester left 😭

Never never never give up. It is a lot easier to finish than to drop out and then decide you want to finish and go back to finish. It only seems hard because you have "senioritis". It's OK to feel like that. EVERYONE feels like that at the end. Remember how eager you once were to start school. Finishing anything is really so much MORE important than starting anything, for the very reason you feel fatigued, that's THE REASON to keep going. By finishing your degree you communicate you are not a quitter to future contacts, whether that is a bank for which you want to apply for a business loan, or an employer. You will not ever regret finishing. You are much more likely to regret dropping out so close to the end, and that will bother you A LOT later on. You HONOR yourself by completing that degree, and also your family and friends who also support you. Also it's not about using your degree with what you learned, it's about learning how to manage your time, how to complete projects, make contacts, and to develop your skills, such as with graphics apps on the computer, to pull together a portfolio, etc.. It's not about graphic design per se as a career, unless you really love graphic design and you want to work at a magazine, or publishing house, and it's OK not to want to do that. DESIGN education is a worthy goal even if you decide not to work in those traditional jobs. I mean do you ever regret going to kindergarten? NO! Keep it all in perspective. Be gentle with yourself, and kind too.

So many times I feel or taught If I take a break I would be lazy but honestly today we live a faster and exahusting ritm of life.
Built a life more slowler is valid, change some activities or questionin what do yoi do or how doing something is valid and is part of circle of life.
But if you need a break just do it.
Socially and culturally we women have been instilled with the idea that the woman who rests is lazy or ungrateful.

Hi Uncomfy! I just wanted to let you know that I relate so much to this video. I'm currently working full-time, might start school part-time, plus my side passion projects. There are so many things that need to get done in a day and the reality is that we're just tired... LOL I admire you for pushing through!
