I think its because ceramics have become more populair, and things like knitting/crochet. There's always these trends for what crafts are populair and which arent. Resin is also populair now. Personally I'm not too sad about the polymer clay hype being gone, since it isnt the best for the environment (if improperly thrown away), and the people who genuine love it have sticked with it! :)

People are more on social media complaining about how hard life is instead of doing something creative and fun to relax. And also make the same boring memes and jokes for 20 years.

I actually saw your tiktok account and followed. I used to be so dedicated to making polymer clay charms when I was younger. I was rather good for a 12-14 year old. I remember trying to go to events to show people my products, and so many people were just like what are you even going to do with these…. I was just so young and had no idea what to say. Not thinking of how I could make earrings, just charms in general, keychains, and even now want to make some paintbrush holders. After seeing you makes me really want to get back into polymer clay more seriously because it’s just so relaxing to sit and sculpt while just watching something, etc. I’ve gotten into metal making (silversmithing) as of the last year, but definitely going to start making more time again for clay. It’s so nostalgic too for me. I remember sitting and sculpting little clay miniatures for hours and hours out of the day. I’m just so glad I found you and you’ve inspired me to start up again. 🥰❤️

Just found your channel. Your work is very sweet and very beautifully crafted. Just a concern, regarding you baking these in your home oven. To my understanding, Fimo is highly toxic(fumes) when baking which is why many Fimo artists set up a toaster oven outside for proper ventilation when baking. Also, there is a new artist resin available that is not toxic called “Artist Resin” that doesn’t have the toxic fumes other resins have. Stay safe and healthy in your artistic journey and much success!!

I've never found your videos before, but I needed to make a comment on you trying to learn more about your parents. I think that is such a beautiful thing. We really take for granted what we have until we lose it. I lost my dad May 8th of 2022 very suddenly, we had so many plans and I was his nurse so I was very close to him. I thought I knew everything about him; and now that he's gone I struggle to think of things I really, personally knew about him. It hurts to think about how much he had left to teach me, about everything. Please cherish the moments you have and learn everything you can. Become your parent's best friend- you will not regret that connection.

I feel like you were an answer to prayer today. I was praying to be led by the Spirit, in the best use of my time right now, with only a few warm days ahead, as cool weather approaches. I prayed I would be content to do anything, just so long as I knew the choice came by answer to prayer. Then your video pops up in my video feed, showing how you spent the last few days of your summer. And you speak of artist block- if not burned out- maybe switch to a new medium for a while. Blessings. Peace. Love wins.
