So timely. I'm once again in retirement attempting to paint and was looking for ways to get images off my phone, and SD cards, onto a big monitor, but this is a much better way to display the image and directly on to my medium. Thanks Mucho.
you are welcome! If you are in the market currently.. i just got to take a look at THIS amzn.to/3sfzq9P And hoping i can get it home to look long term, but it beats the Burger I currently have significantly in brightness. (really only matters on bigger images however) ++aff link above++
Thank you Thank you. I have ordered one that you recommended. Now to learn how to use it when it arrives. I have read reviews on so many and watched numerous videos to find what I’m looking for. You convinced me to push the Buy Button.
its not extraordinarily difficult to figure them out. im an older guy and managed to get through it :) By far the projector was one of the best time saving purchases I made for my studio.
I just ordered a new projector yesterday.. thinking mine had stopped working. turns out it was a failure on the power block (they charge through usb) Ive gotten a lot of use out of it for certain. i find them an invaluable tool in my business, since i do a lot of pet portraiture. it saves me a ton of time not having to grid everything out.
Thank you so much for this video. I knew I wanted to add a projector to my arsenal of tools for a while now but I have been absolutely paralyzed with indecision. Nobody in stores seems to know anything anymore, everything seems to be geared for home theatre set ups. I'm too inept to even know what it is I'm looking for. I just knew I wanted something I could cast from my phone and would make different sizes. I found your video and literally ordered the vankyo Burger in less than two minutes. The search is over! Thank you so much!
You are very welcome! Im suprised you found the burger. They have been hard to find for a while now. Fortunately a lot of manufacturers have started making Pico DLP projectors at a reasonably low cost. Once i went pico DLP i havent even looked back at larger projectors. And unless I start doing murals I cant see what else id want. this completely altered my workflow. :)
I am about to watch the video. I am also quite confused as to what to get. Digital art projector with high lumens, résolutions, keystones, good throw. Ok I will watch now! Lol
Any projector does matter, had a projector that was giving me a problem got passed and just smashed the Damm thing, turned into this channel brought the recommended projector and it's off to the races..thanks for this video.
Thank you for showing this. I really appreciate it. I was so lucky to find it on ebay UK for £60, live in Spain though, my sister who lives in the uk is going to get it for me this weekend. So excited 🥳🥳thanks again☺️
So I'm very interested in the 2nd projector you reviewed. Because it produces the image in light. At my job it's very difficult to use low light. Your link so many different brands. I don't see the one you had. Can you tell me which one I can recommend to my boss for our situation. We won't be blowing them up super big. Light is the biggest issue.
Thanks so much. I have been looking at projectors for a while now and I couldn't decide which would work best for projecting art. You have made that decision easy. Really appreciate your insights.
You are very welcome.. im usually an airbrush and art channel.. but thought this was a worthy topic.. Obviously so with thousands of views in 2 months. I struggled heavily with my old projector!
this projector completely changed my day to day workflow. Being I paint pets for a living.. getting them traced out rapidly is important! Sure i can draw them, but not nearly as quick.. I now have it full time on the digital copy stand. and I just quickly scale since its set to be perfectly square there is very little fiddling (except the VERY touchy focus wheel)
Thanks! I get a lot of comments about this (fairly old video) complaining I never say which model (although i mention the model i used here) Or say pico DLP projectors are not as good as big projectors.. And for a home theater that would be true. But no question if your not needing wall sized images. Pico DLP is going to be the way to go. And projecting top down is way better.
I was having a hard time finding a projector that would cast small enough and able to focus. Everything usually only tells how big and far away it will work. Thank you. I used your updated link. Cheers
Thank you so much for posting this video. It was super helpful. Followed your link and purchased one. Hopefully I can figure out how to use it with my phone because I don't want to have to use a cord or a usb either.
i had the same problem before I found the DLP pico projectors. I had a couple of projectors before this, even a pretty expensive one but it was much more difficult to deal with.
I cant thank you enough for this review. I really get attached to my technology and like to get a good deal. In addition have something that is easy to use yet teaches me something new. I cant thank you enough.
@@TheAIRspace You shared so many useful information about those projectors. I am also a artist like you. Who is trying to discover more things that can help speed up some old school process.
ive said it a hundred times.. once i went with pico DLP projecting it changed my entire workflow. For instance my main gig is pet portraits, i can get set up and traced out in under 10 minutes now. Hence I can deliver for customers at a good price and still feel I got paid reasonably. Huge time saver.
Thank you so much for this video! I found a vankyo burger online refurbished, everything works great. I made a little set up, with a small cheap tripod I had and a small mono pod stick I found on line. This is just what I needed! It works great, it was easy to set up the vankyo burger and the overhead setup. I subscribed to you channel, so much helpful information. I'm glad I found you thank you
I cannot tell you how much I struggled with my old projector trying to use it! I was looking at short throw projectors(crazy expensive and still too large of an image) I had an led pico and it got dropped and broken, but even then because of not being able to focus easily at small areas it was horrible to work with. Then I found out about the DLP Picos. And recently they came down to an affordable level. I was able to try a couple. The burger I bought because vankyo is building a name as a great brand.. And i looked at a LOT of nice home theater projectors but non of them would easily scale to canvas size paintings. Glad to have you!
Awesome Info!!!...I have just discovered that these projectors are out there.....you did an awesome job showing them. I am going to go see your other videos...Thank you!!...I am looking forward to your video on how you use the last projector you show in this video.
well unfortunately after this video.. vankyo sold completely out of the burger. I have been trying very hard to get a couple others to do a side by side comparison..
Im hoping the burger doesn't sell out like sooo much other tech since corona. Im hoping to have this one in for review soon amzn.to/3s34Az6 (aff link) Which is the cube factor i prefer. Definitely DLP pico is the way to go if your doing anything other than just murals. :)
Great to see the things that don't necessarily occur when scrolling through products - nothing like seeing minimum focus / projector distance / image size. It's too easy to think that splashing out on a 4K model will make a huge difference. Not necessarily the case.
I made this some time back, because I could never really get on with projectors until I went Pico. After it really changed my workflow signifcantly. Thanks!
While the vankyo burger is discontinued pico DLP projectors are plentiful. On my pinned comment there is a link to a lits of them. and in the description even a recomended one more updated! Thanks!
Thank you so much for demystifying how to use a projector for artwork. I purchased the Burger per your suggestion and I’m so excited to get to work. (Btw you are correct. It’s doesn’t takes very good)
haha no it is not.. but it has been a serious workhorse in my studio' Nothing altered my workflow more than getting a dlp pico projector. Dont get me wrong I sketch a lot of things myself. but doing I cant even count how many pet portraits this christmas season, i couldnt have lived without it :)

I just want to thank you for doing this video. I've been thinking about getting a projector for making outlines for a long time and very hard to find videos that show the downsizing capabilities like you did in your video. Always worried if the ones I looked at can go small enough and hard to find artist viewpoint reviews on them. Thank you so much!
What a helpful video! Wish I would have watched this before getting the projector I have now lol it's more for home theater and I need something for putting on smaller canvas :)
Hey... sorry to be a late-comer, but I want to use this for the same purpose that you are, tracing pictures from overhead for enlargement. Is the size of the projected image dependent on the distance from the drawing surface? Or can it be placed any distance and adjusted through focus? I think I can manage only 48 inches from the surface. I hope you'll answer. Thanks
Size is dependant on distance. At 48 inches from the surface a pico projector would fill about a 24x32 inch canvas. (some more some less) you can calculate how big the image will be based on throw which may or may not be listed in the specs.. Some projectors have a zoom feature, however digital zoom degrades image quality a LOT and optical zoom is gonna be a very expensive larger projector feature.
@@TheAIRspace Thanks so much for the answer. That should fit my purpose, since I don't think I will exceed a canvas size greater than 16 x 20. Big help!
About a month or two after I made this. Vankyo sold completely out of this particular projector. and has with supply chain issues been unable to bring them back for sale as far as I can tell. You can possibly find them at some retailers old stock, but making a video for a product that has not been readily available seemed a waste of time. Sorry Im sure you can understand. There are other DLP pico projectors in stock and more on the market now.. I do have some links to them but none I actually own.
@@karenbytherideau Your welcome! I will say using a projector I can readily move and place easily has completely upgraded my workflow. It was huge when Christmas rush comissions rolled around :)
i am not familiar with that one, but you are correct, which is why I said pico DLP is the way to go. Most other ones will not go down to small sizes like that as you im sure are aware :)
I used to operate one of those line projection cameras back in the 80 ‘s for the local newspaper doing hard copies of important dates for birthday anniversary party events
can you believe i picked it up for 25 bucks :) ive had it sitting off a while.. and brought it down recently after getting a pico projector. its soon gonna be set up off the ground with the projector mounted and centered for quick projection layouts. It should help with workflow :)
@@TheAIRspace Im really looking for one of those old cast iron opaque projectors that can handle books on the platen the wife is a teacher and there is probably ones in the back storage room just got to get her to go looking one summer day
the burger is long discontinued (sold out about 2 months after I made this video) but in the comments pinned is a similiar and slightly brighter one. The main point , to focus small it will need to be pico DLP. From there ANSI Lumens are the only true comparable way to compare brightness. Non DLP picos will be much dimmer and lower image quality. LED Lumens and just lumens really are meaningless Thank you!
Okay, I found a burger on ebay -WOW! Now to mirror my wifi to projector I have to “purchase” mirroring? All of this is new to me. I have an iphone. Just purchased a flash drive … I don’t know how to use those either. Please respond about the mirroring app. Thank you .
mirroring is a standard feature on your iphone. Swipe up from the bottom and it brings up the settings and accessiory screen. it is the one that has two squares in it. When your burger arrives you make sure it is set up on the same wifi network as your iphone. Then menu setting to mirror screen, swipe iphone up. Hit screen mirroring and they will connect to each other.
I was able to connect to my wifi once. Yes, both wifi and Vankyo were on the same wifi. Very difficult, I don’t know if I have an old version, but I’d rather NOT need to connect to my wifi. Tried using a flash drive but couldn’t figure out how to bring up the picture(s) loaded to it. Urrr Hard for this old gal … I’ve spent hours.
ironically it wasnt supposed to be a review of the Hamburger.. but a whole lot of people asked about it. I am trying to get my hands on a couple others to bring in and do a comparison.. wont change my purchase choice obviously.. i already bought the burger! And it has completely changed my workflow!
Good informative video though I may never be able to afford one. However I make do with an old Artograph TH 500 that was given to me back in the 1980s by an old school sign painter. I used to have access to an even older Artograph DB 300-it could project on to a table top or on the wall.
Hi Bill - I bought the Vankyo burger 101 but can you tell me what phone mount you have - to mount it to a table so I can project a photo down into my desk like you do? I could not find your additional video specific for this little project. Thank you. Annette
Thanks so much for your very thorough analysis of the Vankyo Burger projector! Any idea where to purchase one? They do not seem to be for sale anywhere except Singapore or Malaysia... I am from Canada and so have tried BestBuy etc. Many thanks!
vankyo sold out of the burder a while back and have not brought it back in. However ANY pico DLP with wifi will do much the same. I dont have canada links unfortunately. I have been meaning to see if I can sign up for Canadian and UK amazon links but it will be a couple of weeks at minimum. I also have the amoowa pico DLP projector with wifi and has much the same features, with a slightly brighter lamp. I do like the burger interface a little better. But I think that is just because ive used it for a long time.
I hope you can help me, I purchased this product on your recommendation or how much you liked it , my question is is there an adjustment to size it to my 10 x 14 watercolor paper? And help would be appreciated.
Thanks Bill, for this very helpful video and info. I myself was and am looking for a budget projector. I didn't know Vankyo was making this one or the other mini cube style one. I'm just not into the built in battery, which will in time fail and is probably not user replaceable for $199.00 USD . But still great info, thanks again.
Sold me, if the masters used a camera obscura, why not modern? Saves a lot of time, gives a better product, and any artist is still putting their personal touches to it. Its a win win....
I dont even get a little bothered over whether I should use a projector or not these days. when I was starting out, i was determined to freehand everything, and learn to paint by looking alone. which is beneficial, and drawing skills are definitely helpful. But as a famous artist said. If someones paying you for a portrait, it had better look like the person. and time is something you cannot get back.
We discover your video and we really like the way you present the products .( easydoing ); We are looking for a similar product of the Vankyo burger with the same characteristics especially allow to put the projector close to the drawing for small models . We understand that you did a larger analysis since you have posted the above video ... The Burger Vankyo is completely sold out ... What would you advise me ? Regards from France
i have some links in the description. However that wont help in France. ALL DLP PICO projectors will allow you to get close. From there look for ANSI Lumens 100 being what the burger is rated at. HIGHER is better Resolution of the burger native is 852x480 which really for art is suitable. there are not many pico DLP projectors of higher resolution. Thanks!
sorry just seeing this. THe projector in this video is the vankyo burger. Which since discontinued. I have had the opportunity to look at some of the other pico DLP projectors. However I dont really do electronic reviews. The main point is the Pico DLP lamp is what you need to focus in small images. ANSI brightness is the only standard level, all others are essentially non standardized this one is 100 ANSI lumens. From there pick the functions you want and need like wifi screen mirroring etc.. to me those are invaluable Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video! I just signed on to work with this independent art company and they require that I work on mostly larger canvases. I was worried that I would have to use tracing paper but this would really help with my time management!
First off congrats! That is amazing! As for time management, I may have mentioned I do 10or more pet portraits every month. And this is a lifesaver on time!
@@TheAIRspace That's a lot of portraits to get done! I have a feeling I may have to do just as many portraits and there's no way I can draw by hand. Just ordered the projector that you recommended today from Walmart. Can't wait to start using it!

@@meganfallis557 They're called Paint Your Life. I started with them at the end of August and I believed I stopped working with them in November/December. It's easy enough to get on board with them, however they only pay you once a month after all commissions have been calculated. This is great side money but not enough to make it full time. What made it extremely difficult were the customers. The representatives mostly deal with them and all communication is over email. They send you customer feedback and it can definitely affect you mentally. If a commission is approved, it's on you to roll up the painting in a shipping tube and drop it off at the post office. Overall it wasn't worth it.
it would be ok for some light duty mural work.. if you are going to work large murals a lot though a brighter larger projector might be in order. I have used it for 5 foot tall stuff a few times.
as long as you were able to get what you needed!~ I am not a big fan of ebay.. but sometimes its incredible deals. For what its worth.. Vankyo doesnt even have them in stock. vankyo made the burger. But when they sold out they did not bring it back. In the description and the pinned comments are links to other projectors that do the same
im using the vankyo burger.. which can be found occasionally. but has stopped being made. I do have some links to other pico DLPs and yes i can use it with an iphone which is actually how I use it the most. Same as with the ipad its simply screen mirroring.

Did you or anyone in the comments use an Android phone to mirror cast? Also, any idea what the largest this will project? I have a mural to do in Sept and looking for a good one.. you got me sold on using it for canvas so far..
Yes android will cast to this.. It took me a little bit to find the setting on my particular phone. I use an iPad, but my phone is android. I would be a little hesitant to do outdoor murals, depends on your needs in detail. Getting over 120 inches is gonna be washed out. It can fill a wall indoors ok, but all but super powerful larger projectors will struggle at outdoor day use.
Hey Brother, great vid, as this is a few years old now, which mini projector would you now recommend as the best for projecting on canvas as per your vid from above for ease of sketching up an image to paint ?
@@seangrame9733 if you go to my main page the last video I did a couple weeks ago is one of the mini projectors im recomending. Also if you go to the pinned comment at the top of this thread I list it as my top choice Thanks!
So bummed I waited too long for the vankyo. Can you recommend one around $100? $200 is just a little too expensive right now, but I’m totally lost trying to find one myself!
you start to give up a lot below that price point, but there is a kodak for 169. the biggest takeaway if you need to focus to small images is it needs to be DLP Pico , from there it will depend if you need wifi etc.
I bought the Artograph flare 450 digital projector despite the high price because I am a demanding artist and I was looking for the top. I immediately saw a malfunctioning concerning the so called keystone feature, that allows to regulate the inclination of the projected image, and is very important for my particular purposes. It only worked in one direction. By using the remote controller it was still possible to do it but I have a special lighting set up on the ceiling which is controlled by remote and happens to interfere with other devices. Long story short I promptly described the problem to the so called customer service, providing every information as requested. After several weeks and persisting attempts to have an adequate answer they simply told me that I could just use the remote controller, that's all. After one and a half month without using the projector here I am at the starting point, hoping that nothing else comes up in the future with this flawed software. Hope nothing goes wrong because nobody is going to give your money back.
Unfortunately, people are still buying these. Artograph sold the company a long time ago. As a fact here is the excerpt. "Artograph is Now Studio Designs We regret to inform you that Artograph, Inc. is no longer in business. If you have contacted us regarding parts for the above items, we will note the parts needed and let you know as soon as possible if we are able to fulfill your request. Thank you, Studio Designs Customer Service" So what that means is noone is actually responsible for the flare projectors. the only recourse you have is from the seller. Im not sure who you talked to in customer service, because there is no artograph. And Studio designs should have told you from the start they do not carry or claim responsibility for those projectors.
I have been running the vankyo burger for well since before I made this video. However you cant get them anymore. I do have links to other Pico DLP projecters.
@@guyguarascio there is no remote for the 150, again if thats an important feature just keep in mind dlp pico and brightness are the most important things. As for flipping back and forth i dont. I use my hand or a sheet of paper to block the light to see if I am transfering lines (since i draw very very lightly) The entire process for me to get what I want in an image is only a few minutes. Depending on how much detail you want of course is completely subjective.
I just read they don’t make it anymore. Can you tell me a something compatible that projects a small viewable screen like that old model please. Thank you.
I am not an artist, but am thinking about purchasing a projector to mount to an 8 ft ceiling that will project gridlines, such as crosshatch, etc. I am wanting to use it to help me line up transfers and designs above my heat press for shirts. Any recommendations on a projector that would be reasonably priced?
i replied with one link to your other question. However I still use the burger and it has been a great addition to my studio. the J2 i linked performs very well, but I cant hazard a guess on longevity. Ive had my burger however for 3 years I think. Of course i don't broadcast movies with it. The big downside of pico DLP is color accuracy, but for projecting pictures to trace thats a non issue.
Thanks Thomas! I made my own if you mean the spring mounted arm.. but they do sell some on amazon. The big thing.. is a rather expensive piece that i got used locally . This is the one I think i'm going to change to for my desk. amzn.to/2R2G17U "affilliate link above" But there are many types and choices that will support the burger. it uses the standard 1/4 inch screw mount. compatible with most cameras, and phone brackets etc.

@@ZeeZoneZunshine yeah amazon will redirect to "similiar products" if your country doesnt have the same product. Again.. just look for pico DLP preferable 480p native resolution few will have more (and be expensive) and look for ansi lumens of at least 100. Best to you!
Regarding your video on the Burger 101. How do I correct the horizontal balance and keystone correction when it’s set to auto. I want to project down vertically, but I’m not sure what to do. Can this be done with the remote? I also am curious about the phone mount you have in your studio. Thanks for all the information so far
Turn off keystone correction when projecting down. Line it up level is far better always when projecting for art. Keystone correction will slightly distort images regardless. Any projector does matter, had a projector that was giving me a problem got passed and just smashed the Damm thing, turned into this channel brought the recommended projector and it's off to the races..thanks for this video.
Running over my 'not so old' pis over with my truck tomorrow....maybe tonight!
This is helpful. I am doing some small 5 x7 inch paintings on panels and don't want to have to draw them again after already doing so. Thank you.
Thank you for showing this. I really appreciate it. I was so lucky to find it on ebay UK for £60, live in Spain though, my sister who lives in the uk is going to get it for me this weekend. So excited 🥳🥳thanks again☺️
I was having trouble finding the right projector for artwork till I watched this. Thank you so much for making this video!! This is very helpful!
Glad I could help!
I struggled heavily with my old projector!
wow! such a good video. Thanks so much for taking the time to explaining things the way you did
I bought the burger because of your review. Just got it so can’t wait to try it out🙌🏻
this projector completely changed my day to day workflow.
This video is helpful but since this was created do you have an updated recommendation?
yes in my pinned comment, i also just updated the link in the description.
I most appreciated the demo about how close/small the image can be projected.
My interesting is tracing Nikon JPG images to canvas or drawing paper.
By far that is what makes the DLP Pico projectors ideal for artists working on normal size images.
Are you not bother by the battery system?
Getting to the meat of what is needed is here! Thank you since this is just what I needed!
Cheers
You are a huge help, I have been looking for a small but good projector to use with my phone.
Thank you so much, i been looking for a projector and this is a great reference. 🎉
Your welcome!
Thank you so much for posting this video. It was super helpful. Followed your link and purchased one. Hopefully I can figure out how to use it with my phone because I don't want to have to use a cord or a usb either.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this video! It was surprisingly hard to find info on projectors that can focus a small image!
i had the same problem before I found the DLP pico projectors. I had a couple of projectors before this, even a pretty expensive one but it was much more difficult to deal with.
I cant thank you enough for this review. I really get attached to my technology and like to get a good deal. In addition have something that is easy to use yet teaches me something new. I cant thank you enough.
Nice info Sir, thank you very much
So nice of you
@@TheAIRspace You shared so many useful information about those projectors. I am also a artist like you. Who is trying to discover more things that can help speed up some old school process.
Holy crap! I’m liking that pico, I think I found my projector 😂❤️
ive said it a hundred times.. once i went with pico DLP projecting it changed my entire workflow. For instance my main gig is pet portraits, i can get set up and traced out in under 10 minutes now. Hence I can deliver for customers at a good price and still feel I got paid reasonably. Huge time saver.
Thank you for showing this in detail! Amazing. I need this for a very small detailed project 😁
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm glad I found you thank you
it completely changed up my work flow for portraits for certain.
New subscriber. Great timing on this as I'm looking to upgrade my super prism . Thanks for all the videos. Much appreciated
I cannot tell you how much I struggled with my old projector trying to use it! I was looking at short throw projectors(crazy expensive and still too large of an image)
I had an led pico and it got dropped and broken, but even then because of not being able to focus easily at small areas it was horrible to work with.
Thank you Gary, this helps a lot.
Thanks Bill!!
I have a school projector you can turn the lens around make big are small.
Thank you sir! I hate looking up tech stuff. This is perfect 👍

Which is the cube factor i prefer.
Thanks!
What is the model of your Beseler Projector?
Ugh - bummer I don't see the DLP Pico Projector anymore. :( Thanks for the great review!

haha no it is not.. but it has been a serious workhorse in my studio' Nothing altered my workflow more than getting a dlp pico projector.

When I found out about these I was soo stoked. I struggled with my previous projector.
You are very welcome!
What a helpful video! Wish I would have watched this before getting the projector I have now lol it's more for home theater and I need something for putting on smaller canvas :)
and so did I. And hence the reason I made this video :) This would be the third projector I have owned.
Thanks for the review.
My pleasure!
Hey... sorry to be a late-comer, but I want to use this for the same purpose that you are, tracing pictures from overhead for enlargement.
Big help!
Thanks. You just answered several questions for me.
it was not long ago I had the same questions im certain! your welcome!
I couldn't find your full length review of the DLP......
@@TheAIRspace thank you! I really enjoyed your review. I’m trying to decide if I can afford this investment. Thanks again!
@@karenbytherideau Your welcome! I will say using a projector I can readily move and place easily has completely upgraded my workflow. It was huge when Christmas rush comissions rolled around :)
I Have the RIf 5 and being a DLP projector it can go down to 2" display up to 120" but any Pico projector with DLP can do this usually.
i am not familiar with that one, but you are correct, which is why I said pico DLP is the way to go.
@@TheAIRspace Im really looking for one of those old cast iron opaque projectors that can handle books on the platen the wife is a teacher and there is probably ones in the back storage room just got to get her to go looking one summer day
@@robmartin5414 occasionally they pop up here and there. But they are a pretty penny new. A lot of folks swear by them.
In your link description i cant find the exact one
But thank you for the video
the burger is long discontinued (sold out about 2 months after I made this video) but in the comments pinned is a similiar and slightly brighter one. The main point , to focus small it will need to be pico DLP. From there ANSI Lumens are the only true comparable way to compare brightness. Non DLP picos will be much dimmer and lower image quality. LED Lumens and just lumens really are meaningless
Thank you!

Perfect, thank you!

Good informative video though I may never be able to afford one. However I make do with an old Artograph TH 500 that was given to me back in the 1980s by an old school sign painter. I used to have access to an even older Artograph DB 300-it could project on to a table top or on the wall.
Thanks for sharing!

I am pretty positive the battery is much like an ipads. I am not aware of any picos that dont have batteries built in. Thanks Mike!

@@deliatoledomd Thanks Delia, wish I had seen your post sooner. My bad for slacking off on my you tube visits.
@@TheAIRspace Well said...
HIGHER is better
Resolution of the burger native is 852x480 which really for art is suitable. there are not many pico DLP projectors of higher resolution.
Thanks!
Hi, thank you for the video, when will you have the review the Kodak DLP projector in this video?
sorry just seeing this.

Can you give me more information? What do you do for the independent art company? How did you find them?
@@meganfallis557 They're called Paint Your Life. I started with them at the end of August and I believed I stopped working with them in November/December. It's easy enough to get on board with them, however they only pay you once a month after all commissions have been calculated. This is great side money but not enough to make it full time. What made it extremely difficult were the customers. The representatives mostly deal with them and all communication is over email. They send you customer feedback and it can definitely affect you mentally. If a commission is approved, it's on you to roll up the painting in a shipping tube and drop it off at the post office. Overall it wasn't worth it.
So the burger would be good to do a mural of some simple lettering?
it would be ok for some light duty mural work.. if you are going to work large murals a lot though a brighter larger projector might be in order. I have used it for 5 foot tall stuff a few times.

There is a link in my first comment for a Phillips that is the same price as the vankyo, and actually slightly higher resolution 😎
you start to give up a lot below that price point, but there is a kodak for 169.
the biggest takeaway if you need to focus to small images is it needs to be DLP Pico , from there it will depend if you need wifi etc.
It’s on sale online from Walmart for $99 !

Can this be done with the remote? I also am curious about the phone mount you have in your studio. Thanks for all the information so far
Turn off keystone correction when projecting down. Line it up level is far better always when projecting for art. Keystone correction will slightly distort images regardless.
I believe in the description I have a link to a mount. The one I had was home built but I’ve since bought one and it works very well 🙂
