I got my Level 2 Aventon couple of days ago. I love it, at 70 I need a little more help. I still feel like I’m doing most of the power with a little assistance. My friends calls it a cheater bike, I call it envy.

I had a 500 peak output ebike. And the amount of hills I have to ride up. By the last few the 500 just ain’t pushing it anymore. So that’s why I’m looking at this 750. Not to go faster but to have that last final bit of power for the last push home.
I like to see a head to head of Euphree Robin vs. Aventon level 2.
Always demonstrate these bikes on LEVEL riding. Here in Western PA we have HILLS…how does this bike do realistically on STEEP hills?
Do you think 27.5x3 tires will fit?
I don't care for a torque sensor. I like being able to go faster than 20 mph by merely turning the crank in a low gear.
Prefer the left side throttle. Gears on right. Throttle on left. But, I'm sure either just takes some getting used to.

I looked at your review on the PACE 500 at $1700 and now the Level2 at $2000 An extra $300 gets you way more bike, not sure why anyone would consider the PACE. The only drawback with AVENTON is the bloody thumb throttle. I would like for anyone that views one of your videos to make a comment, even if they normally dont, just type your throttle preference, twist grip OR thumb. Lets send a message to the Companys using either. Oh, and how in the heck can you get these bikes to go backwards and then forward so fast. Thats sum Matrix chit right there man.

You’re right on… $300 gets you a lot more with this one. And I love your idea of figuring out throttle preference. I feel like it might be a good idea to do an entire video dedicated to the pros and cons of each throttle type and what kind of riding each one lends itself best to. I know you and I like the twist throttles, but it definitely seems most ebikes use thumb throttles. You ever tried a trigger throttle? Those are pretty sweet too actually.
What’s so bad about thumb throttle?
@@ZaiDrizzleDrop well, HackHunter may have something to add here, but for me, there's nothing inherently wrong or right with a thumb throttle vs twist throttle. i think it's more of a preference thing. i grew up riding motorcycles so i'm pretty used to a twist throttle, but sometimes a thumb throttle makes more sense, especially for e-bikes that have trigger shifters.
If I'm getting a torque sensor,I want a mid drive bike, not hub drive- the advantage of torque sensor is to use with gears -
