When taking off the axle protector, part of the plastic broke off and there still is the rounded part of the plastic between the rear frame and the gear switching mechanism. Do I need to remove that part of the plastic with needle nose pliers, or does that stay on?

Bike mechanic here who builds these regularly. You should remove it with the pliers but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if you didn’t
@@rocksez5101 I always remove it. I didn't know it would prevent 8 because ive never tried it. Good to know
Just received my Pace 500.3 and I believe there is a missing part. Where the front fork connects to the frame there is supposed to be a bolt connecting the two and it is missing.
I had the same problem. Took me 15 minutes to get it out. Plastic kept breaking off when I grabbed it with pliers, so I just chipped away at it until I got it out.
It's not necessary to first turn on the battery
I'm not sure why but the h headset bolt won't catch?

Handlebar stuck to fork stem. Screw won't tighten. Unable to loosen side adjust for handlebar alignment. Won't be able to return since handlebar stuck. Nit a happy customer.
