In this video, I install the brand new @Z1Motorsports23 short throw shifter kit for the 350Z. This install is pretty straightforward forward but if I missed something in this install let me know and ill help you out!

Does your shifters change for different years? Or are they all the same?

@@RileyWuzzHere Great question and I hope this answers its. I just looked at their website and the shifters look the same (but could be different) but Id just buy the right one for your car they're the same price.

Great video! Was there an increase in shifting effort?
There isnt much at all! I would say its definitely more notchy then before but still really smooth
I have Torque solutions short throw, been driving with it for years, although there is an annoying rattle that comes with it, usually around 3.5k+ rpms . Any rattle or noise with Z1? Read numerous forums, everyone says its "normal" for z's lol
How is this holding up 9 months later?
how is it handing a month later man? I'm manual swapping my z soon and i've been eyeing this short shifter.
So far it great!! Driven it nonstop for about a month and its been really solid!

Is it shorter than the torque solution short shifter ?
I wouldnt know. I did go to their website to read about it and it looks like Torque Solutions advertises it as a shorter throw. Z1 is 33% shorter and TS is 37% shorter.
Does the reverse lockout still work?
