Well done getting to 100 subs.. 🤟 just got to about 160 myself after couple of years. Been slow start. Nice few finds there mate 👌 i think the disk looks like an old tap centre cover. Hides the screw down the centre.
The round disc is called a knockout seal for an electrical panel. It plugs holes in electrical panels to keep things safe and prevent water from getting into the live wiring. The teeth on the underside are meant to be spread out inside of the panel to hold it in place.
I am still trying to learn my 900, so I really like you showing your VDI numbers. I am really thinking about notching out the VDI numbers 1 through 10 even maybe to 14.
I've had my 900 for about 9 months and I still haven't experimented much with the settings. I just go with the default setting in park one most of the time. I may adjust the sensitivity some. I know some folks don't like hearing all of the extra sounds. If you don't usually dig the low signals then notching them out is probably a good idea. I personally don't mind hearing the lower tones. Sometimes I'll dig a low number if I'm not finding a lot of good signals. It could be a gold earring or something. You never know. Thanks for watching!
That was weird 97 98 on the scale for a Quarter.. I normally dig them at an 88 89 90 91 never that high.. But I guess we never know until we dig it out.. Thanks for sharing this fun hunt.. Happy Hunting .. Peace
You are right. That is high for Quarters. I thought that they may have been ringing up high because I was pretty close to a chain link fence around the court. I'll have to get some of those quarters out and check them at home and see what I get. Thanks for watching!
@@JustDigIt1819 I know 3 quarters stacked will ring up higher then one and if there is a piece of metal that rings lower yes it would throw off the tone and vdi but would lower the Vdi.. just in my experience
Good point. I do need to start wearing gloves more often. I haven't been because I can't operate the phone screen with the gloves. I could wear one for digging though.
Nice love finding coins of any type. New subscriber here from Colorado. Keep em coming!
Me too! Thanks for the sub and thanks for watching!

Thank you! I'll take a closer look at that lead piece. Thanks for watching!
That disc you found looks like a center cap for a vehicle wheel.
You are probably right. I didn't think of that. Thanks for watching!
