Megaman X Anime Movie Part 3

- This is the result of a month long project I was working on. I have combined almost all megaman x footage, placed it in chronological order, supplied a soundtrack from various movies and animes, and did my best to dub Mark Gatha's voice over all of X's scenes. This movie will cover everything from the Day of Sigma to the Elf Wars.

And you know what's ironic? X's voice actor is Mark Gatha who does the English voice of, yep, the King of Hearts, Domon Kasshu!! -_^
the scene with zero, x, and sigma scared me that i actualy started to cry when zero was stabbed.
oh and i yelped when x's arm cannon fell off and when x shut down or died (i cant really tell) i cryed in fear and i now haft to say this:

I love Gilbertson's voice, and Gatha's gives X that little bit of innocense he needs :D
Megaman X Domon Kasshu (from G Gundam) at a lot of things in common
1.) same voice actor (Mark Gatha)
2.) heroes
3.) both used the Shining Finger

Personally, when it comes to Megaman X, I'd rather watch this OVA 24 hours straight than watch that badly written Mega X episode from the American MM cartoon. Because at least this OVA has a more believable story and more character interaction. Not to mention better animation. I know the American cartoon came long before this, but still, this is much better by far. And it even surpasses the choppy animation cut scenes from MMX 4. If you ask me, this should have been a full series.
What about rockman.exe?
That's because this is X1. When they rebuild him in X2, he gets new shoulder armor, chest armor, and leg parts. However, some alterations to his helmet are new.
Why the hell is there a battle network TV show, but no X or Zero series show. WHY?
There should be one, I really wish there was one!

Just in my opinion, this OVA is far superior to the American cartoon and to the earlier Megaman OVAs. The story in this is so in depth and it had a lot of potential. But I'm glad that they at least made an effort to pull this off even though this is as far as they'll ever go with making this franchise into an anime. Besides, I enjoyed this while it lasted.
So that's how Sigma got his scars on his eyes.
Do you think Mark Gatha (X's voice actor) was tempted to shout shining finger when he was in the studio since he also voiced Domon Kasshu
Zero ripped off Sigma's left arm, yet he is holding his right arm in this clip. And he just ripped through his arm, don't think that this is 'referencing the move' he used to break it.
I knew something was missing in Sigmas face from the start of this movie, its the purple scars

If I was X I would have given Sigma a world class hot foot (by shooting him in the foot) when he was using Zero as a shield.
For a moment I expected X to screm "SHINING FINGER"
Dr. Cain killed Abel City.
Oh come on it wasn't Dr. Cain's fault he created Sigma to protect the humans and reploids.
But thanks to Zero's Virus, it entered Sigma's body when he was badly damaged.
Since then The Day of Sigma is born.

@sroHex You fight him 3 times, as in the stage of the battle. He has three health bars in each game (except for X8). In the 1st one you fight him 3 times-not bodies but fights. He usually has a weapon the 1st time, then he fights with his fists or sickle or something, and finally he goes into another body.
I'm not sure but I THINK there was one were you fight while he jumps to 2 different bodies or something. I can be getting it mixed up with another game. Been awhile since I played.
You was able to see the imagery of the X series, good job; but you missed two of the main points:
Sigma means 6. 6 is the number of man. The name of the OVA is "Day of Sigma" or "The of Man". Sigma want's to create a new world or become GOD. There are 3 forms of Sigma to fight, get it? 666 the mark of the beast. You can see Sigma as the Repliod anti-Christ.
When Christians was prosecuted under Goth and Turk rule they was referred to as X-tians or X's. Christmas was called X-day or X-mas.
@MotherPunker970 This is from the OVA: Day of Sigma from the remake of Mega Man X1. Since it's a remake, they altered some stuff and so it's different from the orginal storyline. Then again, most animes, ect. usually have alterations from the manga or game.
...then again, it didn't EXACTLY show Dr.Cain die.....so...
@MotherPunker970 well, true. but I'm just saying, he was pretty much lready half robot and you didn't exactly see his dead body anywhere after so......
but, yeah, as far as the OVA goes, I'd say he's pretty much dead. GAME-wise however, he does live till around X4, I believe....
so....yeah....

You may have those silver missiles, but I've got these gold fingers! 8:43 Mark Gatha may not be a world renowed voice actor but I liked it. I know its not the correct excerpt from the show but meh its what I came up with.
You know to be honest...i thought this was going to be a shit movie...since its fan made.......but now....I just shut the hell up and actually like this....you've done a pretty good job making this dood.
I disagree; X's voice was on par with Megaman's voice from the American cartoon. Not to mention this voice is more appropriate for X since he's more of an adolecent than a 40 year old man who destroys everything in the name of justice.
Did you get the Day of Sigma offf of a PSP yourself? I've seen it elsewhere on youtube, but I never saw that whole interaction between Sigma and Vile in the beginning before!
he was infected by zero a while ago...and he final found the time to do what he wanted... remember zero was willy ultimate weapon he was the cause of the sigma virus

Yeah, it's the same people. Mark Gatha as X, and Lucas Gilbertson as Zero. Though, I think they were outta practice when comparing their voices from CM to X8, and then Maverick Hunter X. They got a lot better after Command Mission.

But in the old anime before this movie, when Zero is a maverick and Sigma is still good, Zero has his usual armor we see in every game.

Zero looks as he's the smartest among the hunters. He figured it out faster than X.
I like x and zero they're both fire and ice legendary element maverick hunters.

@BlueMageWithSoulEdge The original game, which the day of sigma is a remake of, he only had 2 'forms' and they were really just bodies.
X saw Zero as sort of a senpai and admired his abilities, but by the end of the game he surpasses zero. Dr. Light's capsules make many references to his potential in the games too. Sigma right here can't stop talking about. There's no doubt that it was at the least the main reason for his name.
I see what you're saying in the author annotations, but the real X series just isn't that complicated. I'm not denying the imagery, but I don't like the retcon in this game because of the weird things it changes but then doesn't deliver with. Capcom sucks with story and follow-through.
So the more powerful robots could choose to become Mavericks instead of having to be currupted. And like most animes The main character has some sort of inner power that sets him apart from the rest.

Vile's acted nicely but I think his voice should've had that sort of cyberish effect on it since he's speaking through a helmet, think Hakumen from Blazblue.
Anyone else notice the differences in Zero's armor in this movie compared to all his other appearances? Like how his shoulder parts are different and he doesn't have the yellow stripe around his neck on his chest piece(which isnt as bulky as it usually is).
Dr cain was a useless character for megaman X plot, since he don´t repair Zero, Serges, Wily´s avatar, rebuilt Zero no cain, Cain only join Zero parts thats all, IHX was be the Re-do plot putting more effort on X background story and more dramatic
Probably. If you're desperate to play that game, you can find it in a compilation called "Megaman X Collection". If you have trouble finding it in your local video game store, you might be able to find it easily online.

you know i just realized that in this, their bikes hover. But in later games (like ZX) the bike use wheels. i think they lost that little bit of advancement.
@Lifescythe yeah sounds like it :p that show has a very interesting history. It was an incomplete show until someone picked it up and partly completed it with season 2
