This is for a Megaman X4 mod I made for the steam version of Megaman X Legacy Collection. What this does is restore the censored scene, eliminates the brightness filter, and plays the Japanese music "Makenai Ai ga Kitto Aru." I edited this using the existing scenes in Adobe Premiere Pro.

If you have any suggestions on what improvements I can make to this, feel free to comment. - Ігри
I’m feeling the X4 darkness already for sone reason. “Love is scary “. Everyone dies!
Great job!
always have found it interesting just how different the english and japanese versions of X4 are typically seen. one became an absolute joke and a farm for memes and the other is considered near perfect.
It's one of the main reasons why dubbed anime / Japanese animations / Games are terribly bad. It's always best to listen to the original source. The original voice actors give a lot of feel for the character and most of that is lost when replacing them for something totally different.
@@invader2867 The original voice sucks
@@DonaIdTrump. Maybe you din't listen to the dub. Probably after you give it a good listen you may not find the original that bad.
@@invader2867 ok gringo
@@invader2867you have no idea what you are talking about, dub isn't inherently bad.
Yeah. I am so buying the Japanese release just for this intro.
I grew up with the American version, but I have always loved this song ever since I heard it years ago. I really wish they included it in the Legacy Collection.
wait, they didn’t? what a ridiculous joke they pulled. the american version’s generic music was straight up low effort trash. X4 was a ground breaking epic game in that era, and they robbed the players with that cheap random stock soundtrack. the legacy collection should’ve used the original theme songs. what an utter disappointment
@@PeteroticaIt appears in Japanese copies of Legacy Collection, but not Western copies, even if you change the voices to Japanese. Why? Licensing Japanese songs to the Western audience cost an arm and a leg.
For anyone curious, if you buy the Legacy Collections from the Japanese storefront(at least the Switch version), they all have the voiced songs for every game, but the western Legacy Collections don't, even if you are in JP mode. Except for Mega Man Zero 4, it still has the voiced ending song if you are playing in JP mode on a western version.
Out of curiosity, does the Japanese version let you play the games in English?
I think they did that maybe because they couldn't localize it?
@@Kuponobu I don`t know for sure, it`s kind of hard to find that specific footage, but I would think there is, since we have the option to put it in Japanese, it`s the same game after all.
@@Sonic-VA- It`s a nightmare to license those songs outside of Japan, too expensive, have to deal with a lot of different license holders, those songs are old so there are probably even more complications, etc.
It`s not a localization issue at all, especially when you remember that X6 did have it`s song back in the day, it`s just not worth the hassle.
Beautiful lyrics, childhood, BEST Rockman X
Nice. This and the other JP theme restoration mods will be the main ones I go to for the X legacy collection.
Question: Will you also do a mod for the Mega Man Legacy Collection that restores the awesome "Electrical Communication" theme for Mega Man 8 (the ill-fated predecessor to X4 & X5)?
I’ll do just that when I get the secon Megaman legacy collection.
this is awesome, i'll install now, thanks so much x3
this is so beautiful
Yeah it is
This and the Command Mission openings are always my favorites with JPN music.
Hell yeah
gracias
Which scene was censored in x4, if it isn't much to ask?
In the intro, General and the army were giving the Roman salute, which Nazi’s co-opted, thus associating it with Nazi’s.
It’s understandable that this got removed since Nazis gained a new, terrible platform in recent years.
The brightness in the clash between Zero and colonel in the intro reduced the flashing lights to reduce epileptic seizures. The flashing lights in the scene where Double kills hunters were also removed for that same reason. Understandable, but the animation looks a bit jank now.
Pronto Carnaval, vou maratonar apanhar para o Dragoon. Odeio quem postou kkkk
They probably got rid of the song because of copyright issues.
I don't understand that, it was the original song for the game? Why wouldn't it be included?
@@albireotheredguard1599 I don’t know.
@@SolCresta3405 Licensing is what it boils down to, the costs and the parties involved are a nightmare to deal with (record company, the artists, the distributor's, publisher).
@@Blur4strike Yes.
How come I just discovered this now I knew about the Japanese intro but not this banger 😎
lol Why is Double in the intro?
este fue el inicio hacia mi trauma jajaja ay unu

So you can’t read subtitles. Got it.
