I love your reactions. Meat Loaf was the most expressive performer I have ever seen. This is a true Rock Opera Experience!!! Please react to Objects In the Rearview Mirror May Appear Closer than They are by Meat Loaf…. That video is also a work of art. RIP to Meat Loaf…
I'm so sorry, I've no idea how I missed your reaction until now! I love how you commented on his power before he'd even shifted out of first gear. This song came out in 1993 when I was six, and I've never heard anything quite as unique, powerful, beautiful, warm and rich as Meat Loaf's voice. Jim Steinman was the songwriter, and he and Meat worked together on their debut "Bat Out of Hell" album that was released in 1977. When Jim had written the songs, he and Meat would go through them in a little rehearsal room with just a piano inside. Jim would be playing the piano, and he recalled that the walls would be shaking from the raw power of Meat's voice. Loved watching your reaction. You were so into it and I could see you were going on a full journey! Thank you for this!
This Song was written by Jim Steinman. His most accomplished and most praised (and most succesful) song is "Total Eclipse of the Heart", sung by Bonnie Tyler. This is simply the best (but there are a lot of other Jim Steinman songs that are simply epic.) Most of them were sung by Meatloaf.
His theatrics were as powerful as his singing. He was such a talented artist, actor and song writer. Definitely lost one of the greats last week. Im so happy I got to see him perform live. RIP❤
Me too! First concert of my Life in 93 or 94..my dad took me..sat in 8th row orchestra pit..needless to say my mind was blown. Dad and sister got to go to the meet and greet the night before..got autographed pictures and CD's..what a show!
It is. It's the ultimate oath. And it's a promise that can really test your mettle. As someone who is 4 years shy of being married for 20 years I can tell you that if you truly love that person it's an oath that's more than worth taking.
This video was directed by a very young Jerry Bruckheimer, Armagedaon director. Beauty and The Beast. And the song was written for the Film Brahm Stockers Dracula by Francis Ford Coppela. Hence the montage of the brides around the bed .. he would do anything for love, He would not lie to her .............. oh this was back when music videos were pretty much mini movies. Jim Stienman who passed away last year, wrote most of Meatloaf's music wrote this. Cheers. They are now once again rocking together ............
'Bat out of Hell', 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light', 'Two Out of Three Aint Bad', 'You Took the Words Right out of My Mouth'. All of them awesome Meat Loaf songs. Please do more of him.
Meatloaf has such a fantastic voice and some great songs, including this extremely powerful one. I had his album Bat Out Of Hell and it's fantastic. Apart from the title song which I love, other fab songs on the album are You Took the Words Right Out of my Mouth, Paradise by the Dashboard Light and Two out of Three Ain't Bad, just three examples. Another favourite of mine is Dead Ringer for Love. Meatloaf was in the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show where he sang Hot Patootie-Bless My Soul, a real rocker! That film, which came out in 1975, has some great music in it. Thanks so much for your reaction, guys, really interesting and very enjoyable.
Best song (for me) on the album is "For crying out loud" it was also meat Loaf''s favourite song he recorded and Jim Steinman;s favourite song he ever wrote.
Beautiful reaction! His background was theatrical, Broadway shows - yes he was that good - and then he moved away from that and did what we remember him for. An overwhelming performance, like all his others! So enormously passionate and intense. You really felt it! As I said, great reaction! ❤
Back here to watch this amazing performance by an amazing artist 💔 My heart is breaking after the news of his death 😪 Great reaction to this one guys. Hope you do a tribute to him in the coming days ♥️🎤🎶
Oh man just to go back and be hearing this masterpiece for the first time again . RIP meat loaf a big man with a big voice and even a bigger heart with an unmatched energy and stage presence. And as for a song on a same level " for crying out loud "
Jim Steinman is the one who created this fabulous song, and not only this one, he also created three other fabulous and very similar songs: in 1983 while "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (made by Jim Steinman) was at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. of that week, in number 2 Steinman also had another song but interpreted by the Australian duo called "Air Supply, they were in position 2 with" Making Love (Out of Nothing at All), later in 1993 he made this song "I ' d Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That) "for Meat Loaf, and another excellent 1996 hit by Canadian Celine Dion called" It's All Coming Back to Me Now. " If you liked "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" you will also like the other three songs mentioned above 100%. I recommend them if you are encouraged to make a reaction later, Happy Holidays!
One thing: It's All Coming Back to Me Now wasn't made for Celine Dion. Originally Jim made that song for a group of women that he created: Pandora's Box and I think they perform the song 1000% better than Celine. You must try it!
Terribly sad news today (Friday 21 January 2022) saying that Meatloaf has died at the age of 74. He had such an amazing career spanning decades, an incredible voice and wonderful songs. He will never be forgotten. RIP Meatloaf. Guys, it would be so good if you could react to one of his most iconic songs, Bat out of Hell - it's a classic!
Objects In The Rear View Mirror should be your next discovery, boys. Absolutely awesome. Meanwhile I'm just going to go away and sob for what we've just lost. RIP Meat. Heaven Can Wait...
I know this is an older reaction, but you guys really got this, and what it was all about. They way you two saw the amazing art in this performance, is special.
RIP To one of the best voices ever Meatloaf. They primetime this on tv when it came out because the video was a Minnie movie of 10 mins! Great singer and the world lost a grest person and talent. He has composed songs with some of the iconic singers doing duets!
His live performances were just as awesome as the video 😍 there will never be anyone like him again 🎶 I have quite a number of his cd’s 🎶 Jim Steinman the man playing the piano wrote this song 🎶 and Meat loaf gave it life 🎶
OK guys. Hope your well. I've been a meatloaf fanfor 35 years or so, I've seen him live a few times. This one of his best performances however if you want a follow up song try Bat out of he'll or Not a dry eye in the house or I couldn't have said it better that's 3 decades of songs. Love your channel
Esta es de esas canciones quela escuchas por primera vez y te emocionas, pasa el tiempo y la vuelves a escuchar y te vuelves a emocionar como la primera vez.
I was just a young girl (8-9) when I first saw/heard this video and being absolutely ENTHRALLED… I revisit this song every few years or so to try and recapture that feeling, sometimes I’m successful. Glad I was able to relive it vicariously through you guys ❤
Another Great song and Video you have to watch next is " Celine Dion - It's all Coming Back to me Know" Also set in a mansion with a lot of theatrics on a stormy night!
Next should be Two Out of Three Ain't Bad or You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth. AND you can't miss the performance of Paradise by the Dashboard Light
The are also 2 sequel videos to this song that continues their story in the video. Part 2 is called " I'd Lie For You (And That's The Truth)" and part 3 is called "If This Is The Last Kiss (Let's Make It Last All Night)". Please watch these and react to them as well.
You should react to Meatloaf's "all revved up with no place to go", "you took the words right out of my mouth", "heaven can wait" and "for crying out loud" - tracks from his epic 1977 album, Bat out of hell
This is the sequel to the video above pretty much. Sorry for the poor quality it is the only copy I have been able to find. It is just as good as I would do anything for love ... enjoy ua-cam.com/video/sEurKZPbhQk/v-deo.html
"I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" Video created by the great #MichaelBay with lyrics by #JimSteinman and performed by the wonderful rock opera singer #MeatLoaf with backing vocals by #LorraineCrosby and the model in the video #DanaPatrick is something spectacular, #MeatLoaf's unique and unparalleled vocal range in the extended version of the CD "Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell" of 12 minutes 01 seconds leaves you breathless, both the video and the versions in CDs are unique, as was #MeatLoaf with the tenor vibrato vocal register that made it one in a million, unmatched. #MeatLoaf was unique, special and a wonderful human being... #MeatLoaf will live forever in our hearts
His Name is : Marvin Lee Aday. 1st. Went to Acting School. Than, He sang & Started a Band. Name the Band? Use Nick Name (MEAT) : by his father. Marvin Steped on Teachers foot He Yelled Get your Loaf off my Foot!!! (MEAT) Than Add (LOAF). But, To Different Words & Meanings. Nothing to do With Meatloaf... Marvin Aday was a Grate Actor. His Singing was just beautiful... Loved your acting & singing. When I'm finished doing what needs to be finished I'LL Be Seeing Ya.!!!
If you are looking for a song that is on the same incredible level as this one, listen to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler. It was written and produced by the same genius - Jim Steinman - and sung by another artist with a very unique voice. What these two songs have in common is that they are moments of genius in the history of music that are without equal. Thank you Jim Steinman for this incredible beautiful music
If you want to cry during a video you must watch Meat Loaf’s objects in the rearview mirror. And if you want to cry just listening to one of his songs, try for crying out loud. There’s no video and the live performances is not as good as the album. But give those two a reaction video. I’d love to see it.
He just passed away today. Rest in peace to an iconic performer. This is one of my favourite songs ever
His name was Robert Paulson.
The video is a play on Beauty and the Beast, Dracula, and Phantom of the Opera. His vocals are amazing.
unfortunately meatloaf passed away this morning aged 74 , so sad but what a voice who touched so many 😓
One of the most incredible songs ever written, glad you reacted to this.
Jim was a genius writer and only Meat could bring them to life like that. RIP Jim and Meat.
One of the best pieces of art ever created
When she came in singing it took it to another level. What a powerful Masterpiece. He has other good songs but its pretty hard to beat this one!

Beautiful song! It sounds like what Love should feel like💖

1947-2022 ❤️
Mr. Jim Steinman wrote every note and word you heard. Two geniuses that worked so beautifully together that make your eyes wet.
Meatloaf appears in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which you will love.

An actress mimes the female part in this video the recording was actually sung by Lorraine Crosby from the UK.

i'm very interested on your reaction to Meat Loaf - Dead ringer of love together with Cher
P.S Michael Bay directed this. Yes, THE Mr Bay. It's fire 🔥
technicaly he don't had a very powerfull voice ( even if he had some power) but, emotions, pronunciation and technics he was a "monster" in these 3)!
🙏🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹❤❤❤❤
