The female singer is credited as Mrs Loud. That's what everybody called her when this came out. This was before everyone could look everything up on a computer. So give the respect and call her Mrs Loud.

Okay, a few things: first, that's Lorraine Crosby on the female voice. Great singer. Second, this and a LOT of the best songs Meat Loaf did were written by the late great Jim Steinman. He wrote Two Out of Three Ain't Bad, the great Bonny Tyler hit Total Eclipse of the Heart, and my favorite song to pick me up "Rock and Roll Dreams Come True (which, if you watch the video, the runaway girl is a very young Angelina Jolie.) Steinman also wrote Making Love Out of Nothing At All that was the big Air Supply hit (and was my sign-off song when I was doing radio DJ at a little station in Amarillo in the late 1980s). I would turn that thing up LOUD and sing my heart out. Loved the reaction.
He was a big theater guy and always wanted to be a stage actor. That adds some background why he’s such a good stage presence and his shows and videos are like a movie
