Hey! I don't like that. Rodecaster has great preamps and the sound is clean. If you do that you will record the sound also through the camera preamp and that has poor quality compared with Rodecaster.
Envato is awesome, I really like it too. This video is probably going to end up making me spend money my friend! If you are doing voice cleanup in post production, are there some basic tips / starting points that creators can use to make it easier? Great video....absolutely appreciate the information!
Hey. Thank you. I don’t intend to make spend money 😁 But if you want premium processing and channels and things like this, it can help you :) I will add on my list a tutorial for voice cleanup but it depends on what software you use :) Aaaaand! The audio in your videos is super good bro :) Thank you for your support!
Hey thank you! I don’t want to make you to buy it if you don’t need it 😁 But if you think you need all these festures, this is a great tool. Thank you for your support :)
I use lav mic(pop voice) for my videos and I couldn't get good sound from it. I use different mechanisms to get good quality but its not that much so can you advice me some techniques to get good audio when am recording sound and also in post production thankyou. @@GabrielVIP
Hey friend. I have been using the DBX286s for live processing for a couple years...but its always different to get it dialed in just right...have you any experience with that equipment to be able to compare? I'm wondering if this would be a good replacement. I record into the Zoom P4 which it looks like this would also replace.
Hey bro. I have the DBX. It’s good, I like it but this is different. On the DBX you have a complete chain and more. the EQ is fantastic, the compression is great, exciter and many more. If it worth to upgrade or not… it’s ip to you and what you do. If you need more channels, advance procesing, three channels from your computer etc… this is perfect :) Thank you!
Great informative video! Did you directly connect the audio from the Rodecaster Duo to the camera? Or you recommend to record using external recorder and sync later?
Hey! I always recommend recording externally. On Rodecaster or other recorder. The 3, 5mm jack that the camera has is the worst connection when it comes to quality. If you invest a lot in a great device, try and squeeze the maximum of it. It will take you 1 minute more to sync the audio, but the quality is the most important. Thank you!

The compression tools are the most exciting to me! One day I'll buy this to myself :)
Hey! Yeah, the compression is so good, and you can set it super precise. It worth the money. Thank you!
The Rodecaster Duo is fantastic! Thank you for helping me learn how to use it.
Great to hear and happy to help :) Thank you!
Are consultants available from Rode? Could you link here? Didn't know about the background music option! Thank you: no small talk, just the facts.
Hey! I don't know about the Rode consultants. I never talked to anyone at Rode. Glad you like the video. Thank you!
great video. just curous what do you use to boost your audio in post? i use a RCD and notice the volume is SUPER LOW to SD card.
Hey! I have a dedicated video where I share my processing steps: ua-cam.com/video/ESuleihryNg/v-deo.htmlsi=ii6bTiaZ59JNTLFV
@ thank you I’ll check it out :)
Do you have any recommendations on Consultants ? I would love to fine tune my Duo perfectly
Hey! What problem do you have with it?
I will add on my list a full tutorial about Rodecaster DUO :)
Ha, I have the same setup except I use the bigger brother of the duo, RCP2.
Thank you! The PRO version it’s awesome! I don’thave space on my desk for it but that is awesome.
This is the video that sold me lol
Haha :)
I hope you will like it. For sure you will reach great results :)
Hi. Do you recommend I connect the rodecaster duo directly to my Sony A6400 DSLR camera?
Hey! I don't like that. Rodecaster has great preamps and the sound is clean. If you do that you will record the sound also through the camera preamp and that has poor quality compared with Rodecaster.
Thank you for your response. So I should record into my laptop right? That’s gonna work right?
Yes! On your laptop or on the Micro SD card. You can insert a micro SD card into your Rodecaster.
Is the coments applied to the rodecaster x too?
Hey! Not really. You have fewer channels, and no display, it’s a different kind of device.

@@GabrielVIP thank you for your response. I really appreciate it. Your answer helps me on how to make the right decisions when purchasing equipment.
Your ads ruin this video. Thumbs down
What ads my brother? Thank you for your feedback :)
Planit the fact that you let an AD ruin something that’s completely different shows a lot how judgemental you are
And I still don't know about what ADS is about :)) Thank you :)
